1. Being a water tint, it doesn't cause lip cracking and keeps lips moisturized. 2. The clear red shade isn't overwhelming, and when applied lightly, it can create a natural look. 3. I've been struggling to find a tint that works well with my dry lips, but this one is perfect, so I keep using it. If you don't control the amount well, it can apply too intensely. It fades easily, so you need to reapply frequently to maintain the lip color. If you control the amount well before applying, you can achieve a light red shade. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 1, 2020
<Based on Pale Best Summer Light> Swatch comparison: YSL Water Stain 612 (top) vs. 605 (bottom) I'm not sure why I bought this color, as I usually avoid deep reds that don't suit me well! It's a warm red shade! Not overly orange-toned, but more of a classic red feel. Cool-toned folks might find it a bit warm for their liking. The formula is truly excellent. It creates a beautiful water-like film that's hydrating, so it looks good even when your lips aren't in the best condition. It also blends beautifully, so I highly recommend it for those who can pull off this shade! For those like me who don't typically wear or suit red lips, the color payoff might be too intense and overwhelming. I found the prettiest way to use 612 was to apply a light base color first, then use just a small amount of 612 for a gradient effect. It paired beautifully with Hera Spicy Nude Balm in Moody! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 29, 2020
It's a hydrating, juicy red lip color. Not only is the shade beautiful, but it also has great staying power. After applying and waiting a bit, it doesn't even transfer! It's absolutely amazing. Whether you do a gradient or full lip, it looks gorgeous! I haven't found any drawbacks yet. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the color might be a bit intense when applied to a bare face. While it's a water tint, it's not just a lightweight tint. It has a moisturizing formula that feels like it has some oil added to it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 18, 2019
I usually stick to safe coral shades, but I boldly tried 612 Guiit this time. The red wasn't too overpowering, which I really liked. The color is more intense than I expected, so you'll need to be careful with the amount when using it for everyday wear.
