Echinacea extract is said to help sensitive skin. Texture and Scent: It has a creamy ointment-like texture that applies smoothly. It feels slightly rich but not heavy. I noticed a subtle mugwort scent mixed with a unique herbal fragrance, likely from the mugwort leaf and echinacea herb extracts. Experience: I was amazed to feel my skin texture become softer the very next day after first use! I didn't expect immediate results, so I was pleasantly surprised to feel an instant improvement in my skin barrier. While it didn't immediately relieve itchiness caused by dryness, I was very satisfied to wake up the next morning feeling the cream still adhering to my skin (great longevity). As I'm raising a 4-month-old baby, I'm quite particular about ingredients when purchasing cosmetics. I was especially pleased that this cream is free from 20 concerning ingredients. Pros: The price is reasonable for a cream, allowing generous application. It seems particularly suitable for improving the skin barrier, especially during windy seasons when the skin surface tends to become dry, itchy, or rough. I also appreciated the hygienic tube packaging.
ConsAs it's a product for hydration and barrier improvement, it has an oily feel, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin. It feels lacking in moisture, so it should be used in combination with the Low Quest essence or a hydrating emulsion/essence.
TipI found that using this cream together with a cream-type toner and the Low Quest cream doubled the hydration, making it a perfect combination for winter. As it seems to require separate hydration, I sometimes use a sheet mask before applying the cream before bed for extra moisture.
