I switched from Estée Lauder to this after trying a sample. It has great staying power and feels less oily. I heard it's been discontinued... What should I buy now? Will they release something new? - ji*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 18, 2024
The texture is absolutely amazing! It's perfect for sensitive skin - I've never had any blemishes from it. Even the cushion puff itself is noticeably different! Chanel doesn't provide great coverage! I'd recommend this for those who already have clear skin. Make sure to test it in-store as the shades can be quite different from what you expect! Personally, I only use Chanel's base makeup products when I want a light, natural look. If you're after more coverage, I'd suggest trying YSL instead! - ze*****Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2023
This cushion foundation has similar longevity, coverage, and skin finish to Chanel's Le Teint foundation. While I usually think cushions and liquid foundations inevitably give different skin finishes, this one achieves a look very similar to Le Teint! It truly creates a poreless complexion. There's also minimal transfer. The standout feature for me is its coverage. Not only does it conceal blemishes well, but I find it unbeatable for hiding redness. It's my go-to foundation when drinking - my neck, hands, and legs may turn red, but my face stays flawless! Everyone always asks what foundation I'm wearing. Though the price might be steep, I think it's a cushion you'll keep repurchasing once you try it. I recommend buying the full product at duty-free shops and refills from department stores! The downsides are the high price and that the ingredients aren't as good as you might expect. Also, the shades run a bit darker than their liquid foundation counterparts. Make sure to test it in-store or buy one shade lighter than usual! - rk********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinApr 18, 2023
The packaging is really beautiful... Hmm, and well... The packaging is lovely It's supposed to be in the same line as the Ultra Le Teint foundation, but the coverage, absorption, and lasting power are all so disappointing that I doubt they're from the same line. I bought it with high hopes because I liked Ultra Le Teint, but I'm let down... When touching up, it clumps and feels like it's sitting on top of the skin, making my makeup look worse rather than better when I try to fix it... - li*********Combination SkinAtopic SkinMar 26, 2023
Great coverage and long-lasting. Plus, the compact case is really pretty. The thick application leaves a noticeable 'made-up' look. Not suitable for those seeking a natural skin finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2023
I believe Chanel's greatest strength is its ability to create a natural and luxurious glow The longevity and coverage are a bit lacking, so it might be better suited as a touch-up product It's great for touch-ups - th*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2023
Free from harmful ingredients Doesn't apply too thick Effectively covers pores Stays put without breaking down Can feel slightly dry if skincare isn't applied well Coverage is a bit lacking - eg****Combination SkinRecommendedJan 10, 2023
1) Absorbs well It applies smoothly. Even if you're not a beauty expert, you can pat it on and spread it easily. The texture isn't too matte or too moisturizing - it's just right with a moderate level of hydration. If you've done a very thorough skincare routine beforehand, you might experience a bit of pilling, but that's only if you've really layered on the products, so no need to worry. 2) Skin appearance Even without an extensive skincare routine, it manages to smooth out dry areas without looking parched. While it's not ultra-hydrating, it provides enough moisture to give your skin a non-dry glow. 3) Ingredients Among department store cushions, this seems to have the kindest ingredients. When I used Armani foundation, the harsh ingredients caused a lot of blemishes, but with this one, I didn't experience any breakouts while using it due to its gentle formulation. 4) Fragrance Overall, the scent isn't unpleasant, and I appreciated that it's less intense than Hera's fragrance. 1) Color range Everything else is great, but the limited color selection is disappointing. The shade matches my warm undertone perfectly, but it doesn't necessarily brighten my complexion. It just evens out my skin tone by one shade. 2) Applicator The white puff gets dirty easily, and its velvet-like texture means it needs frequent cleaning. I tried to purchase replacement puffs, but they were always sold out. Since it doesn't have sun protection, make sure to apply sunscreen before using this cushion. - im*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 25, 2022
It's moisturizing and gives a beautiful skin finish! The ingredients are great too. Perfect for daily use when paired with a makeup base. The coverage is a bit disappointing. Use it together with a concealer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 7, 2022
The coverage is absolutely fantastic! The color payoff is exceptional, and it adheres to the skin beautifully. The staying power is top-notch too! While the coverage is great, it does seem to be a bit lacking in terms of hydration. I'd recommend applying a solid base of skincare products before using this cushion foundation. That way, you'll likely be even more satisfied with the results.
