  After using the carrot pads, I heard the ampoule was good too, so I wanted to try it out. I bought it and found that it smells exactly like the toner in the carrot pads, and the hydration seems similar as well. ✔️Texture First off, it's an ampoule but with a thin consistency, making it great for smoothing out skin texture right after cleansing. It's lightweight, but packs a punch of hydration, which helps makeup apply beautifully. It absorbs well into the skin and seems like it would be better for winter than summer. ✔️Hydration When you put the carrot pads on your skin, it feels incredibly moisturized. But this ampoule takes it a step further - when you apply it, you can feel the moisture being deeply absorbed into your skin. If you layer it thinly twice, it creates a perfect base for makeup and feels amazing. ✨Overall Review✨ I have dry and sensitive skin, but I've never experienced any blemishes with this product. It also has a calming effect, making it a perfect match for me. The entire carrot line is generally gentle and non-irritating, making this ampoule an ideal basic item for anyone to use. It's become a staple in my daily skincare routine!

  1. I like that the scent isn't overpowering (it's subtle, so it's less overwhelming). 2. When applying, it feels just like water. Although it's an ampoule, you can apply it as lightly as a toner, making it great for combination dehydrated skin or oily skin types. 3. It's also great to use as a first step, like a toner-essence. 4. This is my first time using a skincare product with carrot extract, and I'm not experiencing any blemishes. 5. There's no tingling sensation. 6. It doesn't cause sensitivity to redness or flushing, and actually has a soothing effect, which I love.

  Cons

  Since I have oily skin, it feels a bit itchy. More importantly, after applying and patting to absorb, there's a distinctive slipperiness and shine that I'm not fond of. It feels itchy when I apply makeup over it.

  Pros

  I have acne-prone skin with redness and deep dryness all at once. I started using the sample effector that comes with the carrot pads I buy daily, and it was so soothing that I ended up purchasing the full-size product. It's incredibly lightweight with excellent absorption, making it perfect to apply before acne ointments or tea tree oil. This effector seems suitable for all skin types, but I especially recommend it for oily, combination, and combination dehydrated skin. The texture and scent are unlikely to be polarizing.

  I couldn't find any drawbacks with this product. The Skinfood carrot series is truly impressive.

  Tip

  I often use it to reduce skin heat, so I always keep it in the refrigerator and take it out when I need to apply it. Using it cold not only helps reduce skin irritation but also feels refreshing.

  It goes on quite thick, but after application it feels bouncy, moisturizing, and absorbs lightly. It has that same hydrating sensation as the Skinfood Carrot Pads. When you apply makeup after using this effector, it adheres beautifully.

  Cons

  There wasn't anything particularly disappointing, but in summer it might feel a bit sticky and heavy, which could be a drawback.

  I have super sensitive skin, but this didn't sting at all when I applied it! I need something that absorbs quickly in the morning when I'm in a rush, and this one sinks in fast after patting it a few times. The best part? It's not sticky at all! It glides on so lightly, like it's flowing over your skin.

  Cons

  After it absorbs, there's a slightly oily film left behind. It doesn't make you look shiny, but rather gives an Inner Glow feel. Even if you rub it, it doesn't pill or transfer to your hands. However, while it feels a bit oily at the end, it doesn't really provide deep hydration. I tried layering more for extra moisture, but it just made my skin feel oilier without adding much hydration. I think this would be good for those wanting nourishment or for dry skin in winter. Not recommended for oily, combination dehydrated, or extremely dry skin types.

  Tip

  The scent is slightly green and forest-like, so avoid it if you don't like that kind of fragrance. (Personally, I found the scent lovely and relaxing!)

  There's not really anything to complain about, but it's a bit runny so it occasionally gets in my eyes. However, if you control the amount well, it's fine.

  Absorbs well: It has a rich texture yet applies lightly and refreshingly. Great for sensitive skin as it's soothing. Absorbs quickly: The absorption speed is really fast. It absorbs quickly, reducing the feeling of dryness. Fragrance: It's fragrance-free. Redness and blemishes: Unlike products that don't suit my skin or are too strong, which can cause irritation, this product is gentle and doesn't upset my skin.

  There are no downsides! I absolutely recommend this. If you have dry skin, you must try it.
