With the warmer weather, I was searching for newly released sunscreens when I realized I should review my favorite sunscreen. So, I'm here to write about Dr.G's Buddy Up Sun.

While I use any sunscreen with good absorption for other seasons, whether it's an emulsion or stick type, I always opt for waterproof products in summer due to my tendency to sweat a lot. I always carry both a stick and cream in my bag, with the Buddy Up Sun being my go-to cream type.

This product is even more powerful as it's sweat-proof. It absorbs well, has great staying power, and the scent isn't overwhelming, which is why I keep using it. It adheres to the skin without excessive shine, making it a summer essential.

Being unscented, the characteristic sunscreen smell might feel unpleasant if you're not used to it. At first, it was fine, but about a month into using it, my skin seemed to have become more sensitive and I started feeling a slight burning sensation. I think it's because the product has such strong sun protection, but it seems like you need to be extra careful with skincare to prevent your skin from becoming sensitive.

I'm using this for the second time after repurchasing. It's sweat-proof, making it suitable for workouts. I'm extremely sensitive to eye irritation, but this is one of the few sunscreens I've used without any issues. There's no white cast, and after application (for dry skin), it doesn't feel greasy or heavy. It doesn't leave a dry feeling either, but rather finishes with a soft, matte texture. I think even men could use this without any problems.

Apply the sunscreen quickly after your skincare routine. I usually take a long time between applying my skincare and sunscreen, which can make the application a bit matte. It's better to finish with the sunscreen quickly while there's still some moisture on your face for better absorption.

For dry skin - feel free to apply generously. For normal skin - generous application is fine too. For oily or combination skin - just reduce one step in your skincare routine for the T-zone before applying. I didn't realize the delivery had arrived, so I'm writing this review a bit late!

As someone with combination skin, my T-zone tends to get quite oily (though it could be due to dehydration). When I applied it to my forehead, I did notice a slightly rich texture. It doesn't seem to control oil very well.

Oh my goodness! This sunscreen feels so soft and moisturizing. I'm not a fan of overly oily formulas, but this product has a strong hydrating sensation that I prefer over others. There's a faint wood glue smell initially, but it's not overpowering. I personally disliked the original Mild Sun scent, so if I were to buy a Dr.G sunscreen, I'd still choose this one (both a pro and con, perhaps?).

Not sure why they went with fluorescent yellow, but it makes the product look slightly cheaper. When you open the box, there's blue ink with yellow text, and the blue ink smell was quite strong. But I suppose it's okay if it's eco-friendly?

Despite containing zinc oxide and titanium oxide, which are mineral sunscreen ingredients, it applies incredibly smoothly and feels moisturizing.
☆Minimal white cast
Most mineral sunscreens leave a white cast, but this one gives more of a brightened skin look after washing your face.
☆Non-greasy, soft and moisturized finish
After application, it feels moisturizing. There's slight transfer if you put your phone against your face immediately, but over time it sets to a soft finish that's neither matte nor oily - perfect!
☆High SPF and PA ratings 
As it's designed for golfers, it's great for reducing stress about outdoor activities by minimizing thermal aging and UV damage.
