It applies thinly like an emulsion, without caking or looking unnatural. It blends seamlessly with the skin. There's no darkening, and using shade 1.5 brightens and looks natural, making me reach for it often. However, for more polished looks, I still use foundation. You need to apply sunscreen underneath. Without sunscreen, the finish looks prettier, but it's not recommended. The standout feature of this product is how well it absorbs even with a quick application! - dh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 5, 2023
When I first used this, I was reminded of Ha Do-young's line from 'The Glory': 'To appreciate expensive wine, first try cheap wine from a convenience store, then taste the expensive one. You'll understand the difference.' Indeed, after using only cheap foundations, I finally splurged on an expensive one, and it wasn't costly for no reason. I'm definitely sticking with this! Key points: • Applies thinly • Good coverage, but those with many blemishes may need concealer • Semi-matte formula • Looks pretty when applied by hand, but works best with a sponge • Slightly yellow undertone, keep that in mind • Shade 1.5 is perfect for those who usually use shade 21 • Great staying power • Even with a mask on, it only comes off where the mask touches and stays put elsewhere I don't have any complaints yet. If I find any drawbacks while using it, I'll come back to write about them. The combination with a sponge is much better than applying it with your hands. The way it applies so thinly is just amazing! - jy********Dry SkinFeb 19, 2023
It applies incredibly thinly, feeling more like a CC cream or brightening moisturizer rather than a foundation. It's so light you can barely tell you're wearing it, and the color isn't too bright. There's almost no tone-up effect, just a slight evening of the skin texture. Compared to similar shades of other foundations, it doesn't seem particularly dark, but the thin application might be why it doesn't give much of a tone-up effect. This would be great for those with an even complexion but prone to redness - it looks very natural. Since I have quite a few blemishes, I end up applying another foundation or cushion on top of this... It has a slightly yellow undertone. When you first apply it, it forms little water droplets, but once you spread it out, it feels more powdery than moisturizing. I bought it based on a YouTuber's recommendation, but it doesn't seem to have much merit for me. I thought layering might help, but even with a thin application, it pills after one or two layers... Since it doesn't have sun protection, I don't see much point in using it. Coverage is non-existent... Only recommended for those who want an extremely natural look or already have great skin. It's the kind of foundation your parents would approve of when you visit home... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 15, 2022
It's a bit dark, but it feels like I'm not wearing anything. It's lightweight and works well with my sensitive skin. It feels moisturizing and absorbs well. The coverage isn't too heavy, which is fine for me. There's not much to complain about, but if I had to say one thing, I wish they'd offer a lighter shade. I hope they'll release a 0 shade for those who use 13, and a 1 shade for those who use 21... right? Even when I pat it on vigorously with my hands, it absorbs well into the skin. - go*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 20, 2022
I don't usually wear heavy coverage makeup, so I really liked this. It applies quite smoothly and thinly. It feels like something between a foundation and a BB cream. My skin is dry, very thin, and has a lot of fine lines, but after applying this, it seemed to fill in those lines nicely without causing any dryness. I was torn between shades 1.5 and 3, but I think I made the right choice. I have a complexion around shade 19 with redness, so I usually avoid pink-toned products. I went for 1.5 as it's a bit lighter. In reality, 1.5 is quite close to a neutral tone. It has a yellowish ivory hue, which I actually prefer. It's not as moisturizing as I expected. After application, it finishes with a slightly powdery feel (when applied with fingers). While it's not drying, don't expect a dewy or glowing finish. - al**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2022
I prefer a natural makeup look, and I use shade 19. • Purpose: For when I want to achieve an effortlessly chic look without appearing overly made-up • Color: The most natural-looking shade. The advantage is that with a light application, it truly looks like my own skin. • Texture: A soft, powdery finish Due to its powdery texture, it requires careful application, which makes me less inclined to use it frequently. I think I'll use this 'during summer + when I want to look as natural as possible'. Compared to the Amuse cushion, it has a more powdery finish, making it great for a no-makeup makeup look in hot weather. - jo****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 20, 2022
