  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. What I liked: First off, I really appreciate that the Slow Therapy toner is a vegan cosmetic product. It feels like it's been thoughtfully crafted. With its gentle ingredients and eucalyptus, it has a subtle, pleasant herbal scent that I quite enjoy. Another plus is that the toner contains ingredients that help with brightening and improving wrinkles. I'm impressed with the overall ingredient composition. It's a lightweight toner-essence that leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed. Texture and application: As someone who prefers watery toners and dislikes stickiness, this product really suits me. If you're not a fan of watery toners, you might not enjoy it as much. Being a water-based formula, it works great as an exfoliating toner or when applied generously with a cotton pad as a pre-makeup mask. It has a good calming effect and absorbs quickly. Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any tingling sensation. Hydration: Being a toner-essence hybrid, it provides good hydration. I layered it multiple times, and it left my skin feeling moisturized without any stickiness. However, as I have extremely dry skin, I still needed to follow up with an ampoule and cream. Other points: The packaging design is cute.

  Drawbacks: I didn't really find any significant drawbacks, but if I had to pick something, those who are sensitive to scents might not like the natural herbal fragrance. However, it's not a strong scent.

  Pros

  1. You can really feel your skin improving! It feels so soft and smooth. Most importantly, with the weather suddenly becoming very dry, it gives a deep, quenching hydration to the skin. Because of this, I think I've been using it more than my usual toner. 2. The scent is just right! It doesn't smell too much like cosmetics, but has a slight essence fragrance that's not overwhelming, which I really love.

  Cons

  I didn't notice any 'calming' effect on redness, only felt the 'essence' for dryness.

  Tip

  If you apply it generously three times, it feels like it's enough on its own even in summer. Make sure to apply it at least three times!

  Pros

  As someone with acne-prone, combination dehydrated skin, I prefer toners that don't leave my skin feeling tight after application. This product, despite its water-like consistency, surprised me positively. I initially thought it might be drying, but it turned out to be quite nice. Depending on my skin's condition, I sometimes needed to layer it, though. I'm usually sensitive to strong, artificial, perfume-like scents, but this one has a fresh aroma when applied. If you enjoy green, nature-inspired fragrances, you'll find this scent mood-lifting every time you use it! The bottle is incredibly... cute! I tend to reach more often for cosmetics with attractive packaging designs. I really like the rounded, minimalist shape of this one.

  Cons

  When applying this to skin with many blemishes, it can cause an overall tingling sensation. It's not unbearable, but it does sting and irritate to a noticeable degree.

  The Hwahae Testers Review: I've been using this product for a few days and wanted to share my thoughts. As a new mom with a baby under a year old, it's not easy to find time for skincare. But with winter approaching and my skin texture needing some TLC, I'm determined to get back into my routine. The scent is subtle - I usually prefer unscented toners, so I appreciated the gentle, relaxing aroma. It's almost like a mild lavender that's perfect for unwinding before bed when you're feeling tired. Texture-wise, it might feel a bit light for winter, but I personally prefer toners that aren't too heavy, so I loved it. I also pay attention to product design, and after seeing so many tall, slim toner bottles, this chubby, cute design really caught my eye!

  As mentioned earlier, the texture isn't super rich or skin-hugging like some toners. The light feel might be a bit disappointing for winter use. This might only be a downside for those used to more oil-rich toners. Like most toners, it has a fresh, light texture.
