ConsI recommend using this product sparingly rather than for extended periods. When I first used it, I definitely noticed it controlled oil and made my skin feel smoother. Thinking it suited me well, I continued using it, but then my skin reacted badly. Several hard, cystic blemishes formed, feeling like stubborn sebum was trapped in my pores.
TipNot recommended for those with sensitive or combination dehydrated skin. I suggest occasional use for those with oily skin types, but definitely not daily.

This cream truly lives up to its name as a spot treatment. While I'm not sure about its wrinkle-reducing effects, when used in synergy with a hydrating moisturizer, it noticeably improves overall skin texture and complexion. The cream absorbs well without feeling too rich, and it's moisturizing. It's so easy to use that even lazy skincare enthusiasts will be motivated to keep up their home care routine. My skin is definitely improving! Another great thing is that it's a dual-function product for both anti-aging and brightening. When you buy the larger size on sale, you can use it generously without worrying about the cost.
ConsAfter double cleansing in the evening, applying a generous amount can cause a burning sensation with heat and irritation.
TipSince retinol quickly breaks down when exposed to sunlight, reducing its effectiveness, it's best to apply it mainly in the evening. In the morning, use only a small amount and cover it with sunscreen for protection.

Recommended for evening use. Has a fluid texture that doesn't leave a drying sensation after application. Doesn't make skin feel tight. On days when my skin is in great condition, it seems to absorb even better. Since it's not for daily use, it's actually perfect for someone like me who often forgets. Interestingly, I noticed it helps calm redness.
ConsWhat? I have relatively thin skin and even Retinol was okay for me, but this caused so many blemishes I felt compelled to write a review. I couldn't understand it. I'd rather apply ointment instead.
TipThe product seems to have varying effects on different skin types. While some users find it beneficial for absorption and redness reduction, others experience adverse reactions like breakouts. It's important to patch test and consider your skin's sensitivity before using this product regularly.

The cream's absorption and application are quite nice.
ConsUnfortunately, it caused some blemishes and a bit of itching, which is disappointing. I was told it might not suit my skin at first, so I took a break and tried again, but as you can see in the photo, I got small bumps... To make matters worse, it's also itchy. I'm planning to stop using it for now.
TipAs someone with super sensitive skin, it's crucial to patch test new products and introduce them gradually. If you experience any burning sensation or allergic reaction, discontinue use immediately and consult a dermatologist. Remember, what works for others may not work for you, so listen to your skin!

How delightful to find a retinol in a pump bottle! Since retinol is sensitive to light and air, it's crucial to protect it. Unlike droppers that require frequent opening, this airless pump packaging is fantastic. What's even better is that there's no tingling sensation, making it really pleasant to use. Previous retinols I've tried caused immediate irritation, but this one feels as gentle as applying a pencil - no issues at all. I'm very satisfied!
ConsI guess retinol just doesn't work for me... Once again, this product caused more textured bumps on my skin. While others say their skin texture improves, why does mine get worse? I hope these aren't milia...
TipAs it's often recommended for retinol beginners, the concentration isn't too high, making it suitable for most people to try at least once.

I got a sample of the Innisfree serum with the same concentration and gave it a shot... haha
ConsU-zone: The next day, both of my cheeks were incredibly red. Red blemishes popped up here and there... Ugh. It claims to have cica ingredients, but it didn't seem to have any soothing effect at all. This really didn't work for me. Make sure to patch test before using it fully. T-zone: My previous serum was great at controlling sebum, but with this one, my skin was just as oily the next day. Apart from making my skin sensitive, I'm not even sure if it had any positive effects.

I loved the smooth application and lightweight texture of this product.
ConsFirst off, I didn't notice any improvement in my pores or skin texture while using this. Most importantly, I don't usually get blemishes, but this product caused breakouts. I stopped using it for a few days, then tried again, but the blemishes returned, so I had to discontinue use completely.

The texture feels sticky yet moisturizing when applied!
ConsI guess retinol doesn't agree with me... My face broke out badly when I used it, and when I tried it on my back, it caused a terrible reaction too. I had high hopes since I heard it was famous as an entry-level retinol product, but I'm disappointed. I really wish retinol worked well for me...

ConsI used just a tiny amount, about the size of a bean, for only one day. The very next day, I broke out in huge, inflamed blemishes all over my cheeks and nose. I couldn't make it to the dermatologist, so I left it untreated. Now, a year later, I still have marks from those blemishes.

The photo shows the mini product that came with the full-size as part of a promotion. I've been testing it for over 3 months to give it a thorough trial :) ✨Skin brightening Rather than a tone-up effect, I feel like my overall complexion has become more radiant! I've even received compliments on my improved skin tone, so I don't think it's just my imagination haha. ✨Pores? I used to have a habit of touching my face often, which led to enlarged pores. While this product doesn't seem to shrink them dramatically, it does appear to prevent them from getting bigger or more noticeable! To be honest, I'm not sure if they've slightly decreased in size or not, so I'll need to use it longer to determine any improvements. ✨Texture improvement With my combination dehydrated skin, I usually struggle with dryness and oiliness during seasonal changes. However, after adjusting to this product, my skin texture hasn't severely deteriorated or broken out. I've also noticed that my makeup applies more smoothly! While I initially started using this for its pore-refining effects, I've seen more improvements in my skin tone and texture! Even with sensitive skin, I feel it's worth giving it a try. I wanted to share this review before opening the full-size product. I hope this helps those with combination dehydrated and sensitive skin who are considering trying retinol...
ConsWhen I first used it, I applied less than half a pump mixed with my moisturizer, but my face still turned red and I got small bubble-like bumps near my brow area ㅠㅠ So I stopped using it for over two weeks... After taking a break and allowing my skin to recover, I started using it again. This time, I mixed about 1/4 of my usual amount of moisturizer, and while there was still a slight tingling sensation, it was much more tolerable! I began by using it twice a week, gradually increasing the amount and frequency. Now I'm able to apply it alone every other day, and I'm completely satisfied! Even now, there's a bit of itchiness right after application, but since nothing breaks out or hurts, I plan to continue using it.
TipFor those with very sensitive skin, I recommend testing it two or three times with rest periods in between before committing to regular use. Start with an incredibly small amount mixed into your moisturizer - so little that you might think 'Is this even enough?' It's better to start cautiously!
