I love that this has a simple, concise ingredient list! Plus, it's fragrance-free, so there's no risk of skin irritation from added scents. - Cleansing power: It's perfect as a gentle cleanser for bare skin days or morning routines! While it's not strong enough to remove makeup or sunscreen, that's what makes it ideal for daily, gentle morning cleansing. It doesn't unnecessarily irritate bare skin, which is great. - Gentle: This is the mildest and gentlest cleanser I've ever used! Based on my experience, it's far less irritating than even the JLAD DMN cleansing gel. I discovered this product when my body, including my skin, was in terrible shape after overexertion, and I've been using it ever since! - Quantity: I think you get a good amount for the price. One pump is enough for a single cleanse. Using it morning and night, one bottle lasts about 4 months.
Cons- Product's natural scent: Since it's fragrance-free, it has a unique scent from its ingredients. Of all the fragrance-free products I've tried, this one has the most... unpleasant smell to me. The first few times I used it, I actually gagged! I had my husband smell it too, and he said it was fine. I guess it just doesn't agree with me specifically. But I got used to it over time! I think I subconsciously started holding my breath while washing my face to avoid the smell. - Non-foaming cleanser: As someone who used to prefer rich, foamy cleansers, it took some time to get used to cleansing without foam. But after about a month, I got accustomed to it. Now I love this product so much that the lack of foam isn't even a drawback anymore.
TipWhen my body was in poor condition and my skin was super sensitive, all cleansers irritated me. But I was worried about hygiene and excess oil if I only used water. In those times, I would quickly apply this cleanser very gently after rinsing my face with water, then immediately rinse it off. This method allowed me to remove facial oils better than water alone, without much more irritation than a water rinse.
