Even when I'm in a rush and only apply this with sunscreen before heading out, my skin doesn't feel dry or irritated. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any sticky residue.
ConsIt feels a bit rich on the skin... and the scent isn't my favorite, though it's not overpowering.

It has that unique, dense, and resilient texture typical of barrier creams.
ConsWell, I expected the texture to be heavy since it's a barrier cream, but it didn't suit my sensitive skin. It seemed to increase oiliness rather than help. While my skin did feel firmer after sleeping, I'd wake up with tiny blemishes here and there. Guess it's not for me.

ConsWhile it absorbs quickly, there's a slightly rich feel when applying. Those who don't prefer products with a rich texture might find this disappointing

It has a soothing effect too! Seems like all Cure Code products are gentle and great. The hydration is excellent, making it perfect for daily use. For oily skin types, it provides just the right amount of moisture for winter.
ConsFor those with oily skin, it might be too rich to use in the morning as it can make skin feel greasy, so I only apply it at night. If you have dry skin, the hydration might be slightly insufficient during winter months.

ConsThere's a slightly rich feeling when you wake up in the morning. Use just a small amount.

The texture also feels a bit like hand cream or ointment - thick yet smooth! When first squeezed out, it's soft, but as you apply it, it immediately becomes rich, then absorbs quickly. Because of its richness, you might think it would be heavy, but it's not really. It's a bit ambiguous in every way. I think this would be great to use in winter.
ConsI had high hopes for this barrier-strengthening cream, but the ingredients aren't particularly impressive and it's far too rich... It seems to cause blemishes, then they appear to subside, only to flare up again. I don't think this agrees with my skin, unfortunately.

That's why I always wear a mask in winter to protect against the cold wind. Since my skin lacks both oil and moisture, I always hydrate with two layers of a hydrating toner (adding a serum in winter), then lock in the moisture with a rich cream (or emulsion in summer). This cream, being highly moisturizing, works wonders for those of us with dehydrated skin. After applying sufficient hydration, this cream keeps the skin moist inside without making it too greasy on the surface. Its moisturizing power is comparable to much more expensive creams. The hydration is truly outstanding, and I love that the scent comes from natural ingredients rather than artificial fragrances. Knowing that fragrances can be harsh on the skin, I really appreciate this aspect.
ConsWhile this cream is thick and rich, effectively preventing moisture loss, it could provide even more hydration to make the skin feel even more supple.
TipAs mentioned earlier, if you have dry skin, applying this cream after thoroughly hydrating your skin will effectively seal in the moisture, keeping your skin feeling hydrated.

I usually alternate between hydrating creams and richer ones. This Cure Code product lives up to its 'barrier' name, creating a noticeable moisturizing layer. While not extremely rich, it feels more nourishing than watery. When I had dry patches on my cheeks and chin due to dryness, one layer immediately soothed the dead skin cells and seemed to support my skin. For dry skin types, it might feel light, while oily skin types may find it a bit heavier. The texture reminded me slightly of Greek yogurt and spread smoothly. After applying at night and cleansing in the morning, my skin felt like it had absorbed the product without residue. Even when applied more generously, any morning residue was easily removed with water, so it didn't feel like it was clogging my pores. The packaging is made of a firmer plastic (similar to hand cream tubes) rather than soft, making it easier to control the amount dispensed. This was definitely convenient for application. The moisturizing effect was so good that my skin didn't feel dry even in front of a heater. It was perfect for when a hydrating cream alone wasn't enough. I had heard of Cure Code through social media and knew they were known for regenerative moisturizing products. I'm glad I got to try it out.
ConsWhile it's great for nighttime moisturizing, those with combination skin might find it a bit too rich when used in the morning. Especially for oily skin types, it might feel greasy and potentially cause pilling when applying makeup if you pat or rub too much. I used it sparingly when I wanted a dewy look.
TipFor combination skin, it might be best to use a hydrating cream on oily areas like the forehead and nose, while using this more moisturizing cream on drier areas like cheeks and chin. I found it great for creating an Inner Glow look when applied before makeup on my combination dehydrated skin.

Hydration: The moisturizing effect was no joke! There was absolutely no skin tightness, and my face felt incredibly hydrated without needing to apply anything else. Application: It does get a bit white and clumpy when you first apply it, like sunscreen, but aside from that, it spread smoothly. I hate products that don't absorb well or take forever to sink in, but this one absorbed quickly. Longevity: The lasting power was great. I have oily skin, so I don't often feel dryness after applying products, but sometimes I experience tightness after a while with some creams. This one stayed moisturizing until the end without any of that. Skin texture: Some reviews mentioned that it makes your skin feel super soft the next day. While it wasn't dramatically baby-soft, it did leave my skin feeling moisturized, similar to how it feels after using a sheet mask the night before. The scent wasn't unpleasant, and the texture was a bit thick, reminiscent of an ointment or sunscreen.
ConsOiliness: As someone with oily skin, this cream felt too heavy, and over time, the excess oil became overwhelming. Blemishes: While it didn't cause any severe acne, I did notice occasional sebum buildup.
TipRecommended for dry skin

When applied, it makes your skin feel like a baby's. Generous amount of product.
ConsAbsorbs slowly and feels quite rich. You need to pat it in a lot with your hands for it to absorb. The texture isn't particularly light.
