< A truly honest review > I've always known that Etude's mascaras were famous, but while I've tried their fixers before, this was my first time using their actual mascara. I was most excited about its longevity, as it claims to provide 'unwavering curled lashes in any situation'. True to its Curl Fix name, when applied after using an eyelash curler, it coated my lashes well, maintaining the curl, and the staying power was really impressive. From morning when I left for school until evening when I returned home, my lashes barely drooped at all! It applies smoothly, so the absorption is great. It's also waterproof and sweat-resistant, so I think it'll be especially useful in summer. The price is reasonable, and above all, the longevity is so good that I'll probably repurchase it when I run out! I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a black mascara.
Cons
It seems to clump a bit when applied. You need to apply it neatly the first time. I usually apply two or three coats, but doing that made my lashes clump together and the application became too thick. Also, if you don't let it dry immediately after application, the mascara can transfer to the upper eyelid area. You need to be careful when applying it.
Tip
As you all know, with such great longevity, you need to be extra thorough with cleansing, right? I used a mascara remover and it came off cleanly.

Pros
The curling and fixing power is undoubtedly top-notch. It doesn't smudge even when wet. It truly excels at the core functions of a mascara.
Cons
The one I bought previously didn't transfer much during application, but when I repurchased it around late 2024, it transferred a bit while applying. After application, my eyes felt somewhat dry. The biggest issue is that I kept developing contact dermatitis symptoms around my eyes, so I don't think I can use it anymore. The skin above and just below my eyes turned red. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, so I wonder if the ingredients have changed? Anyway, it's disappointing.

Pros
After trying various mascaras, I've come full circle back to Curl Fix... haha! I used it consistently since school, then got a bit bored and experimented with other brands. But I've returned to Curl Fix in the end. Unbeatable staying power! Delivers the perfectly lifted lashes I want! No clumping! Doesn't smudge! It's simply the best! Sorry for getting bored with you, I'm in love again.
Cons
Occasionally there's a tiny bit of excess, but it's barely noticeable and not bothersome at all.

Pros
1. Curling This is the most important aspect of mascara. As the product name suggests, the curling power is excellent. My eyelashes are the type that droop downwards, but after using the curler and this product, they lift up nicely. 2. Longevity (Waterproof and Tear/Oil Resistant) ⭐️ I think this is the biggest advantage of this product. The longevity is extremely good. The initial mascara application state is maintained throughout. There was no sagging or drooping over time. And being waterproof, it is very resistant to tears and oil. 3. Gentle Ingredients Since I'm using it around the eyes, I tend to be quite sensitive to the ingredients, but as can be checked on the Hwahae app, the ingredients are on the gentler side. Perhaps that's why there was no eye irritation or discomfort.
Cons
1. Recommended Use of Dedicated Remover Given the product's exceptional longevity, regular cleansing waters or oils don't remove it very well. So the use of a dedicated remover is recommended. Having to use a dedicated remover and the inability to remove all facial makeup in one cleansing session with cleansing waters or oils is a bit inconvenient.

My favorite mascara! The longevity is absolutely incredible... The smudge-resistance and curling power are both top-notch. I switched over from Kiss Me, which would start drooping after a few hours, but this one is the ultimate in staying power.
Cons
It's a bit tricky to remove, haha. The foam or milk cleansers definitely won't cut it. You have to use an eye makeup remover to get it off.
Tip
I'm already on my 3rd repurchase... It's just so good, I really recommend it. Be sure to get it!

As a mascara nomad, I've tried about fifteen different mascaras, and this one seems to be the best. I've even tried the renewed product, and this is the best one. My lashes tend to droop, but this one really lifts them up and lasts a long time. My friends thought I was wearing false lashes!
Cons
No downsides. The cost-effectiveness is top-notch, and this is the best one.

Pros
I really dislike smudging and I'm quite particular about curl retention. But if I curl my lashes with a curler, apply mascara, and style with a heated eyelash curler, the curl stays until I sit down at my vanity at home. It doesn't smudge either, and the amount is just right.
Cons
If you're looking for volume, this product may not fully satisfy that need.
