Pros
In the winter, even the most resilient foundations would peel off my skin if my skin condition was even slightly off, which was extremely inconvenient. But after using this product, I found the light. It thoroughly moisturizes my entire face, so even when I apply a dry foundation on top, there is no flakiness. It's an essential item for my skin makeup routine. Although the volume may seem small, it lasts much longer than expected. And I didn't experience any skin troubles either.
Cons
The price is a bit disappointing, but considering the effects, it was worth it.

Applying it lightly before makeup can help calm the mind and body when the skin is dry. (It's light, moisturizing, and refreshing, which helps soothe the mind) It's great for sensitive skin as it doesn't cause any breakouts!
Cons
It doesn't seem to particularly affect the quality of the makeup application. (Especially not recommended for those who don't do a very glowy skin look) Sometimes the gold pearl gets stuck on the face;;

Pros
Skin Type: Severely dehydrated, sensitive skin I don't usually use makeup bases, but I got a sample and tried it out in the winter. It was perfect for the dry season. I think those with extremely dry skin will really love it. The fluid formula is quickly absorbed and applies nicely. It definitely gives a moisturized, dewy feeling from deep within the skin. The formula also paired very well with my foundation (the famous matte Estée Lauder one). When applying foundation, it had great adherence and didn't break down easily, which I really liked.
Cons
The price seems a bit high, and there are a lot of cautionary ingredients, which is a shame. There's a BHT ingredient that I'm particularly wary of... So I probably won't be purchasing the full-size product. And the fragrance is strong and unpleasant - it just didn't work for me.

The Guerlain L'Or Radiance Primer is indeed worth the high price. While the difference between applying it or not may only be noticeable to me, the longevity and hydration are certainly improved. With the increased facial heat from wearing a mask and the mask transfer, I've been using the semi-matte cushion foundation more often, but the dryness has been a bit of an issue. However, using this product has helped alleviate the dryness significantly. It's no wonder those who love this product are so devoted - there's a good reason for the hype. First and foremost, the fragrance is simply wonderful. Also, when used as a base in the spring, fall, and winter when it's dry, it helps prevent dryness and is quite nice.
Cons
The downside would be that it's too expensive. I'm not sure if the effects are as dramatic as the high price would suggest.

There are tiny 24k pure gold particles embedded in the gel, which seem to act as a radiant base. π΅ Skin expression: I compared wearing and not wearing foundation, and wearing this definitely improves the adherence and smoothness of the foundation. The adhesion is great π π΅ Recommended skin type & season: As a moisture-based product, it suits dry skin types much better. Even though my skin is dry overall except the nose area, it worked extremely well for me. My skin was extremely dry, and after applying makeup in the winter, it would feel incredibly tight. But after using this product, the tightness completely disappeared.
