Great ingredients and excellent cleansing effectiveness. While many products with good ingredients often use artificial fragrances, this one has a subtle, natural basil scent, which is a plus. Though it's pricey, compared to other soaps with similar ingredients, it's not overly expensive. The soap doesn't soften quickly and produces a good lather for a long time. Due to concerns about environmental hormones, I've tried various no-poo methods and other shampoos. Before this soap, I was alternating between Dove Sensitive and soybean shampoo. This soap's cleansing power is far superior to Dove Sensitive - when I went back to Dove, I actually experienced blemishes on my scalp. As you use the soap, it may develop cracks when it dries out, which might make you think it won't lather well. However, this doesn't actually affect its ability to produce a good lather. It feels refreshing and nice to massage the area where your neck connects to your head while shampooing. - co*****Combination SkinMay 3, 2023
It doesn't soften easily and stays firm. The grip feels nice, that's about it... Maybe it'll last a long time? What could be an advantage might turn into a disadvantage. It really doesn't lather up. I mean, it absolutely refuses to foam. It lathers so poorly (I've tried numerous shampoo bars over the years) that I gave up and went back to using my regular shampoo at home. While it's nice that it doesn't soften, the lack of lather means it doesn't clean well. After washing, my hair still smelled, so I had to wash it again on two separate occasions. So I'll probably use it for washing dolls or something, but not for my hair anymore. - ty*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJan 23, 2023
The cleansing effectiveness was great, and I appreciated the added benefit of being able to massage my scalp while washing. At first, it felt refreshingly clean and I enjoyed the daily scalp massage. However, I gradually noticed my scalp becoming itchy and sensitive. Normally, I can go two days without washing my hair and not experience any greasiness, but with this product, my hair became oily after just one day - something I've never experienced before. As the situation worsened, I had to stop using it. I think it might be better suited for special care rather than daily use. Rather than using it daily, I recommend using it as a special care massage treatment 1-2 times a week in winter, depending on your scalp type. - ma*********Dry SkinRecommendedNov 22, 2022
I've been using these two products for over a month, and I'm here to give you my honest review! Do you know how refreshing it is to massage with this while showering? I've discovered a whole new world. It would make an amazing gift for friends - I wish I could be my own friend just to receive the Resaltz massage soap! What a thoughtful person I'd be! Anyway, I've fallen head over heels for the Resaltz soap. You're responsible for stealing my heart! The price is a tad high. If it were just ten dollars, I'd stock up on these! I went through mine in about 2-3 weeks. Resaltz has become a brand I truly adore! Save on shipping by buying two at once! - tu*********Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 30, 2022
I had never used a shampoo bar before, but I received one as a gift and was excited to try it. I was particularly pleased to learn that it's a vegan and eco-friendly product. The shape is like a water droplet, and they apparently have a design patent for it. While I was initially skeptical about how special the design could be, I found the size fits comfortably in hand. I expected it wouldn't lather much, but I was surprised by how well it foamed up, creating rich and soft bubbles. The scent was a subtle hint of mint, which was pleasant. It cleansed my hair effectively without leaving it feeling greasy. Overall, receiving this gift really brightened my day. I'm considering giving Resolts products as gifts to friends in the future. It can be a bit harsh if you rub it directly on your scalp. It would be great if they could include a soap saver bag with the product. - be*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 27, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

This product has excellent cleansing power and the clean feeling lasts long. I'm satisfied! I'm considering repurchasing because of its cleansing effectiveness! Skin and Scalp Care ★★★★☆ I'm prone to blemishes on my scalp, jawline, and back of neck if a shampoo doesn't suit me, but I didn't experience any such issues with this product. While I'm not sure if it has any special soothing effects, I'm satisfied! Softening? ★★★★☆ I've used shampoo bars from other brands that became too soft, wore out quickly, crumbled into pieces, and made a mess in the bathroom. This product maintains a good firmness, so it seems like it will last longer and stay neat. Fragrance ★★★★★ Personally, I absolutely love this scent. It's wonderful how the refreshing aroma fills the entire bathroom. It's almost like having a diffuser. Lather ★★★★ (It's a bit tricky at first, but after a few days of use) While it's not super easy to lather up, once you do, it produces a rich, abundant foam. Especially when rubbed directly on the scalp, it creates so much lather that you could wash your whole body with it. It almost feels wasteful how much foam it produces! Initial Use Difficulty ★★★ When I first opened the package and used it, it was so dry that it barely lathered, making my arms tired and extending my shampooing time. As you use it more, the product absorbs some water and softens, making it easier to lather! Rinsing ★★★ It rinses off cleanly, leaving a squeaky-clean feeling. It might feel a bit stiff, but not to the point where your hair tangles, so it's easy to rinse out. Hair Conditioning ★★★ While it doesn't significantly improve hair condition, it seems to maintain the status quo. Even when wet, your hair doesn't tangle much. Fragrance Longevity It's disappointing that the scent disappears after 1-2 weeks... The fragrance is really lovely. 