Leaves skin feeling refreshed.
ConsThose with dry skin might find it a bit lacking in moisture.

The texture is like a moisturizer, so it spreads smoothly without feeling heavy, which means less pilling. That's a plus. I love that it's fragrance-free! There's no artificial scent added, just the typical sunscreen smell, which you can only detect if you put your nose right up to it. This makes it suitable even for those with fragrance sensitivities. The Braille labeling is impressive! I was surprised when I felt something protruding when opening the cap, but then I realized it was Braille. While I don't personally need it, I appreciate the thoughtfulness. It would make a great gift. It's gentle on the skin, which I love! I have combination skin that's prone to blemishes, but even after wearing this out and cleansing, there's no redness or irritation at all.
ConsThe price is quite steep! As a Hwahae Tester, I enjoyed using it for free, but when considering purchasing, the price gives me pause. It feels a bit drying! The initial application is smooth, but it absorbs quickly and then leaves a slightly dry feeling. I worry my face might feel tight if I'm out in the sun. The cap is stiff! While it's probably for safety reasons, I've never had issues with poorly closed caps before, so I question if it's really necessary.

If you really try to smell it, it's not completely fragrance-free, but it's very subtle. • Nozzle - The narrow opening means it's unlikely to leak. • Texture - I thought it would be thick, but it has a nice consistency that's easy to apply. It's not too runny or too thick, so you can spread it thinly. It does have a slightly oily feel, which probably helps with the smooth application. It's not overly greasy, but if you're looking for a matte finish, you might be disappointed... However, you can always set it with powder, so I don't consider this a major drawback. • White cast - There is a bit of a white cast. You don't really notice it while applying, but when you look in the mirror afterwards, you can see a slight whitening effect. If you dislike white cast, you might want to apply it very thinly. However, this seems inevitable for sunscreens with high SPF. Sunscreens without white cast usually don't offer enough protection for outdoor activities... • Makeup compatibility - Foundation applies well over it because it's not matte. I liked that it wasn't matte. It creates a nice base for makeup!! While the slightly oily feel is a bit disappointing... since we need to powder at the end anyway due to masks, I don't think it's a real drawback. However... the white cast does make your foundation shade appear half to one shade lighter. If you're applying makeup over this sunscreen, you'll need to account for this..
ConsThere is a bit of a white cast. It's not as stark white as old-school sunscreens though. It just leaves your skin looking slightly paler after application. Also, when worn alone, it can transfer a bit when touched!! You might need to apply it thinly or set it with powder for better staying power.
TipIf you're planning to apply makeup, use a thin layer!! Make sure to blend your base makeup well for good adherence!!

The texture is neither too runny nor too thick, making it easy to apply. There's also no white cast.
ConsWhen used with other makeup products, there might be some pilling. After applying this sunscreen, I put on a brightening moisturizer, and it was fine at first. However, after wearing a mask and working for a few hours, I noticed some residue when I took the mask off. This didn't happen when I used other products.

It's eye-catching, making it easy to find in my cosmetics bag. Application: It spreads smoothly and thinly with a lovely moisturizing feel. As someone who absolutely hates thick, heavy formulas, I was pleased to find this one isn't sticky at all and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Subtle brightening effect: It seems to have a slight brightening effect. It's not dramatically whitening, just a subtle glow-up for the complexion.
ConsOiliness: Unfortunately, it leaves a greasy feeling on the skin. Even though it applies thinly, the oiliness remains. I tried patting it in, which helped a little, but it's still disappointing. Sensitivity: It stings on acne scars, which is unexpected given the good ingredients. I'm not sure why this happens. Dust magnet: It tends to attract dust, though it brushes off easily. Still, it's a bit annoying. Pilling: If you apply makeup over this sunscreen, it pills terribly. I use the Clio Kill Cover Fixer Cushion, and well... let's just say this sunscreen is best used on its own. Overall, I had high hopes for Dr.G, but honestly, it fell short of my expectations. It's a disappointing product for me overall. Maybe I'm just too picky, but I'll try to make the best of it.
TipFor those determined to use this before makeup, I recommend applying a small amount on the back of your hand first, then using your fingers to spread a thin layer. This method seems to reduce pilling somewhat.

I thought it might look greasy after application, but it actually finished with a slightly matte feel. Many sunscreens make your skin oily, but this one doesn't, which I really appreciated. Even though it has a matte finish, it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry underneath! Also, given its name 'Nice Buddy Up', it lived up to expectations with good staying power even when sweating a bit during outdoor activities. It really lives up to its name!
ConsI didn't have any particular issues. While it works well for me, those who dislike the white cast from sunscreens might not find this product suitable. It's not severe, but there is a slight brightening effect that evens skin tone.

It also felt less clumpy and didn't leave an excessively greasy finish. It's suitable for most skin types, unless you have extremely problematic skin. # Subtle white cast This may vary from person to person, but it's great for those who dislike a strong white cast. It leaves only a faint, not overpowering, whitish tint. However, if you prefer sunscreens with a more noticeable white cast for tone correction, you might find this too subtle. # Compact design As it's marketed for outdoor activities, it seems designed with portability in mind, offering a travel-friendly size and good grip. While the small size might not be the best value for money, it's excellent in terms of portability. I also appreciated how securely the cap fastens. Additionally, it dispenses well, not releasing too much product at once.
Cons# Thorough cleansing required Although I couldn't test its waterproof capabilities due to cold weather, the lingering, slightly heavy feeling typical of Dr.G sunscreens suggests it's not easily removed. This means you'll need to pay extra attention to cleansing. Unless using an oil-based product, I felt it required double cleansing for complete removal. # Ambiguous white cast As mentioned earlier, the level of white cast might be insufficient for those hoping to even out their complexion with sunscreen alone. You'd need to apply additional products for proper tone correction. However, it's not entirely without a white cast, so those who dislike any hint of whiteness might still be dissatisfied.
TipIt can be easily applied using a silicone puff or your hands. Pay special attention to cleansing after use.

The fact that it's not sticky is crucial, and I love how it adheres perfectly to the face without making makeup look patchy. I think I'll get a lot of use out of this!
ConsThere's a bit of concern about the cleansing process! Since it seems to adhere well to the skin, you'll need to pay extra attention when removing it.
TipThe formula spreads easily, so I recommend using just a small amount - a little goes a long way!

After some time, the shininess goes away. It has a moist emulsion texture with some richness, but feels less sticky. It's best not to apply too many layers. I like that it's rich enough to prevent any tightness or dryness when applying. Especially great that there's no white cast (though most sunscreens these days probably don't have that issue). Recommended for those with dry skin.
ConsI tried it on my face. First off, it's quite rich. It's shiny when applying and remains shiny afterwards. The shininess makes my face look a bit darker...
