Cleanses thoroughly with excellent cleansing effectiveness. I used it for body washing and found it particularly suitable for summer use. The strong cleansing power might lead to dryness. I was a bit disappointed that it contains fragrances. - du*********Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2022
The cleansing effectiveness is exceptionally good. I really appreciated that it has almost no scent. It's excellent value for money. Because of its strong cleansing power, it can leave the skin feeling a bit dry after use. Since it's a natural soap, it dissolves easily in water. Instead of using a whole bar at once, try cutting it in half to make it last longer. - mo***Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 13, 2021
It's fantastic! It really helps with body blemishes. Even when used on the face, it doesn't compromise the skin barrier. Nothing special about it. I just think of it as soap with charcoal in it. - tp*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJan 31, 2021
When I use it, I feel like my pores are getting a thorough cleanse As I continue to use it, the appearance becomes less appealing... However, using a soap dish can help it last longer - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2020
I initially received Sidmool products as gratis and loved them, so now I make sure to stock up and purchase them regularly. On days when I wear makeup, I use it for my second cleanse after deep cleansing. On makeup-free days, I only use the charcoal soap for cleansing. While other soaps tend to cause blemishes around my menstrual cycle, I've noticed significantly fewer breakouts since using the charcoal soap. I have extremely dry skin, and I find that I need to use Sidmool's Camellia Skin Emulsion to prevent deep dryness. As for the handmade soap, the only downside is that it tends to soften quickly, which is typical for this type of product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedNov 30, 2020
It temporarily brightens the face and completely eliminates excess oil. Leaves skin feeling squeaky clean yet moisturized. Great for oily skin types. Unfortunately, it softens too easily. Even when placed on a soap holder, it tends to fall off. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 20, 2020
The scent is more pleasant to use compared to regular soaps... It's not as good as natural soaps, not that great... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 24, 2020
Sidmool soaps generally seem to be great across the board. Even with my super sensitive skin, I find the charcoal one works really well for me. The only minor issue is that it softens quickly in the summer heat, but that's about it. - dn****Normal SkinJun 9, 2020
True to its name, charcoal is listed as one of the top ingredients in this charcoal soap! This soap leaves my skin extremely dry and tight. To make matters worse, it causes a tingling sensation! I thought natural soap would be good for my skin, so I used it to cleanse my face, but it left my skin incredibly tight, dry, and irritated. Not wanting to waste it, I tried using it as a body wash, but it irritated my body skin too. I then decided to use it just for washing hands, which was a bit better, but still caused slight irritation. It seems there must be some ingredient in it that doesn't agree with my skin. - sw*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2020
The scent is better than typical handmade soaps. It leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean after washing. It can be drying. It's not as good as some other lesser-known handmade soaps.
