- The biggest advantage and brand identity is being a mildly acidic, low-irritation, eco-friendly vegan cosmetic. - It's multifunctional, offering benefits like collagen and antioxidants. - The ingredients and packaging are appealing and inspire a certain level of trust. - As someone who uses toners liberally, the price is astronomical. - Since we don't use just one skincare product, having too many functions in one can make it tricky to use with other products. It also increases the chance of causing blemishes, making it hard to justify buying with my own money. While this product might be an excellent choice for those who find it suitable and value its ethos, as someone not particularly interested in vegan products, I can't say it holds much appeal beyond its pretty, recyclable packaging. Lately, I've been feeling uneasy about products that don't come in transparent containers, which makes this even less attractive to me. - ya*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2022
1) It's vegan, 2) gentle on the skin, 3) deeply hydrating, and 4) has a texture that seems suitable for everyone Small amount, high price... If the value for money was better, I'd really make this a staple in my routine - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedOct 26, 2022
I loved that this toner felt more like a nourishing essence rather than just plain water. Hmm... If I had to find something to improve? I guess a larger size would be nice, but honestly, I couldn't find any real drawbacks. You can feel the nourishment even when applied with a cotton pad. I also tried soaking a sheet mask in it, and it was absolutely fantastic! - wl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedOct 2, 2022
★ I love that the brand itself is committed to ongoing environmental protection and charitable activities. Knowing that part of the sales proceeds goes towards sponsoring milk for children in Togo, Africa, makes me feel like I'm contributing to a good cause while purchasing skincare. That's why I bought and tried the entire Color Food series skincare line (cleansing balm, toner, cream, serum) before writing this review. ★ As a vegan brand that sources all its ingredients from nature, the eco-friendly packaging and Color Food clean beauty concept really shine through. When I received the delivery, I was impressed by the environmentally friendly paper and PCR containers made from recycled plastic - perfectly aligned with the clean beauty ethos. 𖤐 If you have dry and sensitive skin and are looking for a gentle, slightly acidic toner, pay attention! The Red Remedy toner has a pH of 5.3, which helps stabilize the skin barrier. Unlike regular toners that use a lot of purified water, this To:Be:Gan toner contains 83.9% hibiscus extract instead, which helps brighten the complexion. 𖤐 The water-like texture allows for a light, non-sticky application. I've found it works great as an exfoliating toner or skin pack when used with a cotton pad, making it perfect for hydration. If you have dry skin like me, you'll probably enjoy using this year-round. 𖤐 This Red Remedy toner has completely changed my mind about Centella Asiatica being the only answer for soothing skin. When used as a toner pack, I noticed my skin tone looked a bit brighter. The high vitamin C content not only calms the skin but also seems to improve makeup application after thorough absorption. If you're looking for a toner that both soothes and refines skin texture, I highly recommend the 'Color Food Series Red Remedy Toner'. 𖤐 The 150ml bottle runs out quickly when used for both morning and evening skincare routines, as well as for masking. I hope it becomes popular enough to warrant a larger size option. Spread the word about To:Be:Gan! - kd****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 3, 2022
- Absorbs well without feeling slippery, making it pleasant to use - Easily compatible with other skincare products - The opaque red packaging makes it impossible to see how much product is left inside - ro*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 16, 2022
This toner is gentle and hydrating, fulfilling its role perfectly. It's versatile enough to apply with hands, cotton pads, or even as a mask - all three methods work well. The texture is water-like, but when applied by hand, you can feel a slight moisturizing effect. It's ideal for those seeking light hydration with a weightless formula. The opaque container makes it difficult to see how much product is left, which is a bit disappointing. - lo*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 17, 2021
Although it felt slightly sticky at first, it absorbed well and didn't leave a tacky feeling. Even with my sensitive skin, I found it comfortable to use as an exfoliating toner. On days when my skin wasn't at its best, it worked great as a skin pack too. I'm already close to finishing a whole bottle, and I can't really think of any downsides during my use. - gy*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 9, 2021
Everyone seems to be raving about the simple yet beautiful packaging! With the entire basic skincare line laid out, my vanity feels like it's been decorated with cosmetics, haha! Getting to the point, I have sensitive combination skin. Given the gentle ingredients, I trusted it and tried it out. Fortunately, it didn't cause any blemishes on my face. The scent is really lovely too - not irritating or artificial, but more like a sweet tea fragrance. Usually, toners are just purified water plus something extra, but To Be Gan's toner uses hibiscus extract instead of purified water, which makes me think it's a truly robust toner. It has a water-like texture, so I used it as a toner pack to cool down after exercising. It was effective in soothing my skin! As the brand itself aims for vegan products, I'd like to recommend this to my friends who are just starting their vegan journey! If there's anything to be disappointed about because it's so good, it might be the price...? But it's currently on sale! - re****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 17, 2021
This product is truly amazing. With other toners, I'd wake up with an oily face and need to use a cleanser in the morning. But with this To Be Gan toner, I only need to rinse with water. It leaves just the right amount of moisture without needing foam cleansers, which seems to promote a healthy skin cycle. My sister, who has a lot of blemishes, is also using it and finds it non-irritating and effective. There's nothing bad to say. I'm genuinely satisfied using this product. The To Be Gan cream is great too! It comes in a mint-colored container. It's a lightweight cream that still provides excellent hydration. - ky*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 17, 2021
I received the Vegan2 Color Food Series Remy Remedy Toner as a gift and tried it without much thought. I liked the Vegan Toner more, but the cute red packaging made me want to give this one a try. It's a water-type toner with a scent that might be hit or miss for some. I've been using it for a week now, and while nothing else in my routine has changed, my skin feels incredibly smooth, like a peeled egg, with no texture. I notice the difference every morning when I cleanse. In all my years of trying countless skincare products, from high-end to budget-friendly, I've never experienced such a noticeable change in skin texture. The dead skin cells that used to make my skin feel bumpy have disappeared, leaving behind truly smooth skin. It's a shame the bottle isn't larger. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm amazed to see such results from just one toner. It provides a decent level of hydration too. Please make a larger size and lower the price a bit!
