Cons.....It causes blemishes.. Usually, products with charcoal target oily or combination skin, but shea butter too? That's odd.... Isn't shea butter typically found in more moisturizing lines? The combination of charcoal and shea butter seems like a mistake.... I get blemishes from shea butter and stearic acid, and to think they're in this charcoal soap. Even though I have oily skin, it's incredibly drying right after use. The deep dryness is no joke. Other products weren't this bad.. ......Thankfully it was gratis. I'd be really upset if I had paid for this..
TipThose whose skin reacts to shea butter with blemishes should avoid using this. I'll be using it as a cleaning rag.

I wouldn't buy it even if someone held a knife to my throat.
ConsI never thought I'd leave a review like this for a Sidmool product. This makes my skin super dry. It really tightens up, like someone's playing tug-of-war with my skin. It doesn't even improve my skin. I only used it in the evenings but got scared and stopped. It's just sitting there now because I feel bad wasting it. Maybe I'll use it to wash rags, haha.
TipThe best tip is not to use it at all. It's the first time I've tried a cosmetic product this bad.

The scent is pleasantly nutty and appealing. Affordable price point. Excellent cleansing effectiveness.
ConsExtremely drying. It leaves my pores so parched that it becomes itchy, and even moisturizing doesn't help. I usually handle alkaline foam cleansers well, but this one is unusable for me. I gave up using it on my face and tried it for body washing in the shower, but it was still too drying. I resorted to using it just for hand washing, but after a few uses, my fingertips became painfully irritated with a burning sensation. I decided to stop using it on any part of my body. Now I use it to clean my makeup brushes, which works great. Given its good ingredients and strong cleansing power, I'd give it 5 stars as a brush cleanser.
TipI strongly caution those with dry skin against using this product.

Not only has it reduced dead skin cells, but those pesky blemishes that used to pop up regularly have stopped appearing. What is this magic that's making my skin so much better? I'm still amazed!
ConsGiven it's winter, there's quite a bit of deep dryness after cleansing! You'll need to pay extra attention to hydration.
TipI was going to share a tip about using the soap holder I received as a gift, but I see it's already mentioned on the website.