1. Recommended for those with oily scalps and sensitive skin. 2. When first opening the product, try soaking it in water and leaving it in the bathroom for a few days before use for a better experience! 3. While you can rub the shampoo bar directly on your scalp or use it with a lather net, I find it more convenient and economical to lather the bar in my hands first and then apply the foam to my hair. 4. The packaging is unique and pretty. The scent is also nice. It seems perfect as a gift for friends interested in zero waste. - ki********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 24, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's amazing how you can massage your scalp while washing your hair. Surprisingly, after using it, my scalp doesn't itch at all. It's a bit disappointing that hair tends to stick to the shampoo bar quite often. Also, the scent is slightly overwhelming and makes me feel a bit dizzy. - mi********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 23, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I wondered, 'Why do we need solid shampoo?' and decided to give it a try with this question in mind. - Packaging: I loved how clean and minimalist the case was. - Scent: The musk fragrance is incredibly strong - I could smell it even before opening the package! It was so potent that I left it on my vanity for a few days as a makeshift air freshener before using it. I personally enjoy musk scents, but those who dislike strong fragrances might find it polarizing. - Lather: Naturally, it produces less foam than liquid shampoo. However, massaging my scalp with the bar instead of scratching with my fingers seemed to cause less damage to my scalp and felt somehow more refreshing. Now I'm curious about Resorts' gua sha cleansing bar! The solid shampoo definitely produces less lather than liquid alternatives. Also, the strong scent might not be everyone's cup of tea. - While I haven't used it for long enough to offer major tips, here's what I've found helpful: Try to work up as much lather as possible with wet hands, distribute it over your scalp, then gently massage any itchy spots with the shampoo bar. It feels so refreshing! I especially enjoy massaging the nape of my neck and the dip at the base of my skull - it's incredibly soothing. You should definitely give it a try! - ka******Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 20, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

These are the experiences of three people who diligently used and reviewed this product. It was my first time using a shampoo bar. My biggest concern before use was how to store it if it softened in water. The conclusion: no worries at all. Advantages: 1. It doesn't soften easily. 2. It lathers incredibly well. 3. True to its 'scaling bar' name, it controls scalp oil, leaving a clean feeling all day long. 4. Despite the rich lather, it doesn't deplete as quickly as expected. This justifies the price. 5. The scent might be polarizing. Personally, I like the natural fragrance. Those who prefer floral or sweet scents might not enjoy it. 6. Since my late 30s, my hair has thinned and volume decreased significantly. This sparked my interest in anti-hair loss shampoos, and I've tried almost all the popular brands. Prices ranged from $30 to $100 per liter. However, none were 100% satisfactory. Some even seemed to increase scalp sebum, leaving an oily smell after use - you can usually tell after about two uses. I seem to have a very sensitive scalp prone to quick pimple formation. But with this product, I've used it about 10 times over two weeks. While it leaves my scalp refreshed, I noticed my hair becoming stiff, so I alternated with another shampoo every third day. Still, its cleansing power is unparalleled. Notably, my middle school son's crown no longer smells; instead, it's fragrant. Drawbacks: 1. Fragrance: It might not be for everyone, but this is common with all products. 2. Unlike cleansing bars that can be used for gua sha, it would have been great if the scalp bar had bumps for scalp massage - a two-in-one benefit. I was tempted to use the shampoo bar on my face. 3. While it leaves the scalp refreshed and clean, it can make hair stiff. I had to apply hair essence afterward. 4. Honestly, I wish it were larger for the price, or that it was a bit cheaper. That's just my personal desire, but I hope there will be various promotions and good deals in the future. For those who don't like the fragrance but want to enjoy the product's benefits: First, use the scaling bar for a thorough cleanse, then follow up with your preferred scented shampoo. This way, the fragrance lasts longer. Alternatively, you can use a hair perfume. The bar creates a clean base, allowing fragrances to be released without any oily smell. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 20, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Compared to regular shampoo bars, it leaves my hair feeling less stiff after washing! My scalp has a history of seborrheic dermatitis and produces an excessive amount of oil, causing my hair to become greasy within a day. Unfortunately, it seems to make my hair greasy even faster than regular shampoo, so I might not be able to continue using it. Also, the hassle of working up a lather is making me stick to liquid shampoo... Make sure to place it on a soap dish!
