1. Ingredients When buying cosmetics, the first thing I quickly glance at is the ingredient list. Unlike many base products that often contain at least one high-risk ingredient, this product doesn't have any. It's mostly composed of low-risk ingredients, which I really appreciate. 2. Product Packaging The product case is so pretty! The bottom part of the container is transparent, allowing you to see the contents, while the upper part has a pink gradient matching the product inside. Not only is it visually appealing, but it's also practical as you can easily check how much product is left. The applicator tip is slightly curved like a lipstick, which allows for precise application - I love that! 3. Color The color is a versatile warm yellow tone. It's like they've taken a shade that's not quite ashy and not quite yellow, and slightly increased its brightness. It seems great for neutralizing redness and flushing. 4. Application It blends out well when you pat it on. It spreads easily with your fingers, but be careful not to apply too much in one area as it can build up and become thick. 5. Coverage It does a great job covering redness around the nose. I have particularly noticeable redness in that area that my cushion foundation couldn't cover, but this concealer definitely does the trick! 1. Coverage The coverage is a bit disappointing for a quick, everyday work makeup look (when you don't have time to build up your base). If you don't create a solid foundation first, it doesn't seem to cover pores as well as I'd like. 2. Oiliness After application, the skin-facing side feels matte, but there's a sense of oiliness rising to the surface. It gives me the feeling that it might transfer if I put my phone against my face. If you have oily skin, you might need to set it with powder to avoid feeling uncomfortable. It works great for covering redness around the nose when applied in thin layers with a patting motion! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 13, 2021
When I used this concealer, I felt it was more moisturizing compared to others. I think it would be particularly suitable for those with dry skin rather than combination to oily skin types. I won shade 23 and tried it out, but I found the color had too much yellow undertone mixed in. It made my face look slightly yellow, creating an unnatural appearance. Since I have combination dehydrated skin, the product's moisturizing formula didn't last long on me. With my slightly oily areas, reapplying caused the product to sit on top of the skin in some places. As time passed, it also emphasized my pores. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 11, 2021
- This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. - Skin condition: Dry on cheeks and chin, rest is close to normal. - Has blemish marks - Applied all over the face instead of foundation. Firstly, the product color was beautiful! My skin tone is 23 on the cheeks, and around 24-25 on the eyes and chin area, but the 23 Peanut shade seemed to cover and brighten nicely. It evened out my complexion cleanly without looking too white, thick, or cakey. Seems to match well with shade 23. The texture has a slight tackiness, almost powdery, and when applied with a cushion, it doesn't feel moisturizing. However, the formula has strength, allowing for good buildable coverage. It spreads smoothly without clumping and feels comfortable without drying or tightening the skin. (I was thinking of trying Covericious foundation since it's famous, but after using this concealer, I'm considering buying the 23 shade foundation too) Coverage is on the higher side, and applying two thin layers builds coverage well. The finish feels slightly elastic. I tried wearing and removing a mask without touch-ups, and it transfers like a regular foundation. Oil comes through on the forehead and nose areas, naturally fading, while on the cheeks it slightly settles into pores. However, it doesn't look messy and seems like it would clean up quickly with a touch-up. Powder or fixer would likely keep it neat! It wasn't particularly irritating, and I'm generally satisfied. I liked that it wasn't too drying even on my dry skin. - I was in a hurry so the photo is out of focus.. but you should be able to see the color impression. As expected for a concealer, the coverage builds well. Nothing major. But even though I have dry skin, after half a day oil came through and it wore off easily, so oily skin types might find it difficult to keep in place. You'll likely need powder or a fixer after applying the concealer.
