ConsWhile it absorbs quickly, there's a slightly rich feel when applying. Those who don't prefer products with a rich texture might find this disappointing

Hydration: The moisturizing effect was no joke! There was absolutely no skin tightness, and my face felt incredibly hydrated without needing to apply anything else. Application: It does get a bit white and clumpy when you first apply it, like sunscreen, but aside from that, it spread smoothly. I hate products that don't absorb well or take forever to sink in, but this one absorbed quickly. Longevity: The lasting power was great. I have oily skin, so I don't often feel dryness after applying products, but sometimes I experience tightness after a while with some creams. This one stayed moisturizing until the end without any of that. Skin texture: Some reviews mentioned that it makes your skin feel super soft the next day. While it wasn't dramatically baby-soft, it did leave my skin feeling moisturized, similar to how it feels after using a sheet mask the night before. The scent wasn't unpleasant, and the texture was a bit thick, reminiscent of an ointment or sunscreen.
ConsOiliness: As someone with oily skin, this cream felt too heavy, and over time, the excess oil became overwhelming. Blemishes: While it didn't cause any severe acne, I did notice occasional sebum buildup.
TipRecommended for dry skin

The texture is rich and firm, making my skin feel incredibly hydrated when applied. The tube has a wide opening, which makes it easy to control the amount. It's perfect for daily use - just apply this after your toner and you're good to go!
ConsIt feels like it has more oil than hydration. So while it does feel moisturizing, it's not exactly lightweight. It might be challenging to use in summer, but for those with dry skin or during winter, it's just right.

Even gentle sunscreens that work for my face can cause reactions on other parts of my body. However, when I first tried this on my inner arm, there was no reaction at all! That's how gentle I think this product is. Application: It's fantastic!! I was worried it might feel dry and rough, but it applies so smoothly and feels great. However, there's a slight oily feeling on the face, which I'm not too fond of. Hydration: To be honest, it might be a bit weak for deep winter use in terms of moisturizing. It feels hydrating when you first apply it, but over time, while it doesn't feel particularly dry, it doesn't feel especially moisturizing either. Despite this, it still leaves quite an oily feeling on the face. I tried mixing it with some jojoba oil I had at home, but that made it feel too greasy. It seems a bit tricky to use in the dead of winter.
ConsThe price is too high, unfortunately. As mentioned above, the biggest drawback seems to be the oily feeling. It doesn't feel particularly moisturizing, and instead of being quickly absorbed by the skin, the oil just seems to linger on the face.

It's also fragrance-free, which is great for those with sensitive noses. I've been applying it consistently every day since I received it, and true to its 'Double' name, it seems to have excellent hydrating effects. After application, my skin feels moisturized all day, and my makeup seems to apply better, so I'd recommend using it before makeup too. It's the perfect cream for this dry weather. Especially for combination skin types like mine with sensitive and partially dry areas, this cream feels like an ideal match.
ConsIt seems to be more on the rich side rather than purely hydrating, so it might not suit those with acne-prone or oily skin. The texture of the cream is very soft, but I think it would be even better if it had a slightly more elastic feel. While it feels very hydrating when first applied, as time passes, it's like magic - the oils start to surface!
TipThis cream is perfect for those with dry or combination dehydrated skin to use before applying makeup. Since it's fragrance-free, it doesn't clash with other cosmetics at all.

First off, I tend to get blemishes mainly on my cheeks and chin, but during my period, I always got stressed because I'd break out only on my forehead. I received this product right after my period ended when my forehead was in a bad state with blemishes, so I applied it twice every night after cleansing. To be honest, at the beginning of using it, it felt like my blemishes were getting worse rather than better, so I thought it might not suit my skin. But after a few more days of use, the blemishes disappeared! I'm not sure why it seemed to 'flip' my skin a bit at first, but even if you feel like it's not working well initially, I'd recommend using it for a few more days! The texture feels like a thin cream, but as you apply it to your skin, it becomes more rich. The finish after application isn't super lightweight! My skin tends to feel a bit tight after washing, but even when I used this product alone, my skin didn't feel dry or tight.
ConsRather than being just full of hydration, this product has a bit of richness to it, so I wouldn't recommend it before applying makeup or when going out with just cream and a mask on. If you apply makeup over this, it will definitely cause pilling. When I went out briefly with just this on my bare face, I could feel a bit of oil on my face when I took off my mask.
TipI tried using this product alone for a few days, then used it in a routine of toner pad - essence - this product for a few days. When using it alone, the effects weren't quick to show, but when used with other products, the blemish-calming effect was faster, which I suppose is natural! I tried it alone because I was curious about the effects of just this product, but unless you have oily skin, I think it would be more effective if you use it after other skincare products! Also, when I applied cream after other products, it felt like it created a protective layer on my skin, giving a layered feeling!

