Absolutely smooth sailing when applying 😎 ✔️ Absorption - The absorption is fantastic! Even if you apply a lot, it sinks in quickly, making it comfortable for frequent use! ✔️ Hydration/Moisture - Despite being called a spot serum, it feels more like a spot gel, offering less moisturization but plenty of hydration! ✔️ Recommended Skin Type: All skin types prone to blemishes
ConsRather than providing immediate soothing, I noticed the blemishes gradually shrinking after 3-4 days of use! Be careful not to apply too much, as it might cause the skin to reject it - stick to a moderate amount :-)
TipInstead of immediately patting the product into blemished areas, try leaving it on for a moment (like you would with concealer) before spreading it. This seemed to calm the skin more quickly!

The scent is very subtle, reminiscent of a mild glue stick smell, but it didn't bother me at all as I'm not sensitive to fragrances. The texture is similar to a soothing gel, but slightly more fluid, making it easy to apply lightly. While it had minimal effect on cystic acne, it was excellent for calming small blemishes! The packaging is great for a spot serum, allowing easy application to specific areas.
ConsThe only downside I noticed is that, probably due to my oily skin type, it felt like it was sitting on top of my skin even after absorption. Apart from this, I loved everything else about it!

After using Nature Republic's Green Derma Tea Tree Cica Spot Serum for about a week, the spots didn't completely disappear, but they faded so much that you'd have to look closely to notice them! This was my first time trying a cica product, and I'm so satisfied that I'd definitely use it again. I expected the hydration to be more intense and moisturizing, but it was surprisingly light and absorbed quickly without feeling sticky. I actually preferred this, as it wasn't heavy after applying my skincare routine. As someone sensitive to fragrances, I found the subtle scent quite pleasant. The tiny applicator tip made it easy to apply precisely where needed - a nice touch!
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it contains two potential allergens.
TipSince it doesn't provide deep hydration, those with dry skin should pair it with a moisturizer for best results.

I love that it has gentle ingredients! I could apply it all over my face without any irritation, and it slowly soothed red blemishes without causing major discomfort. It's great that I can apply it lightly both morning and evening!
ConsI was a bit disappointed that it didn't calm my blemishes as quickly as I'd hoped. But aside from that, everything else was great!

Cons• Don't expect dramatic results - manage your expectations • Might need to apply it over a longer period to see effects
TipIt's best to apply a thin layer over a wide area after your toner and emulsion!

As someone who dislikes the sticky residue left by some products, I appreciated how fresh it felt on my skin. Hygiene) The nozzle is narrow, befitting a spot serum, making it easy to apply directly onto blemishes. I also loved the sleek design and the intuitive color that reflects its ingredients. Scent) It has a slight tea tree scent, common in tea tree products. When applied only to problem areas like the forehead and chin, it's practically unscented. Hydration) Suitable for oily skin types. For those with dry skin, I'd recommend adding this to your existing skincare routine rather than replacing any hydrating products.
ConsDisappointingly, it didn't seem effective on my blemishes, which is arguably the most crucial aspect. I have numerous small bumps and a few inflamed pimples. I've been using the product since January 31st, but haven't seen any improvement. However, this might be too short a period, so I'll continue using it for another week and update my review.

I had blemishes on both cheeks, so it stung a bit when I first used it. But as I continued using it, the blemishes slightly subsided and the tingling sensation almost disappeared!
ConsWhen I first used it, I remember being a bit surprised by how much product came out. It was difficult to control the amount, but I got used to it over time. If I didn't control the amount, it felt like it was sitting on top of my skin, and it might be too dry for those with dry skin. I have dry, sensitive skin, and when I only used this toner and spot serum, it was too drying. The blemish reduction wasn't dramatic, and I think those with super sensitive skin might be better off using a different product.

Improvement in redness While I've never had extremely sensitive skin since childhood, I've always had a tendency towards redness, so I prefer gentle products that are good for soothing. This product doesn't cause any tingling and is excellent for calming the skin! After using it, I noticed that when I applied it before bed, my redness had improved by morning, which was great! 2. Reduction in sebum production I have extremely oily skin, so there's never been a time when I couldn't see sebum on my nose and cheeks. This product isn't sticky or overly rich, but has a light, refreshing texture that absorbs well. It seems more suitable for combination, sensitive skin types rather than dry skin. As a result, after using this product, I noticed a decrease in oiliness and sebum production on my skin.
ConsAlthough it's marketed as a spot treatment, I feel like there's not enough product when I apply it all over my face. However, unless you have redness or blemishes all over your face like me, you should be fine just applying it to problem areas. Other than that, everything else about it is great!
TipAfter cleansing in the evening, I generously apply this product to my skin and then use a modeling mask on top 2-3 times a week without fail! I can really feel the redness, flushing, blemishes, and skin heat significantly reducing!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsI first discovered this product through The Hwahae Testers. The texture is transparent and fluid, similar to aloe gel. It's refreshing and lightweight, making it easy to use without feeling heavy. The scent is herbal, reminiscent of leaves, which wasn't off-putting at all. As I have slightly oily skin, applying it to areas with more oil like the T-zone left my skin feeling matte and light. The long nozzle on the container made it convenient for targeted application and seemed hygienic. When my face felt hot, applying this had a nice calming effect. While it didn't dramatically improve blemishes, consistent use did seem to refine my skin. Above all, its fresh and light feel makes it great for those with oily skin and for summer use.
ConsWhile there weren't any major drawbacks, it might not provide enough hydration for those seeking intense moisture due to its light, non-moisturizing formula. Also, it stung slightly when applied to areas with small cuts or abrasions. Not recommended for those with dry skin.
TipIt worked well when applied to oily areas, leaving the skin with a matte finish.

Scent: Tea tree aroma, fresh and crisp. As a tea tree lover, I found it quite pleasant! Texture: Transparent, watery gel-type. It has a light consistency, similar to aloe vera gel! Feel / Soothing effect: It's not heavy, so you can apply it generously without feeling burdened. I love how well it absorbs! After using it consistently for 6 days, I noticed that when applied to red, irritated areas with blemishes before bed, the redness was noticeably reduced by morning. The product has a cooling effect upon application, which I think contributes to its excellent soothing properties! Price: At 15,000 won for 30ml, it's reasonably priced. Since it's a spot serum, you only need to apply it to troubled areas, so a little goes a long way. Nature Republic also frequently has sales, so if you buy it during those times, it could be a real steal!
ConsPustular acne / Severe acne: Unfortunately, for those with severe pustular acne, the effects might be minimal. While it may help reduce some redness, don't expect dramatic results.
TipI enjoyed the gentle cooling effect, so I often applied it generously in two layers. The next day, I could definitely see an improvement in my blemishes. Remember, hastily applying products won't do your skin any favors! Even if you use the most expensive and effective products, if your skin can't absorb them properly, it's all for naught. Give your skin time to absorb the product thoroughly!
