The biggest advantage is how gentle it is! I've tried many toner pads, and this one stands out as both mild and hydrating. It's a really nice product. There's hardly any scent, which is great. The pads are quite thick and have a deep embossed texture. For me, this means they don't adhere to the skin as well as I'd like. For dry skin, this seems to have the best absorption among toner pads. The tweezers are also quite effective compared to others, making it convenient to use. However, I wouldn't recommend it for super sensitive skin. I tried it because it was supposed to be effective for blemishes, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The toner-soaked pads are generously saturated, and best of all, they don't leave any lint behind! They're incredibly gentle too. Even with my sensitive, eczema-prone skin, I can use them without any tingling sensation, even when I'm in a rush and apply more pressure than usual. They cleanse softly and effectively! The formula isn't sticky and seems to provide good hydration. Above all, the entire Green Barley series is working wonders for my uneven skin texture! The price is quite steep. Even when purchased on sale, it still feels expensive. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, winter makeup used to flake and dry out my face. Now, every morning after cleansing, I place these pads on my skin for 5-10 minutes like a mask. Then I gently wipe with the textured side before applying makeup. It absorbs so well! The pads are a bit thick, making it tricky to use around the nose and under the chin. They're not easily torn either. After a week of daily use, I noticed some irritation - my face became bumpy and red. It improved after I stopped using them for 3 days. After using the 'doctor's tape' method and patting in the remaining essence, my skin felt incredibly hydrated and wonderful. As someone with dry skin, I'm really satisfied with how it keeps my skin hydrated during seasonal changes when my skin tends to get drier. It effectively combats that tight, dry feeling and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. While it can be a bit tricky to separate the pads one by one, I think it's actually a good sign. It shows that the pads are thoroughly soaked in the toner essence, which is better than having dry pads. During my use, I found that by not removing the inner seal under the lid, the toner essence stayed more hydrated and seemed to last longer.
