I'm on my second tube of this mascara! I used to avoid mascara altogether because every one I tried would smudge, but a friend recommended this and it's become the only mascara that doesn't smudge on me! It's the mascara that finally allowed even those of us with oily skin to wear mascara confidently. The lashes don't dramatically lengthen, unfortunately. Other products seem to give a bit more length, but since those smudge, I can't use them. So I've settled on this one. This mascara works hard to stay put, which is perfect for those with combination dehydrated skin or oily skin types. While it may not provide the most dramatic lengthening effect, its non-smudging formula makes it a reliable choice for everyday wear.

I was most excited about its longevity, as it claims to provide 'curl that won't budge in any situation'. True to its 'Curl Fix' name, when applied after using an eyelash curler, it coated my lashes well while maintaining the curl, and the staying power was really impressive. My lashes barely drooped from morning when I left for school until I got home in the evening! It absorbs well, making for a smooth application. It's also waterproof and sweat-resistant, so I think it'll be especially useful in summer. The price is reasonable, and above all, the longevity is so good that I'll probably repurchase it when I run out! I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a black mascara. It seems to clump a bit when applied. You need to be careful to apply it neatly the first time. I usually apply two or three coats, but doing so with this mascara caused my lashes to clump together and the application became too thick. Also, if you don't let it dry immediately after application, the mascara can transfer to the upper eyelid area. You need to be cautious when applying it. As you all know, with such great longevity, you need to be extra thorough with cleansing, right? The curling and fixing power is undoubtedly top-notch. It doesn't smudge even when wet. It truly excels at the core functions of a mascara. The one I bought previously didn't transfer much during application, but when I repurchased it around late 2024, it transferred a bit while applying. After application, my eyes felt somewhat dry. The biggest issue is that I kept developing contact dermatitis symptoms around my eyes, so I don't think I can use it anymore. The skin above and just below my eyes turned red. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, so I wonder if the ingredients have changed? I loved how it doesn't smudge or come off easily. The hold is so secure that it maintains the initial application without smearing, which is great! When it dries, it feels a bit stiff, making it look somewhat unnatural. There's also that characteristic tightening sensation when the mascara sets, so I'm using it carefully.

Even though my eyelids tend to be oily and my eyes often water, this mascara absolutely refuses to budge. Plus, being black, it really makes my eyes look more defined. The staying power is absolutely fantastic! The only downside is that it tends to clump a bit. That's really the only issue I have with it. This is still my all-time favorite mascara! I've actually found that the renewed version smudges and droops faster on me. I must have gone through at least 15 tubes of this original formula. It's truly fantastic. The only slight downside is that it can clump a bit. It applies naturally if you control the amount well, which is great. I don't like mascaras that are too intense or obvious, but this one is just right and works well. After trying various mascaras, I've come full circle back to Curl Fix... haha! I used it consistently since school, then got a bit bored and experimented with other brands. But I've returned to Curl Fix in the end. Unbeatable staying power! Delivers the perfectly lifted lashes I want! No clumping! Doesn't smudge! It's simply the best! Sorry for getting bored with you, I'm in love again. Occasionally there's a tiny bit of excess, but it's barely noticeable and not bothersome at all.

True to its name, it has excellent curling power. My lashes tend to droop downwards, but after using an eyelash curler and applying this product, they stay lifted beautifully. 2. Longevity (Waterproof, Tear-resistant, and Oil-resistant) This is what I consider the product's greatest strength. The staying power is incredible. The initial look of the mascara remains intact throughout wear. There's no sagging or smudging as time passes. Being waterproof, it's also highly resistant to tears and oil. 3. Gentle Ingredients Given that it's used around the eyes, I tend to be quite sensitive about ingredients. As you can see on the Hwahae app, this product contains relatively gentle ingredients. Perhaps that's why I experienced no eye irritation or stinging. 1. Specialized Remover Recommended Due to its strong staying power, this mascara doesn't come off easily with regular cleansing water or oil. Therefore, I recommend using a specialized remover. The need to purchase a separate remover and the inability to remove all makeup in one go with regular cleansing products can be a bit inconvenient.
