The thin, fluid texture applies lightly, so it's better to build up layers rather than trying to achieve full coverage in one go. Here's a tip: use a puff for areas that need more adherence, and a brush for areas like the nose that need more coverage (opposite of other foundations, right?). Application: When I first squeezed it onto the back of my hand, I thought it might be a dewy foundation due to its fluidity. But as soon as I applied it with a puff... it adheres perfectly to the skin! However, this also means it can be quite drying. Longevity: It's incredible... I worked a 4-hour shift, sweating and talking a lot, but except for the bridge of my nose, everything stayed flawless! Most importantly, wow... I have extremely oily skin, but when I pressed an oil blotting sheet to my face in the evening after applying the foundation in the morning... no oil came off! However, it can be quite drying, so you might need to apply a moisturizing cream in your skincare routine. Ingredients: Ever since I had a bad reaction to the Moonshot cushion, I always check ingredients carefully. Weightless has great ingredients, and I didn't get any blemishes at all. I'm so impressed! And my face doesn't itch at all! I had been struggling with itchiness while using Givenchy foundation, even though it didn't cause breakouts... but with Weightless, there's no discomfort at all! (For reference, my skin is currently extremely sensitive due to acne medication!) The first photo shows my mask after work in the evening! The second photo compares the color with my Givenchy foundation in shade 23!
ConsDryness: As I have very oily but dehydrated skin, I felt a slight tightness! At first, I tried applying a soothing cream underneath due to the dryness, but it caused the foundation to separate. However, using an emulsion with some oil content worked well! I think using a nourishing sheet mask the night before would also help! Coverage: It seems like foundations with good ingredients always have limitations in coverage. The texture is very thin, and while it has a yellow base, there's an ivory undertone that makes covering redness a bit challenging.
TipFor those using shade 23, if you buy Weightless in W01, you can use it as a highlighter for great results! Especially on the T-zone! It controls oil and gives a highlighting effect! (Not recommended for dry skin types!)
