It's great that it doesn't transfer much onto masks.
ConsThere aren't any major drawbacks. The only minor issue is that if you don't close the cap properly after pumping, foundation can get on the white lid, which looks a bit messy.

The shade 21 matches perfectly, and I'm really satisfied with the color, how well it sticks to the skin, and the ingredients. It's great that it doesn't easily wash off when it gets wet. It even holds up well when wearing a mask and going about your day.
ConsThe coverage isn't particularly high... I used to use Banila Co. products, and this feels a step lower in coverage. But honestly, if you don't have severe blemishes or dark spots, this could be absolutely amazing.
TipDon't mix it with other products!

At first, it looked whiter than my skin tone, making me feel like a ghost, but it adjusted to match my complexion over time. It fades gracefully throughout the day. As time passed, only the nose area transferred slightly onto my mask due to oil production, while the rest of my face stayed put. Great adherence!
ConsDespite being called 'weightless', and while it does apply lightly, the coverage isn't particularly strong. As I have a rounded nose bridge, it tends to settle into the creases around my nostrils.

The texture is between fluid and creamy, applying lightly while providing decent basic coverage. For more coverage, you can apply a second layer or spot-treat areas. Despite its high coverage, it doesn't feel heavy, making it comfortable even during long periods of mask-wearing. It adheres well without emphasizing facial hair. The lightweight, compact packaging is convenient for travel.
ConsIt's not an instant-set formula, so allow some time before mask use to minimize transfer. While it adheres well, it may settle into wrinkles. As time passes, you might feel some dryness, so in fall and winter, apply plenty of hydrating skincare beforehand. The scent might be divisive.
TipUsing it alone can feel like heavy makeup, so apply a small amount with a damp sponge or mix with a hydrating product for a moisturized, covered look. For quick outings (especially morning commutes), set with powder before putting on a mask to prevent transfer. When you don't want to bother with concealer, you can achieve extreme coverage by applying an extra layer to specific areas (using a regular, not damp, sponge).

I don't have many blemishes and my skin is generally pretty clear, so I can't speak to how well it covers acne or major imperfections, but I really liked it! I have a somewhat ambiguous complexion around shade 22, but this wasn't too dark and my worries disappeared. The color is beautiful! As for how it absorbs, well... it's thicker than I expected, but not to the point where it doesn't spread. It's matte, but the adherence is great 👍👍 It applies thinly, which I like.
ConsThe ingredients are a bit disappointing. I have sensitive skin but no blemishes yet, so I'll have to try it to know for sure. Also, as a student without time for touch-ups, I found the staying power a bit lacking. These days I use cushion foundations more often, so I probably won't reach for this too much, but I might use it once in a while!

Application: I tried applying it with hands, brush, and puff - the application isn't bad at all. It spreads evenly and smoothly. 2. Lightweight: After application, there's no heavy feeling on the face. No itchiness or heaviness, making it comfortable for the skin. 3. Adherence: Though it applies smoothly, I thought it might come off easily. But once applied, it feels like it adheres well to the skin. Compared to my usual foundation, it doesn't transfer onto masks as much. 4. Color (W01 Vanilla): I have a light neck and usually use shade 21. The vanilla color looks light yet beautiful on the face. This was one of my favorite aspects of the product. Some shade 21 products can make your face look unnaturally pale, but this foundation looks natural while brightening the complexion.
Cons1. Pore-clogging: When applying with a brush and patting with a puff, you can see the product settling into pores right away. While foundation is supposed to go into pores to some extent, it didn't do a great job of concealing my numerous pores. 2. Slightly weak staying power for very oily skin: I had high hopes because it claimed to be long-lasting, but after applying at 9 AM, by 3 PM my nose area was shiny with oil. Fortunately, it didn't break down badly - areas like the forehead and between the brows had more of a dewy look, but for the nose and cheeks, a primer seems necessary. 3. Coverage: It only slightly covers freckles and blemishes.
TipFor those with large pores and oily skin, using a primer before application would likely improve results.

