I recommend this for beginners who want to check if retinol suits their skin, as it doesn't have a high retinol content! The texture is a bit thicker for a toner, so I use it as an absorbing toner rather than an exfoliating one or as a pack. It worked well even for my sensitive combination dehydrated skin. While I didn't notice any dramatic effects, I felt it evened out my skin texture. I like that it contains various ingredients besides retinol, such as vitamin C! Due to the low retinol content, I didn't see the significant effects typically associated with retinol products... After cleansing in the evening, I use an exfoliating toner with a pad, then apply this by patting it into my skin! Since I have combination dehydrated skin, I might not notice it as much, but I've heard retinol products can lack hydration. Key ingredients include pure retinol, collagen, vitamin C derivatives, and hyaluronic acid. The balance between hydration and oil is excellent. I think it's a great main toner, especially during seasons when skin tends to get dry easily. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. It has a floral scent, but it's not strong enough to be bothersome.
