  In my early 20s, I experienced hair loss due to extreme dieting. I thought it would be temporary, but recovery was slow, and my hair became increasingly fine. My mom also has hair loss issues, so genetics likely play a role - I might have experienced thinning even without the diet. I've always had a slightly M-shaped hairline, but as the hair loss progressed, my hairline receded and my forehead appeared wider, causing me a lot of stress. I considered visiting a hair loss clinic, but after reading about potential side effects, I decided against it. Hair loss treatments, whether topical or oral, can cause skin aging, acne, and potential birth defects. My mom's doctor even advised against such treatments for women planning to have children. So, I decided to try a home care routine combining shampoo and scalp massage. With so many hair loss shampoos on the market, it was tough to choose. I settled on Dr. For Hair Bio 3 line because of its clinical results showing a 91.4% reduction in hair loss. They use capsules 2500 times smaller than pores for better absorption. I bought it with cautious hope, and as I used it, I felt my hair becoming stronger. Before, I'd lose so much hair when washing that I always had to clean the drain, but with Bio 3, the shedding noticeably decreased. I'm truly grateful for its effectiveness!

  Cons

  The shampoo has a cooling effect due to its menthol content. On days when my scalp is particularly sensitive (like during seasonal changes), it can sometimes feel a bit itchy after washing. I think this is unavoidable due to my dry scalp. To combat this, I've also purchased a hair tonic that I apply to my scalp.

  Tip

  For preventing and alleviating hair loss symptoms, washing your hair at night rather than in the morning is said to be more effective. However, this isn't always practical when you have to go out. I try to wash my hair in the evening and sleep with it clean on days when I don't have plans to go out. Diet is also crucial for managing hair loss. I'm making an effort to eat more protein and vegetables while avoiding flour-based foods and carbonated drinks. Don't forget to take supplements too!

  I've been consistently using Dr. For Hair products, and this time I switched to Bio3. It feels cooler than the Folligen shampoo, which is perfect for summer use!

  Cons

  Compared to when I used the Folligen shampoo, my scalp seems to get oily faster and there's a slight itchy sensation, unfortunately.

  It lathers up nicely, so the cleansing effectiveness is pretty good. The scent is also pleasant and not off-putting.

  Cons

  I've been using Polygen for a while now, but after some time, I notice a slight itching sensation starting to develop.

  Tip

  Due to the itching, I've started alternating it with Head & Shoulders products, which has helped reduce the irritation.
