* This is a review from The Hwahae Testers * (Usage period: 12/15/21 - 12/23/21) Skin type: Combination, acne-prone skin Texture/Scent: The texture is slightly thick but runny. It's not suitable for the '7-skin method', but it's good for spreading or applying with a cotton pad. The scent is not strong, just a faint cosmetic smell that isn't bothersome. Absorption: It absorbs quite quickly, but leaves a slightly sticky feeling. Moisturizing power: Even one application provides significant hydration! In summer, layering it two or three times should be enough. In winter, you'll definitely need to follow up with a cream. Skin improvement: I haven't used it long enough to see if it's improved my skin, but it hasn't caused any major issues. I think it's because ingredients like panthenol and centella asiatica have always worked well for me. The moisturizing power is both a strength and a weakness. As I have combination dehydrated skin, there's a risk of my skin feeling dry underneath while getting oily on top. It seems like after applying this toner and then a cream, my skin tends to get oily more easily...! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 23, 2021
☆My skin type > Combination dehydrated skin, mixed (oily T-zone, dry around the mouth), problem skin > As winter approached, my combination dehydrated skin started to feel dry. So I began using Round*Lab's Dokdo Toner in autumn. I'll review it in comparison. ☆ Texture > It has that typical toner consistency. Not too viscous, not too watery - somewhere in between. + The pump bottle feels hygienic. With the Dokdo Toner, I had to transfer it to a spray bottle, but the Dermashare dispenses neatly. ☆Application > As expected for a toner, it applies smoothly and evenly. The Dokdo Toner is more watery, giving that characteristic tight, squeaky-clean feeling. Dermashare glides on like a light ampoule or emulsion. ☆Hydration > It feels quite rich. As many reviewers noted, it's sufficient as an 'all-in-one' winter product for combination dehydrated or mildly dry skin types. With the Dokdo Toner, my mouth area still felt dry even after two layers. Dermashare completely solved this issue! ☆ Hydration > The hydration is so intense that despite being a toner, it may feel 'heavy' for combination or oily skin types. I applied cream afterwards thinking it was just a toner, and my skin felt too weighed down. I don't think I'll use it often in summer. ☆ Finish > Being a rich product, it leaves quite a shine even with one layer. At first, I thought it was due to poor absorption, but the slight stickiness and shine remained even after some time, which was disappointing. ☆ Soothing effect > I have a lot of redness from acne scars, but I didn't see much improvement in this area. With brands like Dr.Jart+ or Madecassol, I saw immediate (though not lasting) relief, but I didn't experience that here. Long-term effects remain to be seen, but I found this aspect lacking. > For dry areas, cut a cotton pad to size, soak it generously with the toner, and place it on your face. This completely resolves any dryness.
