The coverage is great and it has a semi-matte finish, so it should work well for most skin types unless you have extremely dry skin There's a bit of darkening and it can slightly emphasize dead skin cells Try applying it with a sponge from Daiso for better results - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 30, 2025
I've been using this cushion for about a year and a half, including refills, and I absolutely adore how it enhances my skin's appearance and the finish it provides. It applies with a matte, velvety texture that isn't overly drying, and it gives a subtle glow that's just beautiful! The color is way too yellow! It's not even a pretty ivory shade, just straight-up yellow. It's like clay-colored. To make matters worse, it oxidizes badly. After spending a few hours at school, I look like a mess by the time I head home. If they could create a pink-based ivory shade, I'd probably use this as my holy grail cushion for life. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 30, 2024
I've been using this for about two months. The cushion is soft and bouncy, not hard at all. There's a slight darkening effect. Great staying power with no caking or creasing. No blemishes. It has a slightly matte finish. Not recommended for dry skin though. The only downside was some minor flaking under the eyes and on the forehead, but otherwise no complaints. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinDec 11, 2024
As someone with combination dehydrated skin in shades 21-22, I exclusively use this product during winter. It's semi-matte yet wonderfully moisturizing. I also love its strong coverage. There's a slight darkening effect, so I'd recommend going one shade lighter. Also, given it's for combination dehydrated skin, it tends to get increasingly glowy over time, leading to excess oil production in the T-zone. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 3, 2024
I was looking for a middle shade since 21 was too light and 23 too dark, and I found this cushion that's about a 22. Highly recommend for those like me! I prefer a matte finish over a glossy one, so I bought the Cover Layer. If you want a more dewy look, I'd suggest the Essential Skin Nuder Cushion! I didn't find any significant drawbacks when I used it! The side wall of the cushion, if that's what you'd call it, is great for evening out the product after dipping. For makeup beginners like me, it makes it easy to smooth out the application and control the amount used! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 1, 2024
The coverage is absolutely incredible! Even for combination skin with quite a few acne scars, a small amount provides excellent coverage and lasts for a good while. It seems to hold up easily for 6-7 hours. Plus, it sets to a matte finish, so with a dusting of finishing powder, it barely transfers at all. Controlling the amount is crucial. If you apply it carelessly without measuring, it can settle into creases around the nose and look patchy on the forehead and cheeks. It can appear mask-like on the face if not applied properly. For perfect adherence, use a spatula to control the amount, and wash your puff every 3-4 days before use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 22, 2024
Great for oily skin types. It's semi-matte, so it doesn't feel too drying. Perhaps because it's semi-matte, it tends to mix with oil and clump after some time. Setting it with powder improves its longevity. Absolutely fantastic! If you have oily skin, don't forget to use powder. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 6, 2024
As someone with quite a bit of redness and pigmentation, I need a lot of coverage. This foundation did an excellent job concealing almost everything. While it's matte, it gives a luminous finish right after application. The shade is neither too light nor too dark, providing a natural-looking complexion. The downside is that if you apply just a bit too much, it can break down and separate on oily T-zones. I used it during summer, so that might be why. With careful application, it lasts about 4-5 hours without breaking down, but I found the longevity a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinOct 4, 2024
As someone with dry skin who doesn't like overly moisturizing cushions, I mainly use semi-matte ones. This cushion works well even for dry skin types. It has medium to high coverage, doesn't settle into fine lines, and doesn't break down messily throughout the day. I haven't found any significant drawbacks yet. However, those with very dry skin might find it a bit drying during winter months. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 8, 2024
Wow, the coverage is truly incredible! The coverage power is absolutely top-notch... I think Jung Saem Mool cushion is really the best? It's easy to control the amount, and even beginners can apply it smoothly without clumping. It goes on so lightly, you can just swipe it on. The semi-matte finish is perfect for achieving that soft, powdery makeup look. If you skimp on skincare, it might feel a bit dry!! Make sure to build a solid skincare routine. You know how to apply it, right? Just sweep it across as if you're brushing over your pores, then gently pat it in.
