  After using the carrot pads, I heard the ampoule was good too, so I wanted to try it out. I bought it and found that it smells exactly like the toner in the carrot pads, and the hydration seems similar as well. ✔️Texture First off, it's an ampoule but with a thin consistency, making it great for smoothing out skin texture right after cleansing. It's lightweight, but packs a punch of hydration, which helps makeup apply beautifully. It absorbs well into the skin and seems like it would be better for winter than summer. ✔️Hydration When you put the carrot pads on your skin, it feels incredibly moisturized. But this ampoule takes it a step further - when you apply it, you can feel the moisture being deeply absorbed into your skin. If you layer it thinly twice, it creates a perfect base for makeup and feels amazing. ✨Overall Review✨ I have dry and sensitive skin, but I've never experienced any blemishes with this product. It also has a calming effect, making it a perfect match for me. The entire carrot line is generally gentle and non-irritating, making this ampoule an ideal basic item for anyone to use. It's become a staple in my daily skincare routine!

  While the carrot pads stay on for 5 minutes, allowing for better moisture absorption, with the ampoule you need to pat it in completely for the best hydration results.

  As someone with oily skin, I don't typically prefer heavy serums. This one, however, feels lightweight and seems to address my deep dryness. I'm really enjoying using it.

  As expected, the trusty Skinfood Carrot line delivers! It applies smoothly with great absorption, making it perfect for my dehydrated skin. I highly recommend this product to anyone dealing with deep dryness.

  Pros

  I have acne-prone skin with redness and deep dryness all at once. I started using the sample effector that comes with the carrot pads I buy daily, and it was so soothing that I ended up purchasing the full-size product. It's incredibly lightweight with excellent absorption, making it perfect to apply before acne ointments or tea tree oil. This effector seems suitable for all skin types, but I especially recommend it for oily, combination, and combination dehydrated skin. The texture and scent are unlikely to be polarizing.

  Cons

  I couldn't find any drawbacks with this product. The Skinfood carrot series is truly impressive.

  Tip

  I often use it to reduce skin heat, so I always keep it in the refrigerator and take it out when I need to apply it. Using it cold not only helps reduce skin irritation but also feels refreshing.

  Pros

  I repurchased this carrot pad and soothing hydration ampoule 🥕 When my skin became extremely dry in winter and my makeup base was flaking, I used this ampoule to help it set. That's why I bought it again! While the carrot pad felt like a 3:3:3 ratio of moisture+soothing+hydration, this effector seemed more like hydration>moisture>soothing in that order. It's not an amazing product, but one I find myself reaching for often! The texture is light and refreshing. Oily skin types can use it alone, while other skin types might need to follow up with a cream or moisturizer to prevent dryness. My skin type changes frequently, so I used it all year round, sometimes mixing it with other products and sometimes using it alone. I always finish my skincare routine with sunscreen, so when I applied just this and followed with a hydrating sunscreen, I didn't experience any dryness or blemishes, which is why I kept using it. It has a slight medicinal scent, but it disappears quickly.

  Those with dry skin can mix it with other products, but they might still feel some dryness.

  It didn't irritate my skin even when my skin barrier was compromised. Despite its runny texture, it provides surprisingly good hydration. Highly recommended for sensitive, oily skin types!

  The only downside is the packaging. I'd prefer a pump dispenser over the dropper bottle.

  I started with the carrot pads and found that the carrot toner and ampoule all suit me well. I love how they feel on my skin. The texture is great, and even though I have combination dehydrated skin, it keeps my skin hydrated and prevents that dry feeling after cleansing. The ampoule absorbs well and feels amazing.

  It's gentle and absorbs quickly. For combination dehydrated skin, when it's really dry, it's great to layer it twice. I love how it doesn't feel sticky, absorbs cleanly, and provides excellent hydration.

  As it's an ampoule, it's a bit disappointing that it becomes hard to dispense with the dropper when you're nearing the end of the product.

  ✓ Hydration Oh my goodness, it's incredibly moisturizing. I mean, seriously, it's not that oily kind of moisturizing, but genuine hydration! ✓ No acne or blemishes This says it all... It's truly an ampoule that's packed with hydration and nothing else! ✓ In my opinion, this ampoule is the 'real deal' compared to pads. It tackles deep dryness so well, I'm in love with it.
