  The emulsion-type formula doesn't lather, which might make you wonder if it's actually cleansing, but it definitely leaves your skin moisturized without any irritation. For someone like me who doesn't wear makeup and prefers gentle products, this seems to be a suitable cleanser. It's even good for morning cleansing. However, it probably won't remove color cosmetics well, except maybe sunscreen. I love that there's less dryness after washing, so I don't feel rushed to apply toner. My skin feels soft and smooth - I'm really satisfied!

  The lack of foam might be a downside. Since I'm used to foaming cleansers, it took a little time to get accustomed to this one.

  This is my go-to product. Whenever my skin is acting up, I always use this for my morning cleanse. It's completely gentle with zero irritation, and leaves my skin so hydrated that I don't even need to apply a separate moisturizer.

  Cons

  It's challenging to use in summer when sebum production is at its peak. This product is best suited for winter use only.

  I've tried many cleansers, but none have been as gentle and non-irritating to my skin as this one. Other supposedly mild cleansing creams, milks, and gels all have that characteristic sticky feeling, but this one leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean.

  Cons

  While it removes sunscreen fairly well, it's not enough on its own for days when you wear makeup. You'll need to use a separate makeup remover for thorough cleansing. In fact, even after using an eye makeup remover, washing with Cetaphil, and toning, I often find leftover makeup on my skin, requiring another round of cleansing.

  Tip

  If you wear makeup frequently, I'd recommend this only for morning cleansing.

  Pros

  Being slightly acidic, this cleanser doesn't lather much and feels slippery, but it's one of the few that causes absolutely no irritation to the skin. Those with super sensitive skin know you shouldn't use anything that foams, right? My skin has truly transformed since using this. To be precise, it's because I'm using a non-foaming cleanser that doesn't damage the skin barrier. I don't get any blemishes anymore. Turns out they weren't from insufficient cleansing after all. I think I'll use this for life. There's nothing quite like it. I've never seen a cleanser from other brands that lathers so little. Fresh's Soy Cleanser is similar, but it's insanely expensive.
