There's no strong scent, and the texture is refreshing, making it comfortable to apply.
ConsThe consistency is a bit thin, so it didn't feel like it was deeply nourishing my skin. However, the generous amount works well when used with a galvanic device!

This product has no harmful ingredients at all. They mention adding superfoods and other good stuff, but I'm just satisfied that there are no bad ingredients. The inclusion of only beneficial ingredients is a definite plus. - No blemishes These days, with the Hwahae app exposing all product ingredients, I know companies are trying to avoid using harmful components. However, even without bad ingredients, if a product causes blemishes, it's a no-go. But this one hasn't caused any blemishes so far. - Absorption True to its 'essence-in-emulsion' name, the texture is thinner than an emulsion but thicker than an essence. Sometimes essences can feel sticky when absorbing, but this one doesn't. It feels like applying an emulsion, but lighter. The experience is refreshing. When patting it in, it absorbs without stickiness, leaving just a slight richness that makes skin feel soft and hydrated. I used Dr. Alga Skin Soothing Gel in summer, which sometimes felt tight after a while, but this doesn't. Its refreshing feel makes it great for summer use.
Cons- Slightly wicked price While 150ml would be a generous amount for an essence, it's a standard volume for an emulsion. Considering this, the price feels a bit steep.
TipI usually apply toner -> skin -> emulsion -> moisturizer, but I've replaced the toner and emulsion steps with this First Essence. While I love its refreshing feel, it's slightly lacking in hydration, so following up with a light moisturizer works perfectly.
