I bought this because it had so many recommendations, and personally, what I liked was the natural skin appearance! I don't have much texture, but I have quite a few freckles and dark spots, so I bought it for coverage. However, it seems the product's strength is more in creating a natural skin look rather than providing heavy coverage. I feel like it would suit any complexion, as long as you don't have very dark skin! I don't have super sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any blemishes or itching. Also, I think it held up pretty well without breaking down. Coverage: The coverage was a bit disappointing. It didn't really cover my dark spots and freckles as well as I had hoped. Adherence: While it might be better than cheaper products, it still transfers more easily than expected. I might be biased since I prefer matte, long-wearing foundations for better adherence and coverage. When it did start to break down, it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. I've had my makeup done at Jung Saem Mool before, and I don't think their products suit my skin all that well, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 1, 2024
The coverage is absolutely incredible! Even for combination skin with quite a few acne scars, a small amount provides excellent coverage and lasts for a good while. It seems to hold up easily for 6-7 hours. Plus, it sets to a matte finish, so with a dusting of finishing powder, it barely transfers at all. Controlling the amount is crucial. If you apply it carelessly without measuring, it can settle into creases around the nose and look patchy on the forehead and cheeks. It can appear mask-like on the face if not applied properly. For perfect adherence, use a spatula to control the amount, and wash your puff every 3-4 days before use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 25, 2024
The coverage is great, and if you apply it evenly, it spreads well without clumping. I love that there's a blending palette inside the case to control the amount of product, allowing for more precise application. It's clear they put a lot of thought into the design. For some reason, this cushion seems to darken more noticeably than other brands. Right after application, there's a slight yellow tinge to the skin. It doesn't feel like it adheres perfectly. After some time, I noticed my complexion looked darker and duller, which was really disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2024
It absorbs well and feels moisturizing, so I didn't experience any dryness during use. The coverage is also quite good. As time passes, the makeup starts to separate. I wish there were more shade options available. I don't think the effects justify the price. For this product's cost, I might consider choosing something from a different brand. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 6, 2024
The coverage is excellent, effectively concealing blemish marks! Since I started using this, I've received many compliments on how good my skin looks! After some time, it tends to separate a bit on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 6, 2024
As someone with quite a bit of redness and pigmentation, I need a lot of coverage. This foundation did an excellent job concealing almost everything. While it's matte, it gives a luminous finish right after application. The shade is neither too light nor too dark, providing a natural-looking complexion. The downside is that if you apply just a bit too much, it can break down and separate on oily T-zones. I used it during summer, so that might be why. With careful application, it lasts about 4-5 hours without breaking down, but I found the longevity a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 5, 2024
The coverage was truly excellent, and I absolutely loved the feature of dispensing the product onto the lid for use. The amount you get is surprisingly generous! There's a bit of pilling, and if you don't meticulously apply your skincare base, it tends to separate quickly. It works like a dream when used in combination with Jung Saem Mool's cushion pads - an absolutely fantastic pairing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 16, 2024
For those with a deep undertone and shade 22 skin, it's slightly bright but just perfect. It's adequately moisturizing for combination dehydrated skin and provides good coverage. It tends to settle into the creases around the nose, and oil starts to come through after some time. It can also appear a bit patchy around the chin area. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSep 15, 2024
As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to hyperpigmentation and visible pores, I find this product offers great coverage and decent staying power. The downside is that if you don't get the amount right, it can look too thick. It tends to separate around the nose area. It's not great for touch-ups either - the more you layer, the more it seems to cake up. Writing this out makes it sound like there are a lot of cons, but honestly, I didn't think it was that bad... feeling a bit sheepish about it. I think it would work even better if you exfoliate well around the nose area and ensure you have a solid skincare base. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 28, 2024
Skin type: Combination, deep undertone Light 21, with redness **Coverage: It's on the higher side compared to other cushions. Among Jung Saem Mool products, I've tried the Master Class before, and the coverage seems similar. However, it can apply thickly, but if you control the amount well and apply it thinly, it covers most blemishes except for very large ones and evens out the complexion. **Color: Personally, I dislike pink bases and don't prefer looking too pale. I like natural ivory-yellow base colors, and Jung Saem Mool is perfect in that aspect. My skin is a light 21, and when I apply this cushion, rather than making my skin look brighter, it naturally covers and enhances my current complexion, which I love. This might be a matter of personal preference, so if you want a lighter color, I recommend buying one shade lighter. **Hydration: I have combination skin leaning towards dry, so I was worried when I bought this product as it's said to be good for oily skin. However, I didn't feel any dryness at all! Even in summer, after setting with powder, it develops a natural glow over time and a slight oiliness comes through. I can't use matte products, so I like this aspect too! Compared to the Master Class, it feels less rich. **Oxidation: I've heard that Jung Saem Mool products tend to oxidize, but I've never experienced this while using it! **Adherence & Staying Power: It's not as matte as you might expect, so if you're hoping for a completely matte finish, you might feel it's less adherent and long-lasting. Even after setting with powder, I find myself being careful when touching my face. It's not that it floats around, but compared to a fully matte cushion, it's less secure. It's perfect for dry and combination skin types to use in summer. For those with oily skin, I'd recommend it for winter use.
