Pros
Wow. I tried it out at the department store and was blown away. As I've gotten older, I've been enjoying creating a more dewy, glowing complexion rather than a matte finish. With age, a matte look can end up looking dull, but this... this is truly amazing for achieving that glowy look. I've tried some cheaper dupes, but they just can't compare.
Cons
The price is really, really expensive 😢 But compared to the other copycat versions, it's so good that I end up buying it in tears.

When applied, it definitely brings out more moisture and radiance compared to when not applied.
Cons
It seems good, but... To be honest, I'm not sure. When applied, it does feel a bit tacky and the foundation applies better than when not applied.... The Guerlain foundation is a bit matte, so the two seem to have a good synergy. And during these times when we wear masks, I'm not sure if the Lore is really necessary.

- Skin type: Combination skin (T-zone is oily, U-zone is dry) π΅ Texture: It has a smooth, smoothing gel texture. There are tiny 24k pure gold particles embedded in the gel, which seem to act as a radiant base. π΅ Skin expression: I compared wearing and not wearing foundation, and wearing this definitely improves the adherence and smoothness of the foundation. The adhesion is great π π΅ Recommended skin type & season: As a moisture-based product, it suits dry skin types much better. Even though my skin is dry overall except the nose area, it worked extremely well for me. It's more useful in the winter than summer. π΅ Longevity: After applying this, my foundation shows less cracking and flaking even on my dry skin. It seems to help improve the longevity of the foundation.
Cons
π Semi-matte to matte foundations pair well with this, completing the adherence of the foundation. It doesn't go well with dewy or glowy foundations. The Guerlain Gold Radiance foundation, which is often bundled with this product, is matte and pairs very well. π The price is the only downside, otherwise I'd want to use this base all winter long.

Before applying foundation, it leaves the skin feeling moisturized and glowing due to the shimmer (?) particles. I really liked it! I'm not sure about any special effects, but it felt true to its purpose as a hydrating base.
Cons
Expensive price for the small size, but aside from that, it was decent.

This makeup works great for areas with more pronounced pores - it applies smoothly without much caking and definitely gives a dewy, radiant effect.
Cons
Be careful, using too much can cause breakouts the next day..ㅋ
Tip
I find that applying the Guerlain Watery Oil first, and then this on top, helps prevent the pores from getting clogged.

Pros
This product makes a noticeable difference between good and bad application days - there is much less visible flaking/dryness when applied properly. It has excellent moisturizing properties and a dewy, hydrated finish.
Cons
The fragrance has a somewhat dated feel to it. While Guerlain is not necessarily an old-fashioned brand, it just doesn't quite suit my personal preferences.
Tip
This foundation pairs really well with the Guerlain L'Essentiel foundation as well. When I apply a good base and then layer this on top, it maintains a beautiful, glowing, hydrated look no matter what other foundation I use.

Pros
I have large and numerous pores, but I really love this foundation base. When I apply Benefit Porefessional, the foundation later becomes cakey and crumbles, making a very messy appearance. But this base helps the foundation adhere smoothly to the skin and provides a beautiful luminous glow. Even when it starts to break down, the oil and foundation blend well together to maintain a natural look. The main reason I'm on my third bottle of this expensive base is that it significantly enhances the longevity of my foundation and prevents darkening. Even on days when my skin condition is poor and pores are emphasized, using this base helps my skin look at least average and prevents it from looking overly dull.
Cons
I really love this base, but if I have to pay the full price, I would seriously consider whether to repurchase it... If you can buy it at duty-free prices, I would highly recommend it, but at the full retail price, it's just too, too expensive, no matter how good the effects are. I took off one star because of the price.
Tip
I just pat it in with my fingers until it's fully absorbed. Then the luminous glow comes up and my skin feels a bit more supple. Applying foundation on top of that works really well - it definitely fulfills its role as a base.

For my dry skin, this product seems to be a good fit, especially in the summer when I want something a bit lighter. When applied, it gives a nice glow to the skin and helps address dryness to some extent.
Cons
If only they had paid a bit more attention to the ingredients...
