I used this after a dermatological procedure (blemish and mole removal) on the pharmacist's recommendation. It seems quite effective on areas where blemishes and moles were removed. The treated areas look clean and clear! It's gentle and works well. If you apply it again after a short while, sometimes it doesn't absorb well and can pill like dead skin cells. I only applied this after my blemish removal procedure. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 25, 2023
It's great for hydration and doesn't feel sticky at all The quantity is a bit small, and it doesn't absorb well in some areas, which is disappointing - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 29, 2021
The ointment-like texture is incredibly moisturizing even with a small amount, and I felt like it really strengthened my skin barrier. I loved the unique formulation! It tends to pill a bit. The absorption isn't perfect, and sometimes it rolls off like dead skin cells. Due to its rich texture, you should only apply a small amount. I recommend using it at night. When I applied it during the day and put makeup on top, it tended to pill unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2021
- First off, I have oily skin prone to whiteheads and frequent inflammation. In winter, despite being oily, my skin gets extremely dry and irritated due to cold weather allergies. While using this product, I continued with my usual Anua toner and emulsion routine, along with Mediheal's Tea Tree Biome Blemish Cica Ampoule. - I've tried similar products from Dr. Jart+ and Avène's Cicalfate cream before. However, both seemed to work initially but ended up causing more inflammatory blemishes over time. So, I started using this product with a bit of apprehension. - Being a pharmaceutical company product, it felt more trustworthy than typical cosmetics. The cream is quite rich, so I applied it thinly in small amounts for better absorption. Fortunately, it suited my skin well without causing any adverse reactions. - I appreciated the tube packaging and used a cotton swab to dispense the product. The amount was easy to control, which was a plus. - I mainly applied this to areas where I had popped blemishes and the skin felt raw. Before using this, those areas would often form thin scabs that kept peeling, causing oozing. True to its skin barrier strengthening claim, this product prevented scab peeling and oozing, leading to faster wound healing! - I think it's great value for money! For a skin barrier strengthening product, the quantity is generous. - I'm quite sensitive to scents and can't use perfumes, hair products, or body products with strong fragrances. While this product doesn't have an overpowering scent, it did have a peculiar smell when applied. It made me wonder, 'What's that smell...?' - Like many rich creams, when applied generously to my oily skin, it felt greasy and didn't absorb well. - Since the product isn't particularly lightweight, I recommend using it as a final step in your nighttime routine rather than in the morning. Also, instead of applying a thick layer, it's best to use small amounts and spread it thinly for better absorption. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2021
I got to try this as part of The Hwahae Testers program. I have extremely sensitive, oily skin prone to blemishes, so I'm usually very cautious about changing my skincare routine. However, I decided to give this a shot since it's from a reputable pharmaceutical company. First off, I'm thrilled to report that it didn't cause any breakouts at all - that's already a win in my book! The texture is quite rich, and after using it overnight, I noticed my skin texture had improved significantly. It even seems to make my makeup apply more smoothly! The consistency is very thick, almost like an ointment, so it's not ideal as a pre-makeup moisturizer. I found it worked best as the final step in my nighttime routine. When I tried using it before applying makeup, it took too long to absorb, which was inconvenient. Apart from this issue, I was quite satisfied with the product. When I applied a bit more than usual before bed, it felt like I'd done an overnight sleeping mask treatment! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2021
Effectiveness: This cream is exceptional for dry winter air! I've been using the Repair Cream for about a week, and I truly didn't feel any dryness. Even with my super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. I'm definitely willing to keep using it! Texture: It has a rich consistency that feels substantial on the skin with a thick texture. Because of this, it doesn't evaporate quickly from the skin. It maintains hydration for a long time and doesn't pill or clump. Tip: I applied it like an ointment, only on areas that needed it. I put it on areas where the skin is thin, like around the eyes, nasolabial folds, and neck wrinkles. Since it's good for improving wrinkles, I focused on those areas. It felt great to have that moisturized feeling lasting for so long! Due to its thick consistency, some people might find the texture heavy when applying. It tends to sit on the skin rather than absorb quickly, so there might be concerns about pilling if you apply makeup over it. I recommend using it after cleansing in the evening. I found this great product while my skin was sensitive from mask friction. It's excellent for strengthening the skin barrier and improving wrinkles, so it's best to apply it as the final step in your skincare routine. The price is also very reasonable. I hope to become a beauty by consistently using this great product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 23, 2021
◾Skin Type - My skin is combination dehydrated, with an oily T-zone and dry U-zone. - I have super sensitive skin that tends to puff up like a bread man when using unsuitable products, so I prefer a matte finish. ◾Packaging The tube format is great for hygiene as you can squeeze it directly onto your skin or the back of your hand. It's easy to use up to the last drop and convenient to carry around. ◾Texture The thick, ointment-like texture is perfect for those with extremely dry skin. Unlike thinner creams, it not only provides hydration but also locks in moisture, which is very satisfying. ◾Ingredients As our skin becomes more sensitive due to mask-wearing, it's important to use gentle products. Being a pharmacy cosmetic, it caused no allergic reactions or blemishes on my sensitive skin. It contains Fusidium coccineum, which has the same origin as the Fusidic acid component, known for its skin regeneration properties - living up to its 'Repair Cream' name. After using it for about 5 days, I noticed a significant reduction in skin redness, which had been a concern due to mask-related skin issues. ◾Moisturizing Power Thanks to its rich texture, it definitely keeps the skin from feeling dry. When applied at night, my skin feels soft and supple in the morning. ◾Scent It's fragrance-free, though there's a slight scent from the ingredients themselves. I used it without any discomfort. I appreciated that it's unscented. As I have combination dehydrated skin, the thick, ointment-like texture felt a bit heavy for me, leaving a slightly greasy feeling after application. Due to its rich texture, it takes some time to absorb. If applied hastily before makeup, it can sometimes cause pilling. For those with combination dehydrated skin like mine, I recommend applying a small amount as part of your night care routine. You'll wake up to soft, supple skin in the morning. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 20, 2021
The packaging is in a tube form like an ointment, making it much more hygienic than creams you scoop out. It's also easy to control the amount you use since it doesn't dispense too much at once! True to its gentle nature, this cream is fragrance-free. It contains Fusidium coccineum, the same ingredient used in Fucidin ointment - a first in Korea - which is said to be great for improving the skin barrier. The texture isn't too runny, but it's not a thick, rich formula either. When you spread it out and pat it in, it absorbs perfectly without sitting on top of the skin. Best of all, it doesn't leave any sticky residue, which I love! I've even tried using it as a moisturizer before makeup. After a while, I noticed that it gave a subtle glow to my matte foundation, making my skin look beautiful. It seems like it would work well as part of a makeup routine too. As for the most important aspects - its soothing effect and ability to strengthen the moisture barrier - I'd give it 100 stars if I could! I had blemishes around my mouth and cheeks from wearing a mask all day, but after applying this generously at night, the redness was almost gone by morning. With consistent use morning and evening, my skin feels hydrated, retains moisture for longer, and my blemishes are under control. I'm extremely satisfied with this product! Since it's not a lightweight formula, it doesn't absorb immediately upon application. You need to pat it in several times for complete absorption, which takes a bit of time. But other than that, I'm very satisfied! I've tried using it not just on my face, but also on my dry hands as a hand cream substitute. My dry, irritated skin calmed down as the cream absorbed, and the bumps disappeared! Given its gentle and beneficial ingredients, it works well wherever you apply it. However, since it's only 50ml, you might use it up quickly. It might be a good idea to stock up in advance!
