It's a thumbs up from me - this is the product I've been searching for! Even though I have oily skin, my house is quite dry, so my face always felt tight no matter what I applied. But with this, if I apply a thin layer and then another, it's amazing. There's no stickiness, no scent so it's universally appealing, and the cream spreads evenly without pilling. After application, it feels like I've applied a cream mixed with oil - like there's a protective barrier on my skin. I received samples of the ampoule, gel, and cream, and they're all truly fantastic! Highly recommended!
ConsHowever, those with very oily skin might find it a bit heavy.

Being fragrance-free, it's likely suitable even for those with sensitive noses.
ConsIt feels a bit heavy, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who dislike a weighty feel or for areas with excess oil production.

When I squeeze my cheeks and nose, sebum comes out, indicating oily skin. I also have sensitive skin that easily reacts to external stimuli (I have seborrheic dermatitis on my skin and scalp!). + Application: The application is fantastic! I was surprised when applying it to my cheeks. It glides on smoothly and effortlessly. Irritation? Absolutely none. + Absorption: Being a cream, it doesn't absorb as quickly as an ampoule or serum. However, it's not slow either. When applied and gently patted, it absorbs relatively quickly. + Hydration: As this cream is designed for moisturizing, its hydrating power is excellent! When applied in the morning, my skin doesn't feel dry until evening. I think this cream is best suited for spring, fall, and winter. It might feel a bit heavy for summer use (due to its high moisturizing content). In the depths of winter, using this alone might not provide enough hydration. I believe it works best when layered over a hydrating serum or moisturizer, forming a barrier to prevent moisture loss. + Scent: It's fragrance-free! No scent at all. Those who prefer unscented products will be satisfied! + Blemishes and Ingredients: With my oily skin, I was concerned about stearic acid, which can clog pores. However, contrary to my worries, I didn't experience many blemishes. A small yellow blemish appeared on my chin the first day, but otherwise, no cream-induced blemishes occurred. (Perhaps my skin was just adjusting to the cream.) + Skin Barrier: The key benefit of this cream is the significant reduction in redness!! Weak skin barriers often lead to redness, and as the product description states, this cream strengthens the skin barrier. The effect was very noticeable on my skin. For those who find it suitable, I think you'll see results more in redness reduction than in blemish control! ♡ Honestly, I've seen so many positive effects from this product that I highly recommend it!! + I'll show you the changes in my skin :) The photos are in order: 1. Day 1 -> 2. Day 3 -> 3. Day 5 -> 4. Day 7 -> 5. Day 9. (There are slight lighting differences in each photo.) During the day, I applied COSRX Simple Emulsion, a moisturizer, and this cream. At night, I used Manyo Factory Bifida Complex Ampoule, COSRX moisturizer, and this cream.
Cons+ Those who don't tolerate stearic acid well might want to think twice! (However, most moisturizing creams contain stearic acid, which is unfortunate because it's such a beneficial ingredient.) + For similar reasons, those with extremely oily skin might find it feels heavy due to its rich texture. + While it's really excellent, I do wonder if the price is a bit high for the amount you get. (To be honest, I didn't find many downsides!)
TipUsing this cream after a hydrating serum and moisturizer gives amazing results! I use it with a moisturizer too! The cream applies even more smoothly when used after a moisturizer! ++ Have you heard of the 333 rule for skincare products?!?! 1. Don't apply more than 3 steps. (e.g., serum, emulsion, cream / toner, serum, cream, etc.) 2. Don't use more than 3 brands. 3. (At least) Avoid 3 ingredients. (antioxidants, parabens, synthetic surfactants) I recently learned about this and I'm practicing it for skincare minimalism! Let's all work towards achieving great skin!

So, those of you with extremely combination dehydrated skin like mine know very well that instead of using products packed with just moisture, you need to use products that balance oil and moisture properly! My skincare routine was: Skin pad -> Mung bean emulsion -> Soothing gel -> Double Barrier Cream The most noticeable thing after use is that it's truly gentle! Even when my period was approaching, when I usually get more blemishes and sensitivity, this product caused no irritation or blemishes. I have hand eczema, and even slightly incompatible products can make my hands sting during skincare, but this one is so gentle that I can even apply the excess to my hands. Also, with its appropriate richness, I could balance my skin's oil and moisture! Not all oil is bad oil. Dry and combination dehydrated skin need the right amount of oil to maintain the skin's oil-moisture balance! This product feels like it seals in all the layers of hydration I've applied after cleansing, perfectly coating my skin! I'm very satisfied with it as a winter moisturizer!!!
ConsIt might feel heavy and thick for summer use, so I recommend using it during seasonal changes and winter! Also, you need to fully absorb the previous skincare steps for the cream to absorb without pilling. If you apply it hastily, it might turn white and pill like sunscreen.
TipApply about a fingernail-sized amount! If you use too much, it won't absorb well and will pill.