I'm someone who immediately gets an allergic reaction after using a product once. That's why I'm one of the people who greatly benefit from the Hwahae app. Even when I buy products that are praised on TV, I end up giving them away due to millet-like allergic reactions... Here's my honest review after having the chance to try this product: The conclusion is that it adheres lightly and doesn't look cakey. While it doesn't provide 100% blemish coverage, I'm very satisfied with how it creates a radiant and natural look, applies thinly without pilling, even though I usually use shade 21 but opted for shade 23 for a more subdued makeup look. Reading other reviews, some mention it being drying or looking cakey... I have a dry skin type. As I've aged and had a child, my skin condition has changed from what it used to be. This experience really emphasized the importance of proper skincare, no matter what foundation or product you apply. When I first used it, I applied small amounts with a sponge, but it felt too dry and I thought I couldn't use it. However, after using a mist and applying it with a foundation brush, then gently patting it in... it adhered seamlessly and was even better than the cushion I usually use. Before putting on a mask, I even applied powder, but I didn't feel any dryness, tightness, or makeup breakdown. I was so satisfied with how it looked under my eyes too, I was like 'Wow!' I'm highly satisfied as this opportunity has given me a great product and enough reason to switch. Overall, it's great because it's sufficient even with a thin application, doesn't look cakey, and has a nice powdery finish. For perfect coverage, you might want to use concealer in specific areas!
ConsThe downside is that it would be nice to have a wider range of shades. I'm satisfied with the finish though. However, since the product absorbs quickly, it might be challenging for those who lack application skills. It would be helpful to have detailed instructions.
TipAfter applying skincare, spritz on some mist, then pump about half a dose onto the back of your hand and spread it with your fingers. Use a flat foundation brush to glide the product three times on your cheeks first, then use the remaining amount to touch up your forehead and other areas. Then, use the brush on its side to gently pat the product. This will make it adhere perfectly to your skin without looking cakey, just like your own skin. This is a real pro tip, so give it a try. At first, I used a sponge and it was a disaster. But doing it this way made a complete 180-degree difference, which is why I'm writing such a positive review!

Adherence I was satisfied with how it applied. Using a moderate amount and patting it with a puff, it adhered thinly and evenly, blending naturally into the skin. 2. Minimal mask transfer Compared to other foundations, it transfers less onto masks. There's only slight transfer on mask support areas and creases, which is an improvement over my previous foundation. 3. Non-sticky As someone with oily skin, I find it difficult to use foundations that feel sticky after application. However, this product's formula doesn't feel sticky or runny, making it comfortable to wear.
Cons1. Limited shade range My skin tone is between 22-23, so I struggled with shade selection. I feel I would have deeply regretted choosing the Almond Butter shade. I wish they would release a wider range of shades to make it easier to find a match for different complexions. 2. Dryness After some time, it appeared to have a slightly white, lifted appearance. It seems like it might feel tight if there's not enough hydration, so I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin. For combination dehydrated skin, it's best to apply a moisturizer before the foundation. I wouldn't recommend using it in winter, but it might be suitable for summer when there's more sweat and oil production. 3. Longevity and coverage The staying power doesn't seem particularly long-lasting, and it struggles to completely conceal blemishes and troubled areas, which was disappointing. It also settled into nose creases over time, which was frustrating. For perfect coverage, you'd need to use a separate concealer for touch-ups. It might be good to have a compact powder on hand for touch-ups as well. Additionally, its ability to cover pores seemed weak, which was quite disappointing.

Thank you! I'll review it based on my honest experience. Positives: - Simple and clean cosmetic design - Pump dispenser - Matte finish Upon application, it adheres well to the skin and feels like you've applied powder. The texture is somewhat paint-like. Being a matte type, it's best used after proper exfoliation and moisturizing skincare. I recommend applying it thinly and gradually. If applied correctly in your base makeup routine: - Great absorption and longevity I tested it on the back of my hand, and it didn't wash off easily under running water. It stays put everywhere except areas like the nose. This means you'll need to cleanse thoroughly! - Decent coverage for redness I have some redness around my nose, and gently patting this product on in thin layers helped even out my complexion. As a tester, I think I'll continue using this product.
Cons- While it has good longevity, it can make the skin feel dry and matte You need proper skincare and application techniques to use it effectively. - I'm not sure if it's just me, but I found it challenging to remove completely due to its strong adherence. I suppose this is the trade-off for its long-lasting nature.
TipIt's best to apply this product thinly using a puff, controlling the amount as you go. Applying too much at once can make your skin look overly bright and the makeup appear thick.

It's not too heavy, yet it has great adherence! Personally, I prefer slightly matte foundations over glowy ones, and this foundation is just the right level of semi-matte, clinging perfectly to the skin. Despite being matte, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells or make skin texture look worse. I wore it from morning to evening, and surprisingly, there was no noticeable flaking or cracking. (I think this is because I thoroughly moisturized during my skincare routine before applying the foundation.) The coverage is also quite good. I mainly use foundation to even out my complexion and cover redness, and this one does the job without looking cakey. The color is a nice ivory shade, neither too red nor too yellow, making it look beautiful on the skin. I was worried the vanilla color might look too yellow, but that wasn't an issue at all... However, it did make my skin look slightly brighter than my natural tone. As for longevity, it's average. Having used Estée Lauder Double Wear before, this one doesn't last quite as long, but it's not bad. When I wore it from morning to evening without touch-ups, oil only appeared in my T-zone.
ConsI wish there was a wider range of shades available to choose from. Also, people with dry skin might find it a bit drying.
TipA little goes a long way in evening out your complexion, so rather than applying a thick layer, try building it up thinly for better adherence and longer wear. Since it's a matte type, it can be drying, so make sure to moisturize well in your skincare routine before applying the foundation!