My skin type: Sensitive (thin skin) + combination dehydrated skin Advantages: Gentle + Soothing + Skin barrier support The product's greatest strength seems to be its soothing effect and gentle nature. During the recent holiday, my skin became rough due to skipping my skincare routine, but after applying this cream, I could feel my skin texture improving dramatically! Also, when applied thinly as the final step in your skincare routine, it maintains smooth skin until the next morning. Hydration The texture is quite rich, which makes it excellent for hydration! Despite its rich consistency, it doesn't have that typical heavy cream smell or feel stuffy. Instead, it applies smoothly and feels refreshing.
ConsDisadvantages: Rich texture As expected with a cream, it does feel a bit rich, so those with extremely oily skin might want to avoid it. In my case, I noticed a slight oiliness in my T-zone after application.
TipI always use it as the final step in my skincare routine. When applied thinly as the last step, you can feel like it's creating a protective barrier for your skin.

Before I start my review, let me tell you about my skin type. I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive with severe redness. My skin is extremely reactive, so I'm always extra cautious when switching up my skincare or makeup products as my skin can flare up instantly if I choose the wrong one. This time, I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers, and I'm thrilled to say that this product didn't cause any reactions and suits my skin perfectly! For context, my usual routine includes the Nine Wishes Ampule and Cream during the day, with La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 added in the evening. (I mainly use the Nine Wishes Ampule, but occasionally incorporate the Goodal Green Tangerine Serum as well.) With the weather getting drier lately, I've been needing more hydration, but I was worried about using heavier products as they tend to cause breakouts. That's when I discovered CureCode. 1. Absorption When first squeezed onto the back of your hand, it has an ointment-like texture that feels a bit rich. However, once you start massaging it in, it transforms into a moisturizing cream-like consistency. For best results, I recommend really working it into the skin rather than just applying it on the surface. Unlike many thick ointments that can leave a white cast, CureCode doesn't have this issue, which is great. 2. Moisturizing power I'd recommend this for sensitive, combination dehydrated, combination, and dry skin types. Rather than feeling like it's suffocating your skin with a heavy layer, it gives the sensation of strengthening your skin barrier and protecting it. While La Roche-Posay tends to pill under makeup, so I only used it at night, CureCode doesn't have this issue. In fact, it makes my skin feel more supple and hydrated, allowing my makeup to apply even better. These days, I alternate between La Roche-Posay and CureCode at night. 3. Gentleness As I mentioned earlier, my skin is sensitive and combination dehydrated, prone to reactions from the slightest mismatch. CureCode's greatest strength is its gentleness - it's suitable regardless of skin troubles or condition. I consider it a product I can always return to without worry, even after trying other products.
ConsRichness While it provides ample hydration, the inevitable downside is that it can feel a bit rich. When my skin gets too oily, it can clog pores and cause small bumps. On the first day of use, I noticed a bump and thought, 'Oh no, is this not suitable after all?' But these small bumps usually clear up in a day or two. Although it helps balance overall skin condition, I did feel a tiny bit anxious about continuing use the next day, but it turned out fine.
TipIn my experience, it doesn't pair as well with the Goodal Green Tangerine Serum, but it works beautifully with the Nine Wishes Ampule.

Sensitive skin that easily becomes red and itchy when cosmetics don't suit it well. - Application: Despite its ointment-like texture, it spreads evenly and is easy to apply. - Moisturizing power: It feels clean after application due to the absence of unnecessary oils. Might be suitable for oily skin in winter. As someone with dry skin, I preferred the finish compared to other creams that leave a greasy shine (however, I needed to layer another cream for a moisture barrier). Despite having super sensitive skin, I experienced no blemishes at all!
ConsAs I have dry skin, this cream alone wasn't enough. I had to apply another cream with more oil and hydration on top. It might be better suited for summer, and when deep winter arrives, I'll likely prefer a thicker product with stronger moisturizing power.
