ConsWhile it applies thinly and doesn't provide much coverage, I actually prefer that and have been using it regularly.
TipI love that I can apply this alone and then put on sun cushion without any pilling. I'd recommend this to anyone who prefers gentle products.

It applies smoothly even with your hands, leaving skin hydrated without emphasizing dead skin cells. I've tried The Lab by Blanc Doux's toner and cream before, which didn't agree with my skin, so I was worried about this sun essence. Fortunately, it suited my skin well without any adverse reactions! It's also not sticky at all.
ConsThe downside is that, being a sun essence, it tends to get quite oily as time passes - that's the only drawback. Even after applying powder, it becomes quite greasy over time. For those with oily skin, I recommend using only necessary skincare products and not layering too many before applying this sunscreen. And of course, there's the small amount for the price... Also, as it's an essence-type sunscreen, it doesn't provide tone-up correction, so I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for a brightening moisturizer with sun protection.
TipSince it can get oily over time, I suggest keeping your skincare routine simple before applying this product!

Texture: A lightweight, easily spreadable emulsion-like formula that absorbs quickly and feels gentle on the skin. 2. Ingredients: The Lab by Blanc Doux, known for their excellent skin and cream products, uses skin-friendly ingredients in this sun essence. It's moisturizing and contains vitamin capsules that burst upon sun exposure to protect the skin. 3. Cooling effect: Provides a refreshing sensation when applied, cooler than other products! 4. Absorption: True to its 'essence' name, it absorbs seamlessly into the skin, leaving no trace. 5. Ideal for dry skin types.
Cons1. Not recommended for oily skin types, especially in hot summer weather. It can lead to excess shine after makeup application. (Of course, this may vary depending on foundation type and individual skin condition) 2. No brightening effect. If you're looking for a brightening moisturizer, consider other options. *Seems more suitable for winter than summer. Highly recommended for winter use! 3. Price is high compared to the amount of product. It would be great if they could increase the volume. Remember, the best sunscreen is one you can apply generously!
TipHow to use: After thoroughly moisturizing your skin, gently spread and pat the product for absorption. 1. Recommended for: Dry and super sensitive skin 2. Not recommended for: Oily skin (those with oily skin might find it more suitable for winter use)

With the current situation, I can't use sticky sunscreens because they feel suffocating under a mask, but this product is actually quite comfortable.
ConsThere's nothing particularly negative about the product as a sunscreen. Although I received this product for free as part of the Hwahae Testers, I think the quality and price point are just right. However, it's a bit disappointing that it focuses solely on being a sunscreen without any makeup base functions like brightening or blemish correction.
TipThe photo was taken with an iPhone XR camera without any editing. As you can see, I have skin with noticeable pores, so I always use a primer before makeup. Since this product doesn't have primer or makeup base properties, when used alone, my pores are quite visible... But given its lightweight formula, it might work well mixed with other products.

While not as runny as a sun milk, it has the consistency of an essence or cream and doesn't pill. * Pro 2: No eye irritation. I often can't use organic sunscreens due to eye sensitivity, but this one applies well without causing any discomfort. * Pro 3: Comes in a sleek, hygienic tube package that fits comfortably in one hand.
Cons* Con 1: While not a major drawback for me, it doesn't provide any tone correction as there's no white cast at all. It gives a slight glow after application, but this fades quickly. * Con 2: Although 40ml isn't a small amount, it runs out quickly. This might be because its smooth application encourages using more product. The quantity feels a bit low for the price. * Con 3: Some days, it can feel slightly tight after wearing for a while. This is less noticeable with a thorough skincare routine, so even though it's a sun essence, those with very dry skin should pay attention to their base skincare.
TipAs someone with extremely dry skin, The Lab by Blanc Doux products work well for me. I'm currently using their toner and cream. This sun essence seems to pair well with my existing skincare routine. I used to use Dr.G sunscreen due to my sensitive eyes, but while the ingredients were good, it was drying and left a white cast, making it difficult to use in winter. This product is perfect for my dry skin. I'd recommend it more for dry skin types than oily ones. I'll likely repurchase!
