It creates a thin and natural skin appearance, which I actually prefer! While it's gentle and doesn't cause blemishes, the coverage is a bit on the sheer side - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 13, 2025
As someone with warm undertones, this matches me perfectly! The coverage is amazing, and if you apply multiple thin layers, it looks absolutely gorgeous. The product amount is a bit limited, so you need to press firmly to get enough out. If you gently press the cushion and apply it to your skin in multiple layers, it provides great coverage without feeling thick. I can't live without this product! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 24, 2025
I've been using this regularly and I'm impressed with its lasting power. It also doesn't darken my skin as much as others. While cushions with good coverage often apply too thickly for my sensitive skin, this product allows for easy control of the amount applied. I can apply it thinly, and it still provides great coverage. As for downsides... there's not much to complain about, but I do wish it went on sale more often! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 28, 2024
Skin type: Combination, deep undertone Light 21, with redness **Coverage: It's on the higher side compared to other cushions. Among Jung Saem Mool products, I've tried the Master Class before, and the coverage seems similar. However, it can apply thickly, but if you control the amount well and apply it thinly, it covers most blemishes except for very large ones and evens out the complexion. **Color: Personally, I dislike pink bases and don't prefer looking too pale. I like natural ivory-yellow base colors, and Jung Saem Mool is perfect in that aspect. My skin is a light 21, and when I apply this cushion, rather than making my skin look brighter, it naturally covers and enhances my current complexion, which I love. This might be a matter of personal preference, so if you want a lighter color, I recommend buying one shade lighter. **Hydration: I have combination skin leaning towards dry, so I was worried when I bought this product as it's said to be good for oily skin. However, I didn't feel any dryness at all! Even in summer, after setting with powder, it develops a natural glow over time and a slight oiliness comes through. I can't use matte products, so I like this aspect too! Compared to the Master Class, it feels less rich. **Oxidation: I've heard that Jung Saem Mool products tend to oxidize, but I've never experienced this while using it! **Adherence & Staying Power: It's not as matte as you might expect, so if you're hoping for a completely matte finish, you might feel it's less adherent and long-lasting. Even after setting with powder, I find myself being careful when touching my face. It's not that it floats around, but compared to a fully matte cushion, it's less secure. It's perfect for dry and combination skin types to use in summer. For those with oily skin, I'd recommend it for winter use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 23, 2024
The initial application is great. It goes on smoothly in a thin layer. It matches my complexion well. As time passes, it tends to separate quite a bit. It settles into the creases around my nose and smile lines. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 21, 2024
It finishes with a nice matte feel and seems to provide a light, even coverage! I have a slight feeling that the amount might be a bit small? But honestly, there's nothing particularly disappointing about it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinDec 26, 2023
I love how it applies thinly with a semi-matte finish. The staying power is impressive too! It can be a bit drying in winter and might cause slight irritation to the skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 7, 2023
Apply a thin base layer and carefully dab on the cushion for a beautiful finish! The way it wears off is lovely, and the color is vibrant. I recommend choosing the shade that matches your complexion. I'll definitely repurchase! You need to apply just a little for a pretty look. Be careful as too much product comes out at once! Fill in pores with a foundation brush and spread a thin layer evenly. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2023
The coverage is really excellent. I've tried so many cushion testers at Olive Young. I liked Banila Co's coverage, but the powdery finish wasn't great for texture. Naming cushion had a nice finish but lacked coverage. Espoir and Laneige were just okay. Jung Saem Mool was my favorite, but it's pricey. I found a new one on Karrot Market and bought it immediately. Even with a thin layer, the coverage is great without caking. The only downside is that the dewy finish emphasizes under-eye texture, which cost it a star. The lasting power and adherence are fantastic. Since it's October, I'm not sweating much, so I'm not sure about summer performance. You definitely need a solid skincare routine underneath, given it's a semi-matte with good coverage. If you don't have a solid skincare routine, it might look thick. However, if you apply it very thinly, you can achieve sheer but effective coverage. Make sure to create a good skincare base. Then this cushion really delivers on its promises. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 30, 2023
The coverage is fantastic! It absorbs well and feels lightweight on the skin, which I love. It tends to be a bit drying. I'd recommend this for combination or oily skin types.
