I have sensitive skin with redness, and usually anything I apply makes me itch, but not this product.
ConsThere weren't any issues. If I had to nitpick, there's a slight ointment-like scent, but it's not bothersome.

I have combination dehydrated skin, and this isn't too greasy. It leaves my skin feeling matte on the outside while keeping it moisturized inside. The hydration lasts until the next morning. - I have super sensitive skin, but this is so gentle that it doesn't cause any blemishes!
ConsWhat could be improved: - It comes in a small tube like an ointment, but the price isn't particularly cheap for the amount you get. - The scent is somewhat heavy and artificial-smelling...

It's not stiff when applying, making it very easy to use. The formula doesn't pill, making it perfect for reapplication whenever your skin feels dry. Hydration: I initially thought barrier creams were typically quite oily, but this one has a texture between an emulsion and a cream, making it suitable even for those with oily skin. I was pleased that it didn't become greasy over time, and I felt it provided hydration while creating a protective layer on the skin.
ConsThe cream's scent is quite strong compared to other skincare products these days. It has that typical cosmetic fragrance, so those who dislike strong scents should be cautious.

My skin is sensitive with rosacea, prone to severe redness. Especially in winter, my skin easily becomes dry, rough, and flaky. But this barrier cream seems to truly strengthen the skin barrier! The texture is very rich, as shown in the photo. When applied, it definitely calms down dead skin cells with a slightly heavy consistency that's perfect for winter use. It's great for hydration, soothing the skin, and even seems to reduce redness a bit! It appears to be effective for deep hydration too. Above all, I appreciated how gentle it is, likely because it's designed for sensitive skin. I think I'll see even more definitive results after using it for over 4 weeks.
ConsThere weren't many downsides, but if I had to point out one, it would be the slightly odd scent. It's almost fragrance-free, but there seems to be a faint artificial smell.

Comes in a tube for hygienic use! 2. Looks like an ointment but absorbs incredibly fast! 3. Unlike other ointments or thick creams, it doesn't cause pilling when applying makeup!!!! (Perfect for morning makeup routines!!) 4. No sticky feeling! Doesn't leave residue on hands 5. Comfortable to use without any itchy sensation!
Cons1. The ointment-like scent 2. Slightly lacking in hydration and richness for combination dehydrated skin 3. The price is...
TipIt works well when used together with a hydrating essence or gel moisturizer for a complementary effect!

My skin type is dry, but using products that are too rich can cause blemishes, so balancing oil and moisture has been crucial for me. That's why I was looking for a cream that wasn't too heavy but could still be applied lightly. This product fits the bill perfectly. I tested it alone and in my daily routine, and I never felt any deep dryness or tightness. As someone with super sensitive skin, I typically stick to gentle, slightly acidic products, and fortunately, the Double Barrier Cream suited my skin well. (However, since everyone's skin type is different, I recommend carefully checking the ingredients before purchasing!)
ConsIf I had to pick something, there was a slight rubber-like scent when smelling the product up close, but it wasn't noticeable or bothersome during application.
TipAs I mentioned earlier, applying hydrating products first and then using the Double Barrier Cream as a final layer helped maintain long-lasting moisture without any feeling of tightness.

I was worried the cream texture might be too oily or heavy, but I was pleasantly surprised by how cleanly it absorbs. ✓ It effectively combats dryness. I have combination dehydrated skin, so I only use cream at night. Many creams I've tried just create a surface film and don't address deep dryness. This one doesn't leave that awkward film feeling and simultaneously tackles deep dryness, which I love. ✓ The ingredients are excellent. Being a dermatological product, I had some expectations, but it's even gentler than I anticipated, causing no irritation.
Cons✗ As many people think, the price seems to be the biggest drawback. However, as ingredients improve, the price inevitably increases. The only solution seems to be using it sparingly. ✗ There's no strong scent, but there's a subtle ointment-like smell. It's not bothersome, but if I had to pick a flaw, that would be one. ✗ It's definitely a bit heavy for oily skin types. Now that I'm getting older and experiencing more dryness, it's fine for me, but I wouldn't recommend this product for younger people with combination dehydrated skin.
TipThis product spreads thinly and evenly with just a small amount, so I'm trying to apply it sparingly, considering the price. It's perfect for the dry winter weather, so I'll be using it diligently throughout the winter.

I noticed that when I applied this after my lighter creams, it reduced the burning sensation on my skin. It also felt like it provided great hydration!! While it's rich, it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy or suffocating. It absorbs well without being sticky, which I found very satisfying.
ConsIt has a medicinal scent, similar to what you might smell when applying ointment. If you're not a fan of that kind of smell, I'd recommend giving this one a pass.

However, I was surprised by how well it absorbs. It finishes with a slightly powdery feel and absorbs relatively quickly, so it's not sticky. The scent is reminiscent of ointment but it's subtle and not bothersome. I usually don't do well with rich, greasy products that clog pores. But if I use products that are too light, they're not enough... It's hard to find the right balance, but this product managed to address my terrible deep dryness without causing any blemishes. That was what I liked most about it. Recently, I've been using the Round Lab Birch Cream during the day and this product at night. This combination works well for me, so I think I'll continue with this routine for a while. I received this as a prize, but it suits me better than I expected, so I'm thinking of purchasing it when I run out.
ConsI haven't found any downsides yet. If I had to pick something, maybe the ointment smell?
TipYou can mix it with aloe to apply it more lightly and smoothly, like a gel cream.

Because of this, I haven't been able to use any skincare products other than the prescribed atopic emulsion and cream. Then I won a Hwahae survey event and got to try this product. I've been using it for two weeks now, and there's absolutely no irritation! To be honest, I was a bit worried at first, but now I'm applying it generously. It has a slight medicinal scent, which actually reassures me that it doesn't contain unnecessary fragrances. The hydration level is perfect for winter - I'd give it 5 stars! It seems to be great for balancing oil and moisture too! Overall, it's a very gentle product with excellent hydration, and I'm extremely satisfied with it.
ConsGiven that it's a rich, moisturizing cream, its absorption and spreadability aren't exceptional. However, for this type of formula, it absorbs fairly quickly within a few minutes, so it's not inconvenient. While I was okay with its unique medicinal scent, some people might find it a bit off-putting.
TipIf you apply it generously before bed, your skin becomes plump and the deep dryness is reduced. It's my current go-to night care routine. And when applied in the morning, it creates a great base for makeup!
