I bought this after watching a YouTube review, and it applies so naturally. That's definitely a plus! Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction after using it. Such a disappointment! - ju*********Combination SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 26, 2021
This is simply the best... I now understand why people spend good money on quality cosmetics. 1. Application: I thought stick foundations would be stiff and quick to set, or super moisturizing but gone in 10 minutes. This one, however, has the perfect consistency and blends beautifully. It's completely changed my opinion on stick foundations. 2. Longevity: I was shocked. I expected it to break down quickly due to its smooth application, but it's incredible. I'm planning to sell all my drugstore foundations that claimed to be long-lasting and break down prettily. This one doesn't even seem designed for oily skin, yet it breaks down looking like you've just spritzed on a dewy mist. Slight fading on the chin and nose due to masks, but easily touched up. 3. Pore coverage: While it can't completely cover my YouTube-worthy large pores on my nose, it does an excellent job on my cheeks! Whether applied directly on porous areas or blended with a brush, it covers well. I'm considering making this my holy grail. I've tried countless cushions and BB creams from popular brands, but only a couple have impressed me as much as this (and they've been discontinued). I won't need to buy any base makeup for at least a year! It's not great on days when I'm tired and my skin is flaky. When my skin isn't in good condition, I get a lot of dead skin cells around my nose, and this foundation doesn't smooth over them well. It covers flakiness on other areas, but on the nose, it tends to emphasize texture and wear off easily. I've realized that buying this high-end product is actually equivalent to the cost of repeatedly purchasing and discarding various drugstore options that don't work out. From now on, I'll be sticking to reputable, professional cosmetics brands for my base makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2021
The coverage is medium to high, and it absorbs better than other stick foundations If you don't prep your skin well, it can pill badly. A brush or sponge is essential Make sure your base is solid - tl*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2020
It absorbs well and provides great coverage. Among stick foundations, it's on the more hydrating side. There seems to be a bit of oxidation, and naturally, its staying power isn't as strong as liquid foundations. It works best when applied over a well-prepped base. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2020
As a guy with combination oily skin, I've tried countless BB creams and foundations. But I've been loyal to this one for about a year now. Here's why: For those of us with oily skin, even with the best foundation and skincare routine, makeup inevitably breaks down. As a man, I can't exactly carry a makeup pouch to touch up at work. So, my main concern was how gracefully the makeup would wear off. This one takes the cake in that department! I apply primer on my nose area where I'm prone to dead skin cells, and on my smile lines where makeup tends to settle. I use a brush and primer from Make Up For Ever too. Since I travel abroad often for work, I stock up at duty-free shops. You can save about $15-20 per product compared to online prices, just FYI! I don't have any major complaints. If you have oily skin, I think you'll be happy settling with this. The price tag might sting a bit, but it lasts me a good 8-9 months! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2020
Decent coverage I'm using it with a brush, and it provides adequate coverage for most blemishes. While using a concealer would be better, you can skip it without it being too noticeable. It even covers redness well. My skin isn't particularly great, but I'm pleased with how well it covers imperfections! The way it fades is beautiful It doesn't settle or clump in areas prone to creasing, like around the nose! When it does fade, there's no darkening, and it's easy to touch up and restore to its original state. Blemishes explode if not removed properly... This seems more severe than usual? It feels like breakouts are more intense compared to other products I've used. + Not recommended if you can't remove your makeup for extended periods (over 8 hours). Hygiene concerns Like all stick foundations, there are hygiene worries if you're not diligent about keeping it and your brush clean. + I thought the inner transparent cap was useless and threw it away... How foolish of me... I recommend thorough cleansing. Not recommended if you can't remove it for over 8 hours... - sh******Dry SkinFeb 22, 2020
Since I have a darker complexion, I found the coverage to be really good I've never had acne even as I approach 30, but after using this, I experienced sensitive skin breakouts for the first time and had to visit a dermatologist. I intentionally bought a stick foundation darker than my skin tone to use for contouring (under the cheeks and on the sides) to make my face look slimmer. However, after using it for a month or two, I started getting late-onset acne. My skin type isn't particularly sensitive, it's slightly dry, and I've never had blemishes from any cosmetics before. This product really didn't agree with my skin at all - af********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2020
This foundation is unlike anything I've tried before. I rarely wear makeup and prefer a natural look with just BB cream, but I still wanted to cover my freckles a bit. This product is perfect for that. I don't apply it all over my face, just lightly on areas with freckles, the bridge of my nose, between my eyebrows, and forehead. It provides moisturizing coverage that allows for a natural-looking complexion. There's nothing to complain about. I hope they continue to release great products like this and don't discontinue it. While using a foundation brush works well, for those who don't wear much makeup like me, you can achieve a really natural look by gently dabbing a small amount on your skin with your fingertips, then blending it out with a puff using light tapping motions. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJan 19, 2020
Among stick foundations that tend to be dry, this one is relatively moisturizing, which suits my dry skin well. Just swipe it on and pat with a puff - done! It's convenient to use and applies thinly, allowing for a natural-looking complexion. While it's a hydrating stick, the coverage is a bit lacking. Also, it runs out quite quickly... haha! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2019
As someone with oily skin, I use this product well regardless of the season! I can't really think of any drawbacks...