My first impression of this product was that it felt like a large medicinal ointment, and in practice, both its absorption and application were excellent. Given that I have acne-prone and super sensitive skin, I honestly can't use just any product. However, with this one, I didn't experience any skin issues or breakouts after use. In my personal opinion, it seems suitable for sensitive skin! I've been struggling with deep dryness for a while, and I've tried products like Dr. G Red Bl*** and Physiogel AI ** that are supposed to be good for deep dryness, but strangely they didn't work for me. I was surprised that this product worked so well. Unlike some products that are full of excess oil, the Double Barrier Cream doesn't have that issue. It was perfect for locking in moisture deep down. The scent is almost fragrance-free, and it doesn't pill or cake when applied under makeup. I'm still using it now and plan to continue using it in the future. I hope it doesn't get discontinued!
ConsGiven that it's a daily-use product, the high price point is a bit burdensome, which is unfortunate. Also, while it's fine to use in winter like now, it feels slightly heavy, so it might feel a bit suffocating in summer.
TipThis product feels a bit heavy when applied to the face on its own. So, I recommend layering your skin with toner, emulsion, or serum before finishing with the Double Barrier Cream!

The way it absorbs instantly is truly remarkable. Its absorption is so good that it leaves your skin feeling soft without any stickiness. It feels like it's just filling in with necessary ingredients, as if it's your own skin. That's why it's probably the best product when you're looking for something you can apply right before bed without any sticky or uncomfortable feeling. The product container seems convenient to use up to the last drop. I really liked the user experience of the packaging. If you're looking for something versatile and easy to apply, I don't think you can find anything better than this.
ConsBecause it absorbs so well, it might feel insufficient for those (like me) who prefer a more moisturizing or plumping effect. There is a slight white cast that can make your skin look a bit pale when first applied. (Of course, this disappears as you pat it in to absorb.) When you first put it on your face, the texture feels quite heavy, almost like an ointment.
TipIt's easy to layer with other products. If price isn't an issue, this would make an excellent body emulsion as well.

My skin looks a bit red because I recently extracted some blemishes. Overall, I have blemish-prone skin with scarring and combination skin type! Texture: It's somewhat thick, with a slightly heavy feel. But it's not super dense! When applied, it feels like it creates a protective layer on the skin, which can feel a bit suffocating but also gives the sensation of building a skin barrier, just like its name suggests. Due to its heavier texture, it might be a bit much for summer use. Blemishes/Soothing: This product isn't specifically designed for blemish control or soothing, so I didn't notice significant effects in that area. However, as someone with severe deep dryness, I found it quite good. It creates a protective layer, provides moisturization (not just hydration, but true moisturization!), and helps manage my deep dryness to some extent. As mentioned earlier, the heavier texture might be a bit much for summer, but it's perfect for winter! Skincare routine: Since I have acne-prone combination dehydrated skin, I focus on soothing and moisturizing in my routine! After cleansing (I use Dokdo Cleansing Foam, by the way), I follow this order: toner -> aloe gel -> serum (I've tried various serums, but COSRX Pure Fit Cica Serum is the best, though pricey) -> emulsion (I mix cream with 2 drops of camellia oil for amazing moisturization) -> finally, the Cure Code Double Barrier Cream.
ConsWhile there's nothing particularly uncomfortable or bad about it, I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types. Also, it's just a feeling, but when I apply this product, my face feels a bit suffocated, like my pores are clogged? (I looked it up after feeling this way, and it does contain some pore-clogging ingredients!) So, I wouldn't recommend it for summer use, oily skin, or combination dehydrated skin either! If they could make it just a bit lighter, I'd be willing to repurchase!

I constantly deal with blemishes, and my sensitive skin experiences flare-ups of dermatitis depending on its condition. Photo description: The before photo shows my skin prior to application, while the after photo is taken after several days of use. The small bumps along my jawline have noticeably calmed down, and the dryness has significantly decreased. Both photos are unedited and taken with the iPhone's default camera. The first thing I loved was the ingredients! Being sensitive, I always check the ingredients before use, and this cream's gentle formula caused no irritation. With winter dryness, I used to only apply gel creams, but this Double Barrier Cream was a game-changer. My skin used to get flaky and makeup would separate quickly due to dryness, but with this cream, my makeup stays put and my skin remains hydrated. I highly recommend applying it before makeup! I expected the texture to be thick, but it absorbs surprisingly smoothly without feeling too rich. The scent is almost non-existent, making it suitable for those sensitive to fragrances. After application, I noticed my scars slightly fading and my skin looking healthier overall! When I apply it before bed, I wake up to find that potential blemishes have been kept at bay!
ConsIn the morning, it's crucial to control the amount! I made the mistake of applying too much once, and it felt a bit heavy. It's fine to use a generous amount before bed though.
TipApplying it as the final step on irritated skin provides a soothing effect by the next day. Mixing the Double Barrier Cream with Centella powder helps calm the skin after extracting blemishes. Using it before makeup application improves makeup adherence.

The cream has a rich texture and absorbs well into the skin! When applied as the final step in your skincare routine, it keeps your skin hydrated all day long. What surprised me most is how effective it was for my acne-prone skin! I haven't been using it for long, but after applying it morning and evening, I could feel my closed comedones gradually disappearing. I'm absolutely thrilled with this product!
ConsThe cream feels a bit heavy and suffocating. I suppose because it's so moisturizing, it has a high oil content, which made my skin feel slightly uncomfortable when I first applied it.
TipApply generously to your face before bed, and you'll wake up with incredibly hydrated and soft skin! When used as a base before foundation, it really helps your makeup go on smoothly and last longer!

On days when my complexion is in top form, I can even skip primer. While it's great for nighttime care, it's an absolute must-have for my morning makeup routine. I simply can't do without it when I need to put my face on.
ConsIt's incredibly good, but I'm worried it might be discontinued because not many people know about it. That makes me a bit anxious.
TipAn essential base product before applying makeup...
