The scent is somewhere between a sweet lemon and citrus fragrance. It has a thin consistency with little wasabi beads inside, which helps exfoliate the scalp. True to Lush products, I love the rich lather it produces. There's a cooling effect that's not just temporary - even after rinsing, your scalp feels refreshed for a few minutes. It's perfect for hot summer days when your scalp feels overheated, leaving you feeling cool and refreshed.
ConsWhile the scent is pleasantly fresh and cool, it's not very strong and doesn't last long. Even after thoroughly rinsing with water, you might still find small wasabi beads here and there when applying conditioner. It requires much more careful rinsing than expected.

I think it contains menthol, so if you enjoy that invigorating sensation like in Head & Shoulders, you'll absolutely love this. The scent is surprisingly pleasant too. It's like a mix of lemon soda with a hint of yogurt, creating a fresh, cool, and slightly sweet aroma. The texture and fragrance remind me a bit of those squeezable gums from childhood. Personally, I'm quite satisfied with the scent. Before this, I was using Daddy-O, and while this shampoo's fragrance doesn't last as long, it leaves my hair less stiff while providing better cleansing effectiveness. It's marketed for oily hair, and I've noticed my scalp stays oil-free longer than before.
ConsIt's the most expensive among Lush shampoos, so the value for money is a bit disappointing. While it's less stiffening than Daddy-O, it still leaves the hair somewhat rigid. You'll need to use a treatment or conditioner after shampooing. The fragrance doesn't last very long, which might be a letdown if scent is important to you.

The citrusy, lemon-like scent is invigorating, and washing your hair with it feels like it's washing away your stress.
ConsUsing this shampoo alone can leave your hair feeling stiff, so applying a treatment to your hair ends is absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, the fragrance doesn't last very long.

The scent is a sweet wasabi fragrance... which I personally found quite appealing.
ConsThe lingering scent fades faster than expected, and the wickedly high price is definitely the biggest drawback...
TipNevertheless, it's a product with a unique and charming fragrance.

It has a unique fragrance. It gives a feeling of becoming healthier.
ConsIt doesn't lather well. It's too expensive. It feels tight on the skin after use. The fragrance fades quickly.

It reminds me of lemon and lime scents. I was a bit concerned about the spiciness since it contains wasabi and has 'wasabi' in its name, but I'm very pleased with the aroma. The Dettol ingredient also gives a refreshing sensation to the scalp. By the way, I recently purchased the Avocado Co-Wash Body Spray, which instantly became my favorite scent. Interestingly, its fragrance is quite similar to this wasabi shampoo - they both have a yogurt-like scent.
ConsCompared to Daddy-O, it's disappointing that the scent doesn't linger much. Although it's 600g, it comes in the same size container as the 500g Rose Jam, Daddy-O, and Dirty shampoos.
