The scent is somewhere between a sweet lemon and citrus fragrance. It has a thin consistency with little wasabi beads inside, which helps exfoliate the scalp. True to Lush products, I love the rich lather it produces. There's a cooling effect that's not just temporary - even after rinsing, your scalp feels refreshed for a few minutes. It's perfect for hot summer days when your scalp feels overheated, leaving you feeling cool and refreshed.
ConsWhile the scent is pleasantly fresh and cool, it's not very strong and doesn't last long. Even after thoroughly rinsing with water, you might still find small wasabi beads here and there when applying conditioner. It requires much more careful rinsing than expected.

The sweet lemon scent is also a mood-lifter.
ConsAfter use, I noticed my hair felt significantly stiffer compared to other products.

ConsThe price is quite steep, so I have to stock up during Lush sales. Also, my hair feels a bit stiff after washing.

It has a green juice-like texture and a citrusy lemon scent, not wasabi as you might expect from the color. It has excellent cleansing effectiveness and provides a slightly cooling, refreshing sensation. The shampoo lathers well and gives a satisfying feeling of thoroughly cleaning the scalp.
ConsHowever, as a side effect, it can make your hair quite stiff - to the point where it feels rough when rinsing. You'll need to use a good conditioner generously with it. I find it strips too much oil from my hair for winter use, so I only use it during spring and summer. Also, it's a bit pricey, so I only purchase it when it's 50% off.

The fragrance is just right - refreshing and sweet, which is surprising because I usually dislike strong citrus scents like lemon or grapefruit. It makes washing my hair a delightful experience. The real star is how it feels when you use it. You know how famous Lush's Big shampoo is, right? I've used about 2-3 bottles of Big, and both contain sea salt. When you lather it up and massage it into your scalp, it feels incredibly refreshing. I think the wasabi and caffeine ingredients make it feel even more invigorating. It leaves my hair feeling so clean and fresh!
ConsIf I had to point out one drawback, it would be the price. Lush products aren't exactly known for being cheap.
TipJust a heads up - since Lush products aim to be eco-friendly and minimize harmful chemicals, your hair might feel a bit drier compared to mainstream shampoos. It's a good idea to use a conditioner or hair essence afterward for extra care! Also, don't forget that Lush has a big Fresh sale once a year. As a die-hard Lush fan, I managed to snag the Wasabi Shan Kui shampoo during this year's Fresh sale!

It's quite effective at removing oil, and thanks to the sea salt, it gives a nice volume boost to your hair! The standout feature is definitely the cooling effect. When you rinse it out, the cooling sensation is incredible, making it perfect for summer use.
ConsWhile it's pretty good at removing oil, it's not quite as effective as Lush's shampoo bar line. And let's talk about the price - it's absolutely wicked on the wallet!

Instead, it offers a refreshing and sweet fruity aroma, reminiscent of a blend of kiwi and lemon - a delightfully crisp fragrance. The product's effectiveness is truly impressive, making me consider repurchasing. However, the price gives me pause. It's particularly recommended for those with thin hair lacking volume. It thoroughly cleanses the scalp, providing a cool, invigorating sensation. This shampoo seems suitable for all scalp types - oily, dry, or sensitive - so it's likely to be well-received by most users.
ConsThe only downside is the steep price point! Especially considering that Lush products in Korea are significantly more expensive compared to other countries, which is my main grievance. I'm curious why they import the products from the UK instead of sourcing ingredients locally and manufacturing in Korea, like they do in some other countries.
TipHere's a pro tip: divide your hair washing into two phases. This method ensures a thorough cleanse and helps conserve shampoo. For the first wash, use a small, coin-sized amount. Lather it in your palms, then massage it into your scalp, focusing on the roots rather than the lengths. Take your time with this step, giving your scalp a thorough massage. Rinse, then repeat with the same amount for the second wash - you'll notice a much richer lather. This technique helps keep your hair cleaner for longer, reduces oiliness, and minimizes odor.

It's so inviting, you can't help but take a deep whiff.
ConsIt's too harsh and irritating for my skin. As someone who doesn't tolerate strong formulas well, I won't be repurchasing.

I think it contains menthol, so if you enjoy that invigorating sensation like in Head & Shoulders, you'll absolutely love this. The scent is surprisingly pleasant too. It's like a mix of lemon soda with a hint of yogurt, creating a fresh, cool, and slightly sweet aroma. The texture and fragrance remind me a bit of those squeezable gums from childhood. Personally, I'm quite satisfied with the scent. Before this, I was using Daddy-O, and while this shampoo's fragrance doesn't last as long, it leaves my hair less stiff while providing better cleansing effectiveness. It's marketed for oily hair, and I've noticed my scalp stays oil-free longer than before.
ConsIt's the most expensive among Lush shampoos, so the value for money is a bit disappointing. While it's less stiffening than Daddy-O, it still leaves the hair somewhat rigid. You'll need to use a treatment or conditioner after shampooing. The fragrance doesn't last very long, which might be a letdown if scent is important to you.

It's more like a lemon-flavored yogurt. The fragrance is absolutely delightful! The shampoo produces a rich lather, giving a refreshing sensation on the scalp and adding volume to the hair while washing. You can feel the exfoliating particles, creating a sense of scalp scaling. It has good cleansing effectiveness, leaving the scalp feeling clean after shampooing. It thoroughly removes oiliness, leaving your scalp feeling fresh. The pleasant scent lingers even after rinsing.
ConsIt's expensive. Lush, please lower the price a bit! Many people have already pointed out the issues with the packaging, so I'll skip that. But thinking of it as a jar-type container makes it even less appealing. I'd prefer an inconvenient cap over this.
TipUsing just the shampoo brings your hair to life with volume. However, if you follow up with a hair mask, it calms down again.
