The store recommended shades 1.5 and 2, and I chose the yellow-based 1.5 shade. When I swatched it on the back of my hand, it looked quite dark, and I thought 'Oh no, did I buy the wrong one?'. But when I blended it out, it became much lighter - a clear ivory shade. The texture is quite fluid, like a cream. My skin wasn't in the best condition, but it applied nicely. Even though I wore a mask all day, laughed, talked, and sweated a bit, my skin still looked good! I'm not sure if it wears down beautifully or just wears off nicely... I tried applying it with my fingers too, and it went on very smoothly and thinly everywhere except around my nose. The store staff told me to apply it like a cream, and it really does work that way! Compared to how moisturizing it feels, it's not overly oily.
ConsThe coverage is really quite poor. If you want to cover a lot, this won't work. I wore sunscreen, foundation, and powder, and it still transferred quite a bit onto my mask. But considering how much I was laughing and talking, I guess that's still pretty decent. Compared to the matte, long-wearing foundations, this does have more transfer. The darkening isn't too bad, though. It's only 35ml, not 50ml, and it's in a tube, so the packaging cost is probably less. But 58,000 won? Really?!

Please note that this is a review for the 1.5 product. Keywords: Sheer coverage, semi-matte, natural, thin, clear 🙆♀️ Skin expression (applies thinly) I usually like foundations that provide a subtle, luminous glow, like the NARS Natural Radiant. This is one of the thinnest-applying foundations I've tried so far. The application is really nice - it melts into the skin like a moisturizer. It might be similar to a high-end CC cream. I've tried applying it with my fingers and a flat brush, and the brush application gives a more seamless, thin coverage. Since it's so thin, some redness can peek through over time, and the oily areas can fade away. But it doesn't break down messily. After 6 hours of wear, only the nose area faded, while the rest of the face still looked good. 🙆♀️ Beautiful skin-like finish Armani is known for their beautiful skin-like finishes. I prefer pink-toned bases, so I initially wanted to try the 2, but the sales associate recommended the 1.5 for my skin tone. Even though 1.5 is the lightest, it doesn't look overly brightening - it just blends seamlessly with my natural skin and gives a lovely glow. 🙆♀️ Waterproof ⭕️ Surprisingly, the water-resistant performance is excellent. It doesn't budge at all when splashed with water. I'm excited to see how it holds up in the summer with just powder as a setting. 🙆♀️ Good price for Armani At 58,000 KRW, it's a reasonable price compared to Armani's other foundations. Although the packaging is a bit basic, you can get it at a more affordable price by purchasing online after testing in-store.
Cons🤷♀️ The tube packaging makes it difficult to dispense a consistent amount each time, making it inconvenient to control the application. 🤷♀️ When used alone without a makeup base, the color tends to settle over time. If you use a very heavy skincare routine, the foundation may fade or darken more quickly. 🙅♀️ Coverage ❌ Since I really prefer a lightweight texture, this is actually a strength and benefit for me. But if you're looking for full coverage or have a lot to conceal, you may be unsatisfied. It's wise to use a concealer to cover small blemishes.
TipUsing a makeup base product first before applying the foundation will significantly improve the longevity and prevent darkening.👍 Be sure to set the oily areas with powder! (Otherwise, you may experience fading in those areas) Since it doesn't have built-in sun protection, be sure to use a separate sunscreen as well.
