With the warmer weather, I was searching for newly released sunscreens when I realized I should review my favorite sunscreen. So, I'm here to write about Dr.G's Buddy Up Sun. While I use any sunscreen with good absorption for other seasons, whether it's an emulsion or stick type, I always opt for waterproof products in summer due to my tendency to sweat a lot. I always carry both a stick and cream in my bag, with the Buddy Up Sun being my go-to cream type. This product is even more powerful as it's sweat-proof. It absorbs well, has great staying power, and the scent isn't overwhelming, which is why I keep using it. It adheres to the skin without excessive shine, making it a summer essential. There are no downsides. However, since the product description mentions golf, I hope those who aren't interested in golf will still try this powerful sweat-proof sunscreen. (It's especially necessary for those who enjoy sports and active lifestyles.) Double cleansing is a must when removing this product. Buy two - keep one for carrying around and one at home. Its small size makes it perfect for on-the-go. I'm using this for the second time after repurchasing. It's sweat-proof, making it suitable for workouts. I'm extremely sensitive to eye irritation, but this is one of the few sunscreens I've used without any issues. There's no white cast, and after application (for dry skin), it doesn't feel greasy or heavy. It doesn't leave a dry feeling either, but rather finishes with a soft, matte texture. I think even men could use this without any problems. Being unscented, the characteristic sunscreen smell might feel unpleasant if you're not used to it. At first, it was fine, but about a month into using it, my skin seemed to have become more sensitive and I started feeling a slight burning sensation. I think it's because the product has such strong sun protection, but it seems like you need to be extra careful with skincare to prevent your skin from becoming sensitive.

The color is pretty. The texture is just right too. Good, good, good! Though I think the light green one is even better. Seems like this was made by someone who doesn't play golf. When golfing, we don't use sunscreen like this. We prefer spray types or sun sticks because we don't want it getting on our club grips. As someone who prefers hybrid sunscreens, I carefully chose this after much consideration. I have slightly oily skin as a man, and this gives a nice brightening effect. At first, it felt a bit rich and seemed to have a white cast, but as time passed, it naturally evened out my skin tone and left my skin feeling fresh. What I love most is its long-lasting effect. I've finally found my go-to sunscreen! Highly recommended! Since I use it generously every day, I wish it came in a larger size! I have combination, sensitive, acne-prone skin with folliculitis here and there. I applied this to my face. First, the absorption: ★★★★☆ In my opinion, it's quite good. It applies smoothly and feels moisturizing. After a while, there's a slight shine, but when you touch your face, it's not oily, just hydrated. At first, I thought it was greasy, but I was wrong. I'm satisfied. Staying power: ★★★★★ The longevity is top-notch. With other sunscreens, I need to reapply as they break down, but with this one, there's no need. Blemishes: ★★★★★ My skin usually reacts badly to new products, so I haven't found a suitable sunscreen until now. I nervously applied this for a day or two, but so far, no blemishes! I think I've finally found my match. I'm so grateful to Hwahae for introducing me to this sunscreen. Waterproof: ★★★★★ I go snowboarding in winter. It's a cold outdoor sport, but you get really hot and sweaty. I've checked after several runs down the slope, and this sunscreen doesn't budge at all. It's seriously amazing! I gave 5 stars for being waterproof in the pros, right? Well, now removing it is the issue, haha! After experiencing such staying power, I'm not sure if it's properly removed and feel anxious about leftover residue. The scent... I'm really sensitive to smells... It should be fine for those who aren't sensitive to fragrances. Despite this, I'm still willing to buy it with my own money. Apply the sunscreen quickly after your skincare routine. I usually take a long time between applying my skincare and sunscreen, which can make the application a bit matte. This sunscreen feels so soft and moisturizing. I'm not a fan of overly oily formulas, but this product has a strong hydrating sensation that I prefer over others. The best part is that it doesn't irritate my skin at all! It would be great for those with sensitive or delicate skin, though if you have oily skin, it might be a bit much for summer use. As someone with combination skin, my T-zone tends to get quite oily (though it could be due to dehydration). When I applied it to my forehead, I did notice a slightly rich texture. It doesn't seem to control oil very well. For dry skin - feel free to apply generously. For normal skin - generous application is fine too. For oily or combination skin - just reduce one step in your skincare routine for the T-zone before applying. I didn't realize the delivery had arrived, so I'm writing this review a bit late!
