It's incredibly effective at calming irritation.
ConsThere's a bit of a tingling sensation when applying, so I recommend doing a patch test before using it all over.
TipTry mixing it with any moisturizer for application.

While some say it tingles, I actually found that pleasant. It's not irritating at all. Excellent for calming the skin. Even when my skin was acting up terribly, applying this had a soothing effect.
ConsNone! If I had to pick something, maybe the scent... but it's not enough to make me stop using it.

When my skin starts to look blotchy and irritated, mixing this with my moisturizer makes a noticeable difference by the next morning.
ConsIf your skin is super sensitive or your skin barrier is compromised, mixing this into your cream and applying it all over your face might be too irritating. For sensitive skin, it's better to use it only on specific areas. Also, it's a bit tricky to apply with a cotton swab as it doesn't spread easily. It works better to dispense some onto your hand and apply with your fingers, but that can feel a bit messy and bothersome.

My skin was acting up, so I tried various things. When a YouTuber I follow called it their 'holy grail', I gave it a shot. The results were visible the very next day! Even severe, painful blemishes calmed down so much that I didn't need to squeeze them the next day. The soothing effect is excellent! The formula is water-like, allowing you to easily create a spot treatment by touching a cotton swab to the bottle opening - it's quickly absorbed. The scent is a strong, fresh tea tree aroma! It's quite potent but dissipates quickly. The high concentration of tea tree oil explains the intense fragrance. As for its soothing effects, the sudden cold weather recently caused my skin to act up, with rough patches and small bumps. This oil, which I've used for a long time, came to the rescue again! Whether applied before or after extraction, on pustules or small bumps, it calms the skin overnight! I don't think there's another tea tree oil that can match its soothing power. Initially, I thought the tiny bottle was quite pricey, but as a spot treatment, it lasts a long time. My family shares it, and it lasts about a year! It's actually quite cost-effective.
ConsIf I had to point out any downsides, it would be the strong scent when applying. Also, since it's 100% tea tree oil, you absolutely need a cotton swab to apply it. But honestly, these are minor issues compared to its effectiveness!
TipYou can use it daily as a spot treatment by applying it with a cotton swab. Alternatively, add a drop or two to your modeling mask for double the soothing effect the next day! Just remember, it's potent, so stick to just two or three drops!

This is a product I've always loved using! When I first started, my skin felt like it was burning, peeling, and turning red. But as I continued using it, I figured out how to use it properly! First off, it doesn't work on large, painful, hard inflammatory blemishes! It's most effective on small, bumpy acne. If you dab it on those bumps with a cotton swab, it hardens and falls off like a scab. That's why I rely on it so much when my skin is covered in these little bumps! However, it's quite strong, so don't use it over large areas. Avoid the eye area - it really stings the eyes...
ConsThe scent is incredibly strong. After using it, the smell fills the entire room! It's also quite irritating! It really burns.
TipApply a generous amount to a cotton swab and dab it onto the blemished areas. I use more of the product on the cotton swab than you might expect.

ConsBeing a concentrated serum, it has a strong scent and can be a bit irritating. However, if you use just a tiny amount and control the quantity well, it's manageable.

After researching, I bought tea tree oil since it's supposed to be good for closed comedones. Applying it morning and night when those pesky bumps appeared, I noticed they'd calm down by the next day! I learned that lack of hydration can cause closed comedones, so I focused on moisturizing while simplifying my skincare routine to emphasize spot treatment. I kept it light with Well*** Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule and Brin** Tea Tree Cica Cream. This was enough for my combination skin, though I'd add a light emulsion on my cheeks or eye area if needed. Prioritizing spot treatment really helped improve my skin quickly. For pustular acne, I recommend Acne-n cream from the pharmacy. Treating each type of blemish differently seems to speed up healing! The pharmacist advised applying Acne-n right after cleansing, before any other products, for best results. I'd wait 5-10 minutes before continuing my routine. As for the tea tree oil, it can be a bit intense, so I'd apply it last, dabbing it on problem areas with a cotton swab.
ConsBeing 100% tea tree oil, it has a strong, distinctive scent that might not suit those sensitive to fragrances. I'd recommend testing it first before purchasing. Also, it can cause a burning sensation and irritation when first applied. I was surprised by the intensity at first! It does subside as it dries. Start by using a cotton swab to apply it precisely to target areas. If your skin tolerates it well, you can gradually increase the amount used.
TipGiven the small amount, using cotton swabs can feel wasteful as they absorb some of the product. In that case, I recommend the 'Daiso Makeup Correction Sticks'! You get 100 in a pack, and they're smaller than regular cotton swabs, so they absorb less oil, reducing waste. They're perfect for precisely applying to small areas!

There's nothing quite like it for spot treatment! Now I understand why it's called a holy grail product - I feel anxious without it! Even when my entire face breaks out and I need to apply it all over, it might feel a bit harsh, but if it can kill those blemishes, I'm okay with that. It calms breakouts quickly, sometimes in just a day or two, and at most within 3-5 days.
ConsRather than a downside, there's something to be cautious about: as it completely dries out sebum, it can make your skin very dry. This makes it easy for wrinkles to form and can lead to deep dryness.
TipYou must be really diligent with hydration! Otherwise, the deep dryness can cause acne to keep coming back. Also, apply it with a cotton swab, and whatever you do, don't use that same swab near your eyes.

What I love is that you can visibly see it soothing the skin immediately. Small pimples with pus tend to subside, while larger ones dry out on the surface and eventually fall off.
ConsIt's hard to tell if the oil has actually been absorbed into the skin. You can see it under bright light, but you get used to it quickly. It may sting at first. If you have super sensitive skin, I recommend patch testing before use. The herbal scent is quite strong. I personally like it, but it might be off-putting for some people. It doesn't seem to have much effect on painful, deep pimples where the pus isn't visible yet. In those cases, I found using an ointment or microneedle patch followed by tea tree oil to be more effective.
TipRather than preventing blemishes, it was more effective in soothing existing ones. I also use it on areas where I've extracted pimples, and it works well.

ConsThe scent is a bit off... My husband always asks what that smell is when I apply it.
