  I wanted to use a retinol product but was looking for something gentle that I could use without worry. I bought this because it's in toner form, and it has a runny consistency. It's suitable for morning use too, so I apply it like an essence. After using it for over a month, I feel like my skin is becoming more supple and firm. I plan to repurchase it in the future.

  Cons

  As someone with dry and super sensitive skin, I didn't find it particularly irritating. To be honest, there's nothing really disappointing about this product that I can point out.

  Tip

  I bought a 200ml pump bottle from Daiso and transferred the product into it for easier use. I got this tip from reading reviews on Coupang, and it works great. Since it's affordable, I even apply it generously on areas like my chest.

  Pros

  I was worried the retinol might be irritating, but it wasn't harsh on my skin at all, which was fantastic. The subtle fragrance made applying it such a pleasure. After using it, my skin feels firmer and more supple, so I'm extremely satisfied with the results.

  The retinol concentration seems to be quite low, which is probably why I've never experienced any blemishes on my face from using it. The scent is just like a typical cosmetic fragrance, so it's not unpleasant to me. The texture feels like a slightly thick liquid, and when applied, it's neither too light nor too heavy - just perfect. I can use it daily without any discomfort. After application, my skin feels firm and hydrated, so as an ampoule toner, it seems to cover the basics well.

  Cons

  Well, I bought this because it was supposed to help with pore tightening, but I'm not really sure if it's working. I can't remember where I saw this review, but someone mentioned that using it with a cotton pad might be more effective for pores than just applying it directly. So now I'm considering whether I should start using it with pads.

  Tip

  CAUTION: Even though the retinol concentration is low, those who don't tolerate retinol well should be careful... I was struggling to figure out why my skin was reacting badly, and some days my skin would burn and sting terribly when I applied sunscreen. I kept changing sunscreens thinking it was the cause, but it turns out it was because of the retinol. When I removed this from my routine, my skin improved. I've decided to permanently ban retinol from my skincare regimen from now on.

  Despite mentioning some drawbacks, after using this product, my skin became incredibly soft and supple.

  Cons

  While retinol creams and ampoules are common in the market, a retinol toner was unfamiliar to me. This toner has a heavy feel, similar to an ampoule but even thicker than a snail mucin texture. I received 6 sample bottles and tested them in various ways. Initially, I was quite apprehensive, wondering if applying retinol at the toner stage would be too harsh. Moreover, with alcohol and fragrance in the ingredients, I feared it might irritate my sensitive skin. When used as an absorbing toner, exfoliating toner, or pack, I experienced some bumpy reactions on my butterfly zone, near the hairline on my cheekbones, and on my forehead. Though not severe, there was slight itching and tingling after use, so I washed it off with water only. This product was the most challenging to review because its pros and cons were so significant. The advantage is that it truly made my skin soft and firm. However, the downside is that shortly after use, my skin felt dry, with slight tingling and itching sensations. While not extreme, I noticed slight bumps on my forehead, around the eyebrows, cheekbones near the hairline, and butterfly zone. In conclusion, while it greatly improved skin texture, it did cause some irritation. Although retinol is inherently an irritating ingredient, many gentle retinol products are available nowadays. Therefore, I probably won't purchase this product separately.

  The ampoule toner has a rich, bouncy texture. It's incredibly hydrating too! Despite its retinol content, you can apply it morning and night without issues. I sometimes use it as a spot treatment by soaking a cotton pad and placing it on areas with blemishes. I've been praising IOPE's retinol products, and since this is from the same Amore Pacific family, I trust it completely. Retinol works wonders for my skin, which makes me so happy!

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly bad to mention. The price seems reasonable for this quantity. It's all good!

  Tip

  I apply this right after cleansing. I also use a retinol cream, and lately, my skin seems to be getting more youthful. I'm so thrilled that retinol suits my skin so well!

  I bought this cream along with retinol because I heard it's good. The low-molecular collagen is supposed to improve skin elasticity, hyaluronic acid provides hydration, and vitamin C derivatives are said to brighten the skin. As it's an ampoule toner, it doesn't flow like water but has a viscous, serum-like texture. It feels smooth, absorbs quickly, and has a non-sticky, firm application. It's great for retinol beginners, and the purple bottle is pretty. They claim it makes skin firm inside and moist outside, and I can confirm - when I use regular water toner and moisturizer, my skin feels dry the next day, but with Mamonde's Retinol Ampoule Toner and moisturizer, my skin feels firm even the next morning.

  Cons

  It's difficult to use as an exfoliating toner, so you need to alternate it with other products. As it's an ampoule toner, it feels heavy when used with another ampoule. As I'm getting older, I'm not sure if it's having any effect on my skin's elasticity.

  Tip

  You can get by with just the Retinol Ampoule Toner and a moisturizer! It's a quick skincare routine that can combat winter dryness.