I loved how it applied smoothly and moisturized well, even on dry skin without looking patchy. I've used foundations from Dior, Saint Laurent, etc., but this one gave me the best skin finish. While it doesn't offer much coverage, it creates a natural, beautiful skin texture that I really adore. It's such a shame that I can't use it regularly because it causes my skin to break out. I absolutely love everything about this product, but... Although I don't usually get acne, whenever I use this, my entire face breaks out with tiny bumps, almost like folliculitis. I'm so frustrated that my skin doesn't agree with the ingredients. It's heartbreaking that I can't use it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2022
I absolutely love the texture and the clear ivory color. While it's not a high-coverage product, that's not what I'm looking for, so I have no complaints. My skin is prone to blemishes, but this doesn't completely mask imperfections. Instead, it's lightweight and actually makes my skin look better. It doesn't give that 'made-up' or 'trying too hard' look, which makes it even cooler. It's super convenient to just swipe on and go. The biggest drawback is the lack of sun protection. When the wind gets chilly in winter, old blemish marks tend to show through, making the skin look patchy and uneven, which is a bit disappointing. - xo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2022
(I usually use the brightest base. My skin has a slightly olive tone that looks pale next to yellow skin and slightly yellow next to reddish skin.) Despite my lack of skill, this foundation is easy to use even without special application techniques. Although it has low coverage, it fills in pores quite well and doesn't settle into them messily over time. It applies thinly and lightly without emphasizing texture. It doesn't darken much and has good staying power. Even with prolonged mask wear, it fades slightly rather than breaking down messily. It transfers less to masks compared to other products. I bought both shades 3 and 1.5. I recommend shade 3 for those who like a natural look with shade 22 skin, and 1.5 for those who prefer a bright, radiant look with shade 21 skin. I use 1.5 as I like a radiant finish. The clear color doesn't look heavy and doesn't interfere with color makeup. The clear and bright base allows color makeup to look pretty on top. It may look yellow and dark for the lightest shade when swatched on the hand, but it's different on the face. (For combination skin leaning dry) Although it's a semi-matte formula, I didn't find it drying. Above all, it doesn't cause blemishes, so I'm really enjoying using it. I hope it continues to be available without discontinuation or reformulation, as it's exactly the product I wanted. Summary: - Thin, clear, radiant - Low coverage - Semi-matte but not drying - Good staying power - Almost no darkening - Doesn't emphasize texture It doesn't contain sun protection ingredients, so you must apply sunscreen well before using this. I use it with the Fillimilli wedge sponge sold at Olive Young and find they work well together. I apply a thin layer first, then lightly add more to areas that need it. When wearing a mask for a long time, if the makeup seems to have worn off slightly, gently patting it helps. - so********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2021
The coverage is fantastic, and I prefer a more natural look over a matte base, so I decided to give this a try. At the store, they recommended shades 1.5 and 2, but I went with 1.5 for its yellow undertone. When I first squeezed it onto the back of my hand, it looked quite dark, and I thought, 'Oh no, did I make a mistake?' But once I spread it out, it brightened up considerably - a clear ivory shade. It's quite fluid, almost like a brightening moisturizer. Even though my skin wasn't in the best condition, it applied nicely. I wore a mask all day, laughed, talked, and even sweated a bit, but surprisingly, my skin still looked pretty good! It either fades beautifully or wears off gracefully. I also tried applying it with my fingers, and except for around the nose, it went on incredibly smoothly and thinly - I was quite impressed. The store employee suggested applying it like a cream, and it really works! Despite being hydrating, it doesn't feel overly rich. Compared to my usual product, it feels more hydrating initially, but there's less shine later on. The coverage is really lacking - a lot! If you want to conceal anything, this isn't for you. I went out wearing sunscreen, foundation, and powder, and it still transferred quite a bit to my mask. But considering I was laughing and chatting a lot, maybe it's not too bad? I usually change my mask once during the day when I'm wearing makeup, so it wasn't a big inconvenience. However, compared to matte foundations that really stick to the skin, this one does transfer more. There is some darkening, but it's tolerable. It's only 35ml, not even 50ml, and it's in a tube so the packaging cost should be less, yet it's 58,000 won? Ha! That's quite pricey.
