  A toner with a slightly yellow, runny texture reminiscent of nasal mucus. It feels more like an ampoule than a toner, so on days when your skin is already well-hydrated, you can apply this twice and follow with a light moisturizer. It's deeply hydrating, so you won't feel any deep dryness. The scent is pleasant, and it's great for those trying retinol for the first time as it's unlikely to cause blemishes. As long as you ensure it absorbs well, it won't cause pilling with makeup.

  You won't immediately notice a dramatic improvement in skin elasticity. It doesn't give the sensation of smoothing out skin texture or removing dead skin cells. Naturally, after a month of use, there's no noticeable reduction in pore size. Due to its high hydration, it feels thick and might be too heavy for oily skin types in summer. It absorbs slower than expected. You need to gently pat it in for a while to ensure absorption, making it less suitable for busy mornings.

  As you approach your 40s, you naturally start to distance yourself from heavy makeup. Applying serums, ampoules, or essences directly to bare skin might actually reduce absorption, so starting with this product after cleansing is really fantastic. It absorbs well and has a perfect finish. The feeling after application isn't exactly like you've applied nothing - it's not that light - but it hydrates the skin sufficiently, preparing it for the next steps in your skincare routine.

  There's nothing particularly bad about it. If I had to nitpick, maybe the packaging design? It would be nice if they could change the bottle design that looks like cheap European cosmetics.

  - True to its name, it's a toner with an ampoule-like texture - I apply it directly after cleansing by dispensing it onto my hands - it's moisturizing and non-irritating - I switched to this after using a high-concentration retinol ampoule that was too harsh, and this absorbs well without being sticky - While the effects might be subtle, I feel I can use this consistently
