It's lightweight and works well with my sensitive skin. It feels moisturizing and absorbs well. The coverage isn't too heavy, which is fine for me.
ConsThere's not much to complain about, but if I had to say one thing, I wish they'd offer a lighter shade. I hope they'll release a 0 shade for those who use 13, and a 1 shade for those who use 21... right?
TipEven when I pat it on vigorously with my hands, it absorbs well into the skin.

I've used foundations from Dior, Saint Laurent, etc., but this one gave me the best skin finish. While it doesn't offer much coverage, it creates a natural, beautiful skin texture that I really adore. It's such a shame that I can't use it regularly because it causes my skin to break out.
ConsI absolutely love everything about this product, but... Although I don't usually get acne, whenever I use this, my entire face breaks out with tiny bumps, almost like folliculitis. I'm so frustrated that my skin doesn't agree with the ingredients. It's heartbreaking that I can't use it!

Lasting Silk has a more noticeable yellow undertone and seems slightly darker in tone. - It's lightweight, feeling like you're barely wearing anything. - Easy to apply with fingers, and the texture is as hydrating as an emulsion. - The finish is slightly powdery, but it doesn't make your skin feel dry or tight underneath. - There's no flaking or clumping of dead skin cells, and it creates a beautiful skin texture. While the coverage might not be as high as a foundation, it does a good job of concealing blackheads. I bought this product because I was using dermatological ointments that caused a lot of dead skin cells to surface. My previous foundations (Lasting Silk, Dior Forever, Futurist) would flake and clump when my skin wasn't in good condition. I wanted to try a lightweight formula that wouldn't flake, and this seems to work well.
Cons- It doesn't have sun protection. I wanted a one-step, lightweight finish, but since it lacks SPF, I need to apply sunscreen separately. *The ingredient list does include titanium dioxide, which can provide sun protection, but the product isn't marketed as having SPF... - The coverage is somewhere between a tinted sunscreen and a foundation. If you're expecting foundation-like coverage, you might be disappointed.
TipAdditional tip! It's better to apply this with your hands rather than using a puff or brush. This method provides better coverage, uses less product, and applies more smoothly.
