I highly recommend applying it to blemishes that haven't come to a head yet!
ConsBe careful when applying it to pimples with pus. While it does remove the pus, I noticed it left my pores looking damaged, almost like small craters in my skin. Use caution when applying to areas with active acne.

However, it's not effective for large inflammatory blemishes that need quick treatment, which can actually lead to them spreading more easily if not addressed promptly. Recommended for: Those with baby-soft skin or extremely sensitive skin that reacts to everything, who haven't been able to use acne patches, spot treatments, or ointments. This can be a great alternative! ___________ Review Starts Here ___________ The pros and cons are very clear! It's a product with a distinct identity, making it easy to recommend to people who really need it! (I've recommended it to 2 people who are using it well.) My skin is combination dehydrated, prone to small bumps and frequent minor breakouts due to excess oil and sebum, rather than inflammatory blemishes. While my skin is sensitive to irritation, I've taken good care of it, so my skin barrier is relatively strong. Tea tree is really effective for reducing inflammation and calming blemishes, and it suits my skin type well. I've been using Sidmool's pure extract products with good results. But since tea tree can leave significant scarring if used incorrectly, I was looking for a gentler product that might work more slowly but would be less damaging to the skin barrier and suitable for daily use. This product seems to fit the bill perfectly! (➕Added after over a month of use)♥️ However, the effects are too subtle for me to repurchase. I can use more potent products without major side effects, so the "gentle" aspect isn't a significant advantage for me. Repurchase intention: 30% (detailed reasons at the end of the cons section) I've found another gentle but more effective spot patch, and since my skin can handle stronger ointments, I prefer to use those for quicker results (I'm impatient, haha). ∎ Pros: Ingredients In addition to tea tree, it contains centella asiatica extract and propolis, which are great for inflammation, skin barrier, and soothing. All three work well for me, which is fantastic. It also includes oils that help with exfoliation, which generally suit me well as someone with oily skin. I had no issues using this product. ∎ Effectiveness? For me, it left less scarring compared to using pure tea tree oil or prescription products. While the effects are slower, it allows for gentler care with quick soothing properties. Most importantly, it's safe to use on pore areas, especially the T-zone! 💢 Usually, when I use strong spot treatments on pore areas, I always experience side effects like enlarged pores, but not with this product! ➕Update‼️ I initially thought it was only effective for inflammatory blemishes, but I've found it works well on non-inflammatory issues like clogged pores and sebum-related bumps when applied generously like a serum. (It's good considering how gentle it is, but AHA/BHA pads or PHA are much better for sebum, bumps, and dead skin cells) I didn't realize this because I was only using it as a spot treatment, but it seems to help control sebum overall and, thanks to the cica ingredient as well as tea tree, it's somewhat effective in soothing and restoring skin after extracting blackheads (after proper cleansing and disinfection). ∎ Comparison with other spot treatments -Frequently used spot treatment: Sidmool Tea Tree Oil (Powerful but can scar, not recommended for deep cystic acne, good for moderate-sized, visible inflammatory blemishes - it dries out the pus, which comes out naturally when cleansing) -Frequently used spot patch: Arpe First Two Needle Patch (Great for cystic or large inflammatory blemishes Not effective for small bumps or non-inflammatory issues Doesn't work once pus has already formed -> that's when I use tea tree) -Additional spot patch! Added after watching Director Pi's video, Blemish Relief Patch (purple package), excellent for soothing before extraction & relatively less scarring or redness, which is great -Similar but milder spot treatment: Skinfood Parsley Spot (White powder, liquid->solid form, effective for soothing after extraction, 💚Green Derma is better than this product specifically for soothing "right after" extracting pimples, 💚Green Derma is good for treating areas after extracting sebum-related bumps)
ConsAs mentioned in the pros, while it has fewer side effects and doesn't leave scars, it's not very effective for "medium-sized or larger blemishes" and requires longer use, which is a bit disappointing. For blemishes caused by sebum/oil/clogged pores, this seems much better than stronger products that might leave scars. ➕(Added after using for over a month) However, it's only "good among gentle products". I've recently discovered a new soothing patch for pre-extraction and hardly use this anymore because the effects are too subtle. Still, among products with almost no irritation, this was good. I'm planning to give it to my younger cousin who's just starting to get breakouts on her baby-soft skin. ∎ Drawbacks (What types of blemishes is it effective for?) -It wasn't effective at all for medium-sized or larger inflammatory blemishes (even if caused by sebum) -Not effective for dressing after extraction or immediate soothing (I don't think these were the intended effects of this product. I find it's best to keep various products on hand and use the right one for each symptom!) ∎ Cons (I could accept these, but listing them for reference) -Can't apply before makeup, it pilled everywhere except around the chin where I apply lots of moisturizer -It doesn't absorb, but rather stays as a kind of water coating. If this bothers you, you might not be able to use it (I'm used to spot treatments and powder dressings sticking, so I didn't find this uncomfortable, but hair does stick to it...^^...haha) -Cons update‼️ To prevent stickiness and things sticking to it... I apply this thinly and then use a cotton swab to apply centella powder on top for a light coating. Like setting powder after makeup! It works quite well~! 👉🏻Repurchase intention: 30% Reason: Since my skin can handle stronger products without many side effects, I think using more potent products is faster and more effective, so I probably won't use this for managing larger blemishes. I was looking for a cosmetic alternative to prescription ointments that leave scars, but after finding a pre-extraction relief patch that doesn't scar and is effective, I rarely use this anymore. I think this is a product I'd recommend to sensitive skin types & babies, younger siblings who are students. I appreciated its clear identity as a product.
TipIf you want to apply it before makeup, I found it works well to lightly dust some powder (like centella powder) over it after application, then pat with a puff! For best results, apply it to bare skin (with toner on other areas if needed), and the thicker the layer, the better it seems to work. I recommend this for calming blemishes caused by uncontrolled sebum production. (For other types of blemishes, I've listed recommended products and ones I've tried in the pros section)

Particularly, I felt a decrease in excess oil in specific areas where my skin tends to be more sensitive. - I experienced an immediate soothing effect on red and irritated skin where the skin barrier was compromised.
Cons- It's unclear whether the reduction in oiliness is due to actual decreased sebum production or the use of high-molecular-weight substances that absorb oil. The instant mattifying effect suggests the use of sebum-absorbing polymers, which might clog pores and worsen blemishes if not properly cleansed. This should perhaps be included in the usage precautions. - While it has a calming effect, I noticed that with continued use, my skin became tougher and I developed fluid-filled blemishes. The exact cause is uncertain.
Tip- This product doesn't have any effect on existing acne. As this isn't part of the product's claims, I recommend not purchasing if you're expecting this benefit. - The presence of limonene and linalool indicates naturally occurring fragrance components that may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. At the concentrations used in this product, the potential for irritation is likely much lower than eating citrus fruits. Unless you have extremely sensitive skin, this shouldn't be a major concern.
