When applied before makeup, it helps the base makeup adhere better and creates a beautiful skin finish, making it a perfect primer substitute. The gentle ingredients allowed me to use it even on sensitive days without any issues. I'm already on my 4th repurchase - it's truly my holy grail!
ConsHowever, it's slightly disappointing that there's almost no brightening or evening skin tone effect, and the small size means it runs out quickly. You might feel like there's not enough product for daily generous application. Still, the texture is so good that I keep reaching for this sunscreen.

If I don't apply emulsion right after showering, my skin feels so tight! I don't have major blemishes, but I occasionally get pustular acne. While my skin isn't particularly sensitive, I've found that tea tree products don't suit me well! Until recently, I had been using 'Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun' sunscreen, so I'll be comparing this product to that one. 1. Texture I really dislike creams with a sticky feeling. Applying a sticky cream in the morning makes my makeup look cakey. Despite applying a generous amount of this sunscreen, it's not sticky at all and has a light texture, which I'm really satisfied with! When applied to the skin, it feels like it creates a protective barrier, which I love. 2. Ingredients I tend to carefully read all the ingredients, and after going through them, I found that there were no ingredients that didn't suit me. The formula is gentle, so I can reapply without any issues (Sometimes, even products with good ingredients can feel greasy when reapplied, even if they have a light texture, but this wasn't the case here). Plus, I've used Alive:Lab's powder before, which was famous for treating skin bumps, and it worked well for me. Overall, it seems like Alive:Lab's products have gentle ingredients.
Cons1. Hydration When applying, it goes on smoothly like a moisturizer, and if you wait a bit after applying sunscreen before putting on makeup, it doesn't cause pilling, which I thought was great. However, as time passed, my skin started to feel tight. As someone with dry skin, this aspect was quite disappointing. 2. Lack of brightening function This could be seen as either an advantage or a disadvantage, but I prefer sunscreens with brightening properties, so I found this disappointing. It truly lived up to its 'natural' claim! There was absolutely no difference between wearing and not wearing the sunscreen. While it might not be suitable as a sunscreen for going out bare-faced, it seems perfect for sun protection alone. 3. Volume The volume doesn't seem that generous for the price. As a student, price is really important to me, and I was surprised to see such a small tube arrive. Even though the ingredients are good, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed about this.
TipAs I mentioned earlier, this sunscreen seems to dry down to a matte finish quite quickly. So, while I used to apply Hanskin once, followed by Dr.G Mild Sun, with this product I'm now applying Hanskin once, Physiogel emulsion lightly twice, and then the Alive:Lab sunscreen. If you have dry skin, you might want to keep this in mind!
