  Pros

  A toner with a slightly yellow, runny texture reminiscent of nasal mucus. It feels more like an ampoule than a toner, so on days when your skin is already well-hydrated, you can apply this twice and follow with a light moisturizer. It's deeply hydrating, so you won't feel any deep dryness. The scent is pleasant, and it's great for those trying retinol for the first time as it's unlikely to cause blemishes. As long as you ensure it absorbs well, it won't cause pilling with makeup.

  Cons

  You won't immediately notice a dramatic improvement in skin elasticity. It doesn't give the sensation of smoothing out skin texture or removing dead skin cells. Naturally, after a month of use, there's no noticeable reduction in pore size. Due to its high hydration, it feels thick and might be too heavy for oily skin types in summer. It absorbs slower than expected. You need to gently pat it in for a while to ensure absorption, making it less suitable for busy mornings.

  Tip

  Using it as a mask can give you a sense of refined skin texture. It's great for use with a cotton pad or mixed with other mask ingredients. Mixing a small amount with a thick foundation not only provides hydration but also helps with smooth application and long-lasting moisture.

  Pros

  I've been using this for about two and a half months without any blemishes or irritation. As an ampoule toner, the texture is on the heavier side, but it absorbs well and instantly gives a glow. The scent isn't overpowering, so it's not off-putting.

  Cons

  I haven't noticed any significant skin changes yet, as I've only been using it for a short time. The texture is quite rich, so I find myself using a separate light hydrating toner alongside it.

  The retinol concentration seems to be quite low, which is probably why I've never experienced any blemishes on my face from using it. The scent is just like a typical cosmetic fragrance, so it's not unpleasant to me. The texture feels like a slightly thick liquid, and when applied, it's neither too light nor too heavy - just perfect. I can use it daily without any discomfort. After application, my skin feels firm and hydrated, so as an ampoule toner, it seems to cover the basics well.

  Cons

  Well, I bought this because it was supposed to help with pore tightening, but I'm not really sure if it's working. I can't remember where I saw this review, but someone mentioned that using it with a cotton pad might be more effective for pores than just applying it directly. So now I'm considering whether I should start using it with pads.

  Tip

  CAUTION: Even though the retinol concentration is low, those who don't tolerate retinol well should be careful... I was struggling to figure out why my skin was reacting badly, and some days my skin would burn and sting terribly when I applied sunscreen. I kept changing sunscreens thinking it was the cause, but it turns out it was because of the retinol. When I removed this from my routine, my skin improved. I've decided to permanently ban retinol from my skincare regimen from now on.
