It was said to be irritating, but I actually found it quite good. It didn't reach the level of being stimulating. It's excellent for skin soothing. The Hwahae reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and when I applied it, I experienced a calming effect.
ConsNothing!!! It's just a slight smell, but... I don't really feel like I shouldn't use this because of it.

When my skin looks flushed and about to turn over, if I mix it with a moisturizing cream and use it, it is noticeably different the next day.
ConsWhen the skin is too sensitive or the skin barrier is compromised, using a cream all over the face can be overly irritating. During sensitive periods, it's better to use it on targeted areas. And when applying it with a cotton swab, it may not spread well, so it's better to scoop it out with your hands and apply it that way, but that can be a bit inconvenient and messy.

My skin was peeling, so I tried various things, and a YouTuber I regularly watch recommended this as a holy grail product. I tried it and it worked the very next day! The calming effect was so good that even severe inflamed acne was soothed the next day without any squeezing.👍 🌳Texture The fluid-like texture allows you to pick up the product with a cotton swab and quickly absorb it, enabling you to create spot treatments. 🌳Fragrance The fragrance is a strong tea tree scent! The scent is quite potent but dissipates quickly. This is likely due to the high concentration of tea tree oil. 🌳Calming effect With the sudden drop in temperature lately, my skin was peeling, and I had a lot of milia due to the flakiness. Luckily, I had the chance to use the oil I had been using for a long time. Whether applied before or after squeezing, the calming effect on inflamed acne or milia was noticeable the very next day! I don't think there's another tea tree oil product that can match this one's calming power. 🌳Volume At first, the small volume seemed quite expensive, but since it's a spot treatment product, it lasts a long time, and I can share it with my family. It seems to last about a year.😊 It's a surprisingly good value product.😁
ConsIf I had to point out any shortcomings, it would be the pungent scent when applied. And since it's 100% tea tree, cotton swabs are absolutely necessary ㅜㅜ But this is nothing compared to the effects you see!
TipYou can use it as a daily product by applying it to the entrance and then using it as a spot treatment! ' Or, if you add a drop or two when doing a modeling pack, you can see the calming effect doubled the next day! However, it's quite strong, so just drop two to three drops.

This was really a product I used to use very well! When I first used it, my skin would get red and inflamed, as if it had been burned, but as I continued to use it, I gradually learned how to use it! First of all, it's not effective on large, painful, hard inflammatory blemishes!!! The most effective is on milia. If you dab milia with a cotton swab, it will harden and fall off like a scab, so I really rely on it when my skin is covered in milia! However, it is quite irritating, so don't use it on a large area and avoid the eye area -> your eyes will really sting...😭
ConsThe fragrance is extremely strong. It spreads a strong odor throughout the entire room when used. Haha, it's quite irritating!! I'm really upset about it.
TipGently dab the troubled area with a cotton swab that is well-coated. I find that the cotton swab gets quite saturated for me.

ConsSince it is a concentrated essence, the fragrance is quite strong and a bit stimulating. However, if you use just a small amount and adjust the quantity properly, it works well.

After searching through various videos, I found that tea tree oil is good for cystic acne, so I bought some..!! When cystic acne would flare up, applying it in the morning and evening would make it subside by the next day~ Since cystic acne is caused by lack of moisture, I really focused on replenishing moisture, and to better target the spot treatments, I skipped a lot of my regular skincare steps. For skincare, I just used the Wella* hyaluronic acid ampoule and the Bring** tea tree cicatrice cream lightly. As a combination skin type, this was enough, and if my cheeks or eye area felt lacking, I'd lightly layer on some lotion! Focusing more on the spot treatments really helped clear it up quickly. For inflammatory acne, I recommend the Acnon cream sold at pharmacies~ Treating each type of acne differently really helps it clear up faster!! The pharmacist said to apply the Acnon cream right after cleansing, without putting anything else on, and then do the rest of my skincare 5-10 minutes later. The tea tree oil had a bit of a sting, so after my skincare I'd dab it on the cystic acne spots with a cotton swab.
ConsSince the tea tree oil is 100%, it has a very strong scent, so if you're sensitive to fragrances, you'll want to test it out first before purchasing. Also, at first when you apply it, it can feel a bit stinging and irritating. I was surprised by the sting at first too. But it gets better as it dries. Use a cotton swab to dab it just on the problem areas, and if it works well for you and you get used to it, you can increase the amount you use.
TipSince the amount isn't very much, when using a cotton swab, it can feel like a waste when the swab absorbs a lot of the oil. For that, I recommend the 'Daiso Makeup Correction Stick'!! It comes in a pack of 100 and is usually smaller than a cotton swab, so it absorbs less of the oil, with less waste. It's great for precisely dabbing it on the small problem areas~~

This is the best spot treatment I've found! That's why it's nicknamed the 're-purchase, re-re-re-re-purchase' item - I can't be without it. While it can leave my whole face looking a bit flushed if I have to apply it all over, it's worth it if it can just kill those pesky blemishes...🥺 It usually calms down the breakouts within a day or two, sometimes up to 3-5 days.
ConsIt's not so much a downside as something to be cautious about - it can really dry out the skin and suck up all the oil, which can make wrinkles more likely and lead to inner dryness.
TipYou really have to make sure to moisturize a lot!!! Otherwise, the inner dryness can cause breakouts to keep coming back. And be careful not to get it in your eyes when applying with a cotton swab...

Smaller acne bumps have gone down, and larger acne bumps are drying up and falling off.
Cons▪️It's hard to tell if the oil is still on my skin. <You can see it in the light. I got used to it quickly. ▪️It stings at first. I'd recommend testing it if you have sensitive skin before using. ▪️The herbal scent is strong. <I personally like the scent, but some people may find it unpleasant. ▪️It doesn't work well on acne that's painful but not yet visible on the surface -> Using a medicated cream or pimple patch first, then applying the tea tree oil was more effective for me.
TipIt was more effective at calming existing acne rather than preventing new breakouts. I've been using it on areas I've extracted as well.👍🏻

If you have inflammatory acne, folliculitis, or what looks like it's about to erupt, you can dip a cotton swab in the oil and do spot treatment morning and evening 'consistently' - it really helps calm things down!
ConsIt's a bit on the pricier side, so it's best to grab it when it's on sale. It can be quite irritating for those with sensitive skin.
TipThis oil works really well for me, but I find that the cotton swab absorbs too much, so I use half a cotton pad and dip about 3-4 drops on it to do the spot treatment over a larger area. Minimize your overall skincare routine and focus on the spot treatment! Or, apply the toner first, then do the spot treatment > wait at least 1 minute before doing the rest of your skincare. Make sure to let each step fully absorb for at least 30 seconds before moving on to the next!
